      Interesting Visit
Chobolobo is where Curacao liqueur is made. We arrived too late to do the tour, but were able to walk inside and look around. There are several informative signs and artifacts to see. There is a tasting area with a bar and tables. I had a strawberry smoothie for $5, very delicious! I loved watching the birds at the feeding station, and the gift shop is super nice. I learned a lot about the history of curaçao making, and a little about the island itself. So glad I visited.

      Fun time
The tour was very informative. Our tour guide was very good. The only complaint was a bus pulled in and seemed to jump in front of our group and was loud.

Self-guided walking history and food tour
The tour goes for about 2 hours and goes through the Peitermaai area of Curacao. It was great to learn the history of the area and understand how Curacao and this area came to be. We also tasted several types of food and drinks along the way. The tour would have been great if all the restaurants knew to expect us. Everyone did but one restaurant was slow in providing the food and that made the entire day longer than 2 hours. Even though that food was what we thought to be the best, it made us inadvertently rush through the remaining 4 stops. The food overall was very good as were the drinks. We were not hungry afterwards not thirsty! Be careful finishing all the drinks especially if you are driving! Overall, a very good tour. The earlier you start, the earlier you finish as the later hours get busy!!

      Great tour and good people
Great tour! Very informative and the guide had good energy. Enjoyed being able to taste the product and then enjoyed a cocktail or 2 with our group which gave us a good opportunity to meet all different types of people. Shop was great too

      Super dushi
The guides are fun and friendly and make the tour interesting. Cocktails at the end are perfect. The tour is short but more informative than doing a self guided tour. If you plan on more than one cocktail highly recommend the cocktail experience tour if it's available

      Very Informative and Tasty
The tour was short but very informative. The guide spent time describing the entire distilling process and the history of the distillery. The tasty drinks at the end were great.

      Amazing tour
The tour was fantastic and Eli was the perfect guide- knowledgeable and lovely. It was just long enough. The tour came with two cocktails which were just what we needed at the end . And at Eli’s suggestion, we took some mango hot sauce home with us… so good!

We booked this tour to see the distillery and learn more about how Blue Curacao is made and added on the cocktail workshop for some adult fun.

The tour was short, but very informative. Our guide was knowledgeable in the manufacturing process and history of the distillery.

The cocktail workshop was awesome. Each of use was served a welcome drink at the beginning of the tour that we enjoyed while learning about the process. Then we were able to make two cocktails from the menu of about 40 different drinks, each one using one of their products. All of the mixes, other liquors and garnishes were available and the guide gave us an instruction on how to make a proper drink. We spent almost two hours making our cocktails and enjoying the afternoon. The other people on the tour were jealous of how much fun we were having and I highly recommend this add on.

This experience could not have been better.

The entire experience was very organized and had great communication which we greatly appreciated. The welcome hut and tour guide were kind and clear in our interactions.

The best part of our experience was the cocktail workshop. We were fortunate to be the only two people who signed up for this on the day. You can’t expect that as we hear it is often 20 guests but we were so happy with our time. Gan and GiGi were our workshop leaders and they were the BEST. Chobolobo Curacao is by far superior to anything we find in the USA but I will tell you - I would come back because of Gan and GiGi alone. They were kind, friendly, informative, and catered our class directly to us. We felt like rockstars and ended up staying for extra drinks.

If I could recommend anything, it would be to have classes smaller than 20. I can’t imagine having that many guests in there.

Thank you Gan, GiGi, and our kind tour guide(sorry I did not get your name but he was a kind man!)!

Part 1- The tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. He was friendly and had passion in what he was doing. The welcome cocktail was refreshing and the sample flavors were great.

Part 2- Kendrick did a great job showing us how to make a cocktail and then guided us to make our own. He was personable and kept it lively!

I would definitely recommend this tour on your visit to Curacao!

Really great experience! Our tour guide was very informative and had a great sense of humor. You really don't see any active production, but the displays are educational. We chose to do the cocktail class, which was awesome; took about two hours. We met several other couples who were also in the workshop, which was nice--good information exchange, etc. You come away with a number of great recipes, which is helpful. The gift shop is good; prices for the Chobolobo products are a bit cheaper there than we found elsewhere; the airport prices were significantly higher.

Ok, so after other tours around the Caribbean, we also did the full cocktail making and tour at Chobolobo’s. The tour itself was maybe 10 minutes long and only goes through a single hallway; kind of disappointing and rushed.
The cocktail making class was fun, but you won’t get a lot out of it if you already have a basic understanding of cocktails. But, you still get two cocktails.
Regardless of whether or not you do the tour, you should take time to visit the location, have a cocktail, and purchase some liquor you can only get there.

Want to make a fantastic drink, try this:

    “The Tourist”
    1 oz Senior’s Curaçao Tamarein
1 oz white rum (prefer Plantation 3 star)
    1 oz Amaretto (prefer Lazzaroni)
    2 oz orange juice
    2 oz pineapple juice
    1 egg white

Dry shake all ingredients for 20-30 seconds.
Add ice, shake for another 10-15 seconds
    Pour into appropriate drinking vessel.
    (Drink pictured below)
    Enjoy

A group of 5 of us did the cocktail workshop tour. The tour portion at the start was really interesting. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. The cocktail workshop took place after the tour and it was really fun! We took turns making drinks and I felt like a real bartender.

The entire experience was excellent but I do wish there would of been less people around as it sometimes felt a bit crowded (especially during the tour but even a bit during the workshop). They should offer a semi private cocktail workshop tour later in the day when there are less people around. Price it a bit higher and give people who want a more private experience that option.

We went on the Cocktail Workshop tour and absolutely loved it! Great value, fun time, wonderful drinks. We'll definitely be back! Give yourself some extra time to enjoy drinks at their bar afterwards, best drinks on the island for a reasonable price.

The only recommendation I have is to allow the tour to move slower. I was very interested in learning about the distillery, but we moved too fast to even read the historical signs. The cocktail workshop was fun, tasty, and entertaining. I would recommend this to friends and family.

We would never have considered doing this cocktail workshop, but we received tickets as a gift. Our Chobolobo afternoon ended up being a highlight of our time in Curacao! Our tour guide, Ingo, was great. He gave our group a fun and informative tour of the distillery, including the history of the original Curacao liqueur. Ingo then took us to our cocktail workshop with Luis. Luis was fun and very patient with us novice bartenders. We were each able to choose two cocktails from a long list of delicious options. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We really enjoyed our trip to the distillery. Our tour guide, Eli, was friendly and knowledgeable. The setting was comfortable and relaxed. We did the cocktail making class and enjoyed getting to know another couple and share stories while we sipped our drinks.
The class was set up so two people at a time could make a beverage of their choice from the list provided. Lots of great and varied choices. I wish I had asked our bartender "teacher's" name, she was wonderful.
The only reason I rated this a 4 instead of 5 was that the tour was pretty short and we easily could have walked through and read the signs and looked at the equipment on our own BUT we definitely enjoyed Eli as our guide. When I come back to Curaçao, I will plan on returning because it was an enjoyable, fun afternoon!
