They didn’t want to be on a slow boat for two hours. Yes the ride was bumpy going out but we were there in 45 minutes. Ride back was 30 mins and it was a blast. The island was beautiful and the crew was helpful the whole time. Made sure my teens felt comfortable with their peanut and tree nut allergies at lunch. Food was delicious and beers were ice cold First day in Curacao so we got and we got fried! Our captain , Tamara, and Benji were so friendly , fun, and easy to talk to! They helped guide us on where to go for our private trip, and we settled on the blue room cave , swimming with turtles , and snorkeling. The boat was fast, fun, and still felt super safe. They helped guide us into what locations we wanted to see , so we were able to snorkel, swim with turtles, and go into the blue room cave. They were super friendly, played great music, provided us lunch, and even brought us champagne to celebrate our honeymoon! The boat was fast, fun, and still felt super safe. David and Benji made it so much fun for me and my family. When we showed up we thought the trip would have cancelled because of the weather. Hell no. The bigger the waves the better. Felt like an adventure ride at an amusement park. Food was great. They made the food on boat and was great. We snorkeled quit a few spots, and the blue room. Great trip. That alone was worth the premium. The ride over was a little rough with the waves---we got soaking wet, but dried very quickly once getting to the island. The staff was very approachable and chill, lunch was delicious and we even snagged our own palapa for most of the stay. Snorkeling was marvelous (probably even better if you go further from shore). Would definitely recommend---just be sure to bring plenty of sunscreen. We forgot ours and got severely sunburned as most of the island has no shade and we were there for 4 hours.Written March 7, 2024

With my 2 teenage sons to Klein Curacao. Boys will be boys so we opted for some extra adrenaline on the Powerboat. That was so much fun! What an experience to ride the waves at this speed, with a wonderful playlist on in the background. Despite some bouncing (every now and then the boat really comes loose) you don't get seasick at all. The captain can 'read' the waves perfectly and steers the boat very skilfully, which gives a safe feeling despite the speed. The "bounty" island itself is beautiful, just right to spend some hours there. Then you can visit the Things to do (shipwrecks and lighthouse) and also enjoy snorkeling and lunch. We had a well catered BBQ lunch and were served a plate with several pieces of meat and some salad. The Captain and Guide are very sympathetic and have chatted with us cozy on throughout the day. Highly recommended to make this excursion with the Powerboat!

With Powerboat Caribbean you can be on Klein Curaçao within 40 minutes. Had a very nice experience. On the day of departure there was virtually no wind so the ride went very smoothly. Tamara and David took good care of us with a BBQ and drinks. Powerboat Caribbean is an absolute must!!

Celebrated our wedding day with a boat trip to Klein Curaçao. Because of the good reviews and impatience of our smallest children (7 and 8) chose the speed and small group size of the powerboat. How much we enjoyed it! Tamara and David were not only hilarious together, they were knowledgeable and very welcoming. On Klein Curaçao they both knew a lot about the history of the island, the lighthouse, the shipwrecks and the different boats that dock on the island. We would love to come back and experience more adventures with the powerboat!

Wife and I were picked up at the discussed time from Sandals and had an amazing ride to Klein Island with Tamara and Yasser. Yasser was passing along knowledge along the way and checked on the riders often to make sure all was good. Had a great time and would recommend this powerboat trip to everyone as long as your back and knees are in good shape to absorb the waves. The lunch was excellent with beef and chicken on the grill and a pasta salad made by Tamara that was flavorful. Thanks to Powerboat Caribbean for the fun day of boating/snorkeling/hiking/ swimming. Normally I get seasick when I look at a boat, but fortunately with the powerboat it went well and I had no problems. How cool it was over the water. Klein Curacao is really a paradise to see, we definitely recommend it, with the powerboat not leaving too early and not too long, it was just right. And what a great crew!

