Diving is fun, but it can also be dangerous if you aren't well prepared, so I am picky when it comes to dive shops and instructors. There are a lot of options on Curacao, so I asked around quite a bit before settling on The Dive Bus to train my two young kids (aged 10 and 13 - PADI Open Water course). The location of the shop was a secondary factor, but it also happened to be convenient for me (Mambo Beach area). I was glad I chose them. They took good care of my kids, keeping things fun while also ensuring that they learned the material, developed safe habits and met an acceptable standard of performance. Later in our vacation, we visited the other end of the island where we dove with a different local shop. The staff there were impressed enough with these brand new divers to ask where they had been trained so that they could send them a note of approval themselves.

We did 8 dives with The Dive Bus and had a fantastic time. Divemasters David and Collin were outstanding. We saw tons of cool things from Moray Eels, Octopus, Lobster, Crabs, and we were fortunate to swim in a baitball on Pierbaii Reef above The Car Pile. Very cool experience. We even saw a red and a yellow Seahorse on the same reef. Great friendly staff and nice choice of dive sites. Highly recommended.

Booked two days of spectacular shore diving in Curacao with the Dive Bus. We opted for private guide services both days. I cannot say enough good things about this dive op, the people who work there, and, of course, the underwater paradise of Curacao. Colin, our Dive Master was paired with us for both days of diving. From the moment you meet Colin you know he is an accomplished dive master and instructor. The thing about Colin and the Dive Bus is that they somehow perfectly thread the needle of safety and fun. Buddy checks were consistently performed under Colin's supervision, hand signals reviewed and agreed upon, and all dives were thoroughly briefed. Our first dive, at the Dive Bus House Reef was terrific and exactly what we hoped for - calm, slow, and shallow! We were on vacation and not looking to do speed laps around the reef. The reef is healthy and we were treated to an incredible diversity of marine life, including a daytime sighting of an octopus. Colin took his time and gave us plenty of opportunity to observe and take in the beauty of this remarkable place. After our leisurely surface interval - we changed and went out for lunch - our second dive of the first day found us on the actual "dive bus" with a visit that took us to Director's Bay for a fantastic wall dive. On our second day, we opted to visit Kokomo for both of the dives. Consistent with our first day, the diving was terrific. Colin was an expert guide, and I was also very excited when he offered to work on some skills with me. I told Colin I was always looking for better buoyancy (I mean, who isn't?) and he was kind enough to go through several drills with me during our swim from the shore to the reef. I achieved a new personal best for bottom time on my second dive of 72 minutes, a credit to Colin's instruction and guide skills! At first I was skeptical that two dives on the same reef was going to be interesting. It turns out I could have done four dives at Kokomo and still had stuff to see (as an aside, the beach here is fantastic, and we came back the next day to do some snorkeling). Beyond the wonderful in-water experience, I cannot thank the folks at the Dive Bus enough for their level of accommodation and care. Vegan snacks were provided for our surface intervals and our gear was stored overnight, not only between day 1 and 2 of our dives, but also after we were done diving so it could have a proper dry before being packed back up to go home. If you want a safe, accommodating, and easy-going diving experience, look no further than the Dive Bus. We cannot wait to return to Curacao and go for another "bus trip"!

We had a great time diving with David during our refresher course (and Collin the following days on regular dives). The refresher course was perfect-- not long or arduous, but we felt very comfortable and safe by the time we were actually diving. The guides are great-- welcoming, patient and laidback-- and the rentals are clean and new. Absolutely recommend.

The friendly crew at the Dive Bus is the perfect way to dive Curacao! It was my 3rd time diving in Curacao, the first two were with a well established dive charter boat company which was OK but the larger variety of sites that the Dive Bus has to offer, along with their competent divemasters who have first hand knowledge of these sites, I got to see a lot more of the underwater beauty and biodiversity that Curacao has to offer. It does not make sense to dive Curacao any other way!

My son and I decided to do some diving since our family was in Curaçao for a vacation. I had read great reviews on Reddit about the Dive Bus and so we decided to do the refresher dive with them as it had been a few years since we last went diving. We had such an excellent experience with Whitney as our instructor. We easily were refreshed of our skills and went on an amazing dive! After seeing how amazing the reef was just across the road from the shop, we then decided to go on another guided dive with David as the guide, who pointed out all the amazing fish and coral, and we even got to see a seahorse!! My son ended up taking the advance open water course with Colin. He had a great experience and really enjoyed his time. We ended our experience with renting equipment and going off on our own to Playa Kalki and Piscado for the last day. I must say that the Dive Bus has excellent staff and resources for divers of all experience levels. Everybody is willing to share their knowledge and give advice for all the dive spots on the island. They are all very knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. I highly recommend this dive shop for anybody seeking an amazing dive experience on the island. We’re definitely going to come back to visit!!

Nice friendly folks, dive guides are helpful and friendly. Pickups are reliable. Gear storage is good. Not an issue for the dive bus, but cautio. Is advised for Atlantis dive site entry . The Dive Bus is the best option for shore dives in Curacao,

A fun team who always put safety first. The diving is exceptional with so much to see. The Dive Bus offers training as well as ls diving so you can upgrade your skills, try scuba or get certified! There is so much to see in the waters around the island. W lol worth the trip!

Our two days diving with the Dive Bus were excellent. While the shop may be a bit rustic you will never notice because the staff are amazingly helpful, knowledgeable, and awesome. The Dive Bus more than exceeded our expectations and I would recommend them to anyone wishing to dive whilst in Curaçao.

I had a very good time with the Dive Bus, the dive sites were very nice, the staff very friendly and the dive guides pointed out nice things during the dives. There were drinks and snacks between the dives and the overall vibe was very good. Communication upfront via WhatsApp was amazing and all my questions were answered very quickly. I would recommend the Dive Bus to everyone wanting to have a great time scuba diving on Curacao!

The dive Bus is a great operation and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They make diving in Curacao a treat and have a great house reef. My wife did her Open water referral to certify with them and I was able to do some advanced dives with them while she was on her training dives. Whitney, Collin and Justin were the 3 instructors we dove with all of them are so patient, extremely knowledgeable and fun to be around. Sad to leave will definitely come back and highly recommend The Dive Bus. Also a licensed Subapro shop with plenty of great gear if you need anything

Friendly and well qualified, The Dive Bus crew took me and my children to fascinating and beautiful dive sites right from shore. We saw lots of colorful coral and fish and a friendly green sea turtle took to swimming with on our second tank. Pretty neat.

Wonderful back-up for independent diving, good facilities & really friendly and helpful staff. Highly commended!

Great shop. very relaxed and helpful. We rented the gear and did our own dives first, then went with Collin on the guided trip. Thank you Collin and Zoe for your help. I heard this place has the best equipment on the island and believe it. we didn't try any other shops, so can't compare ourselves. Recommend.
