I had a very small elopement on Pink Beach. Casper's photos of my husband and I were ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! After shooting the ceremony, we went on a drive further south, and Casper photographed us in a few more bridal portraits. Highly recommend!!

I am an experienced land photographer who is just getting started with underwater photography. I booked a photography dive with Caspar hoping to gain a baseline technique, understand underwater camera settings and get started. Caspar selected a shore dive that was excellent for wide angle, a good starting point. He is an expert diver and photographer. He was very helpful with getting my gear into the water and during our dive, he adjusted the position of my strobes and pointed out photo worthy subjects. He gave me tips about maintaining buoyancy while managing my camera. Our session was worthwhile and I feel that I'm off to a good start. I also had a slight leakage problem with my regulator and my strobes were not firing consistently. Caspar personally took my reg to a reputable dive shop and it was repaired quickly. It worked reliably the rest of my vacation. He also figured out what was wrong with my strobes. Caspar is trustworthy, safety aware and offers excellent value for time spent. He is also an enthusiastic and kind person who seems to enjoy sharing his expertise and knowledge of Bonaire.

Casper Douma is an amazing photographer with a wealth of knowledge about Slagbaai Park. He picked us up promptly at 7:30 am and returned us at about 2 pm. It was a full day of education and adventure and it was the high point of our Bonaire vacation.

Casper's photography workshop last Saturday was totally amazing! I was even able to photograph pelicans in flight! Anyone with a penchant for photography can and must do it! A night photography workshop is next! Really looking forward to that.

Working with Casper was great. We did three different shoots last summer with a couple of goals. All were met and everyone involved loved more than one "true gem" in the sets of photos. I especially loved the scuba action shots with my wife and son, capturing a few priceless (and funny) moments. We will definitely do another shoot with Casper when we are back on Bonaire this year (2022)

It was a great way to get to know the best spots on the island! Casper knew a lot! We saw some nice beach spots I’d definitely want to go back to.

While on a dive vacation, I hired Caspar for an introductory session about how to use my new underwater camera. I'm already a skilled amateur photographer, but underwater photography is new to me and Caspar was supportive of my lofty goal. Caspar was on time, friendly and courteous. He is a good listener and I didn't feel rushed. He is very safety-aware and I felt comfortable diving with him. He obviously knows Bonaire well, both on land and underwater. He understands the habits of underwater creatures and respects them. He shared many tips about how to care for and protect my expensive underwater camera housing. He is a perfect gentleman and helped me into the water during our shore dive, since I was new at that. Before our photo dive, he showed me how to select good baseline camera settings for underwater and explained how to approach a subject and get very close to it. These are goals I'll be working on for awhile. While I am a beginner at underwater photography - which can be daunting - I left our session feeling that I knew where to start and that I had gained skills. I also had a great time. I'm planning to return to Bonaire and will arrange another photo dive session with Caspar. I'm confident that he'll introduce me to some amazing creatures and underwater scenes.

We asked Casper to help us out with our Kiwanis Christmas Photoshoot for fundraising. Without a doubt he said yes. It was a pleasure to do this project together and the photo's were absolutely beautiful! Once again thank you very much Casper! Cheers to more nice projects in the future!

This was the highlight of our chosen activities. Beginning with being on time with the pickup at the hotel, this day unfolded with attention to detail, amazing views and incredible information about flora, fauna and history. The snacks and other edibles provided were beyond expectations for this outing. Patience and kindness underscored his assistance with everything from climbing to personal photography tips and assistance. A good day is one with shared humor and we had one of the best days ever…highly recommended!

It was just 2 of us and we had a good time. Casper is very personable and friendly. The weather wasn't great that morning and Casper was willing to be flexible but luckily the weather mostly cooperated.

Casper was recommended to us by Harbour Village Bonaire Resort to take our wedding photographs. We met him and he is a very friendly Dutch man. We knew right away they chose the right photographer for the occasion. He had original ideas for the photos and they all came out great. He was very entertaining and made the photo session go by very quickly. I would recommend him for any type of photography session. All of his photos look great and he makes people and nature very beautiful. If you want any photos of you or your family on the island he is the guy!
