With our cruise, Bonaire was one of the longest stops that invites you to mainly scuba.
We dropped off from our cruise to the terminal, we were a bit early so we were not sure if we were in the correct place as other tour operators were already picking and moving their guests.
Thankfully everyone knows everyone and they confirmed where to wait and who to expect.
We thankfully had Brenda, who mentioned that she has lots of experience in doing so and clarified a few things.
She will also suggest the best spot to swim with turtles (if that is your goal) as is not the "touristic" spot that many use.
Bonaire does not have much of sandy beaches but mostly coral based (so pack your beach/swimming shoes!).
Regardless of these limitations, we loved the tour as there was quite a bit more to see.
Brenda had not only a full and well detailed tour already laid for us.
But also had a few booklets so we could easily see the location, information and other details about the places we were visiting at the time, including birds and fish!. So for those history or photography nuts, you will be covered perfectly!
Brenda drove to the different location in her private truck ( we were only 3 tourists), which was comfy, plenty of space to store, good viewing angles and of course, cold water for hydration.
We visited the slave huts, the salt mine, the lighthouses, flamingos, etc.. We pretty much did a full circle to the island as we changed our mind regarding the snorkeling.
Brenda also accommodated our changes and suggested other things, like going to the top of the mountain's overlook to see the entire city and giving us additional recommendations to see turtles.
I am also thankful for the photo stops as I'm an aficionado.
So I recommend H20 Visions Bonaire.

Even though there were only two of us signed up for the tour, the tour was not cancelled. Brenda, the owner and operator, was very knowledgeable about the island and its history, and especially about the marine life. We enjoyed seeing sites along the road to the Cargill salt pans, old slave huts and the Willemstoren Lighthouse. Brenda is an expert diver and she took us to the perfect beach close to the cruise pier for novice snorkelers. The equipment she provided was very good quality, and she spent the time in the water with us pointing out the different fish, including one of the biggest bar jack fish she had ever seen. The tour was exactly as advertised, and was very enjoyable.

Brenda is a amazing guide. She had a great knowledge of the island and communicates in a relaxed conversational manner. She tailored our tour to the preferences of our group (of 10 or so. A manageable size!). She selected our snorkel spot based on our wishes as well as local conditions. We had a great experience in the water. On the way back, she pointed out places we could explore on our own. Spots to shore snorkel near the boat, a local resort for those wanting beach time, affordable places to eat and drink. She even dropped us at a nearby dive shop so we could purchase some upgraded equipment. She was more than a tour guide, she was a neighbor or friend. I cannot rate her and her tour highly enough.

If it was possible to give a zero star review that is what I would be doing. My conversation started with Brenda on February 28th of 2022, and resulted in a booking for two people for a South side tour with a single snorkel stop. For $75 each. I paid her $40 deposit. Had all of my emails with me when we arrived at the Port today only to find her with a group of three people and one truck. She then essentially told me that she forgot that she had already booked with me and that she would be taking the other people and not my husband and I. An absolutely horrible experience, I cannot believe that somebody would run their business like that. I am also a business owner and I could not imagine not only not honoring my commitments but being so nonchalant about it. Thank goodness we were able to go ahead and get a tour of the city for much cheaper and I would tell any of you double triple quadruple check with her, which I should not have had to do.

What a great time we had with Eddy this week. It was a real pleasure to be around someone so knowledgeable about both island history and marine life. Although my wife and I are both experienced snorkelers, he came in the water with us at each stop and pointed out anything special he had seen. He also seemed to enjoy the snorkeling for himself, which was great, knowing how long he has been doing this. My wife was really hoping to see some turtles and although that didn't happen (certainly not for Eddy's lack of trying) we still had a great time. If we return to Bonaire again we will certainly give them a buzz and will tell anyone we know who is looking for a great snorkel excursion on Bonaire to look them up.

We booked through a third party that we have used and loved in the past. We were off our ship over 45 min before the tour was scheduled and went to the square we had been directed to meet the tour at by email. To make certain we were at the right place we confirmed with Carnival staff. When no one arrived after 15 min we asked another tour guide in pink who told us we were in the right area (square in front of Diamond int'l). Waited another 10 and my husband went to eco tour and asked them to read the email and see if we were at the right place. They stated we were according to the email and where H2O usually is. We then asked another tour guide in pink when there were still no H2O tour guide signs nor Shore and snorkel signs being held up either in the area near the ship, the square or at the steet. We continued to wait until 10:30a.m. and even signed up with our cell service for an international plan for the day in an attempt to reach the H2O office after receiving a hang up call at 9:15a.m.. All we received was the voice-mail 4 times even after leaving a voice-mail.
They told the company we booked through that they waited for us until after the time scheduled. Since we have a time stamped receipt from a store for a drink I bought while waiting at the square, the phone records and other proof we were not allowed to send to the company I would caution anyone from using them.
This wasn't our 1st tour or excursion (loved our Aruba excursion for snorkeling btw on the same trip but a different company) and won't be our last...except with this company.
They told the company we booked through that they waited for us until after the time scheduled. Since we have a time stamped receipt from a store for a drink I bought while waiting at the square, the phone records and other proof we were not allowed to send to the company I would caution anyone from using them.

We strive to ensure that meeting times and directions are clear and concise. This particular tour was a combined group of travelers from your ship. At the specified tour start time, half of the guests arrived and rather then make them wait too long we continued with the tour. Bonnie met us at the entrance to the cruise port right on time. She takes a maximum of 6 persons on this tour and we had 5. One of the first things she asked was what our expectations were and our individual snorkeling experience; very helpful. The tour of the southern portion of the island and the Cargill salt operations was entertaining and informative. Once at the snorkeling location she had everything for us: masks and snorkels, fins, snorkeling vests (if we wanted one) and water shoes. She assisted everyone entering the water, removing shoes and putting on our fins. Once everyone was settled, she snorkeled with us and pointed out many interesting sea life including barracudas, octopus, corals and various colorful tropical fish. Very beautiful location teeming with sea life! She then assisted everyone out if the water, provided drinking water and took a leisurely ride back to town. We highly recommend Brenda and her company.
PS All participants came from a Celebrity cruise ship where all guests were Covid vaccinated and had tested negative for the virus.

We were a group of 7, ages approx. 55-80. Brenda did a great job on the brief tour of the area south to the salt works as well as with the snorkeling. She provide good snorkeling equipment as well as personal advice on what to look for and in assisting those that were not experienced snorkelers. Would highly recommend.

The South Island tour was OK and informative. Brenda was knowledgeable and friendly. The snorkeling was fun and a great experience. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperative, as it poured the whole time we snorkeled. The shore where we snorkeled was rocky and no beach area. We had two individual who wanted to just sit on the beach while the rest of us snorkeled but there wasn't any beach, not to mention it rained. Overall, it was a fun time, and I would recommend H2O.

We did 2 tours with H20 Visions Bonaire (aka Brenda) while in Bonaire. The first was a private boat trip to Klein, Bonaire with 3 snorkelling stops. The boat was in excellent condition and the snorkelling was exceptional. We had an amazing day! The second was a full day (5 hour) private island tour with 1 snorkelling stop. We told Brenda we were interested in nature and photography and she took us to the best spots for great photos. We also told her we loved turtles and we saw about 7 turtles at the snorkelling spot. I would recommend Brenda’s private tours of Bonaire and snorkelling trips without reservation!

We are on a cruise it gets there at 6 am and we must be back on the boat by noon. The 9 am time is pushing it too close for a 3 hour tour. We have 5 adults and 1 child, is there anyway we could do like an 8 or 8:30 start time?