I have to give This outfitter an average or below average rating. Some comments:
- Heading to the island, we were driving into the surf. They were driving too fast for conditions, to the extent the boat would launch off the wave and come down with a body jarring slam that reverberated through your spine. If they had simply slowed down 5 mph, it would’ve been more comfortable.
- they did reach the island within 40 minutes, but I heard comments from other passengers that they would’ve preferred to have gone slower and gotten there in a more comfortable 50 to 60 minutes.
- we were told the boat would depart the island at 2 PM. We left 55 minutes late. There was no relevant reason for the late departure And we would’ve been OK had they simply told us the correct departure time.
- The staff spent a good majority of the time goofing around amongst themselves on the island and having a good old time. It seemed like half of the passengers were actually friends with the staff, so the actual guests were outsiders and not talked to.
- there was little to no English that was spoken, so if you don’t speak Spanish, you didn’t feel welcome.
- the food at lunch was excellent, but we were all crammed together under a small hut, without sufficient seating. Ultimately we were able to sit on a cooler to eat.
- they played excessively loud island rap music on the boat, which detracted from the boat ride and scenery.
- on the way home the two boats from this provider were racing each other. It was ‘sophomoric’ and summed up the overall experience…. Not awesome.
Overall I recommend the island but not this provider. 😢

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. We are sorry to hear that your experience with us was disappointing. I would like to address your concerns:
- The ocean here in Curacao is usually quite choppy, but we have very skilled captains who make the ride to the island as comfortable as possible. They do so by slowing down when needed, and speeding up when possible. During the briefing we always ask everybody to let us know if at any point you feel unsafe or if you are experiencing any pain. At several moments during the tour the crew asked everybody if they were okay, and from what we understood the captain slowed down the boat as per your request. We are sorry to hear that you felt the speed was too high for the conditions. Our captains are extremely experienced and based on the weather conditions that day we are confident the speed they had was adequate and safe.
- As for the late departure: we always depart at 3 pm from Klein Curacao, so there was no 'late' departure. We are sorry if perhaps there was some miscommunication about the scheduled departure time.
- As for the staff, we are proud to say we are a friendly team and like to make friends with our guests (they were all actual guests, some were returning guests). We are sorry to hear that you felt excluded and we would like to apologize for that.
- Thank you for the compliments about the food. We will take the seating into consideration but we are sharing the hut with other charters so this is not so easy.
- As for the music on the boat, taste is something that is very different for everybody but we will take it into account for the future.
- With regards to racing: we are sorry you felt the captains were racing each other. We are afraid the experience as we offer it, and as you have expected it are two entirely different things. The Powerboats are known for their speed, so naturally they go fast. This is one of the top reasons for people to book a trip with us. At no point do we wish to endanger anyone on board, and racing is not something we do on a day with guests on board.

First time we Signed up for a tour on trip advisor and it was super easy . Our crew, Yasser and Chris, were an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. The trip out was exhilarating but rough…if you have a bad back, might want to think twice about this trip during dec/jan when the seas are rough. The island itself was surreal with abandoned light house and a couple of ship wrecks. The beach was beautiful, lunch was fantastic and you could do as much or as little as you wanted. The trip back was much smoother (going with the wind and current) and going fast over big swells is just a ton of fun. Your going to get wet so bring an extra shirt. The company is top notch and if you are looking for an exhilarating trip over and back, than this is your tour. We like small groups and with 10 max on the boat, it is a more intimate experience. We did not want to sail over with 30-60 other people on the boat. We will definitely be back for this. Thanks for a fantastic day

After a good briefing at around ten o’clock Tamara and Irvin started the 400hp engines of their two boats. Luckily for us the sea was easy as there was not much wind. On our way we noticed Irvin and Tamara have a lot experience finding the right direction and speed through the waves. Still, you have to keep in mind it can be a bumpy ride sometimes depending on the water currents and wind. Within approximately 45 minutes we arrived at Klein Curacao. Here you have the time for to walk to the shipwreck or snorkle with sea turtles in the heavily bright sea. At around 1 o’clock the bbq master Irvin prepared burgers and tenderloin from the grill. There were salads and unlimited drinks (water, soda, beer). The hosts were making sure that we all stayed hydrated throughout the day.
At around 3 o'clock we headed back to Curaçao while nice music sounded through the speakers. Within 30 minutes we arrived at the meeting spot at Zanzibar, Jan Thiel.
Concluding: We are really happy we choose the Powerboat. Especially when you get seasick easily, this really is the best option. Tamara and Irvin took really good care of us throughout the day.

We enjoyed every minute of our trip to Klein Curacao. The trip to the island was exciting, the stay on Small Curadise great with a nice homemade lunch and on the way back we speeded accross the waves back with some thrilling wave riding.
But most important Captain Tamara and her team made a very good and relaxed effort to give us a very good experience. Nice and friendly !!!
You don;t have to hesitate, I am convinced you will find the trip as great as we did.

I think it took an hour and a half or something like that but on the way back i think it took up to 3 hours or so cuz we were just sailing and chilling, enjoying drinks and company. Its a whole day trip :)
