Good tour, crammed in a van.
The tour was good and covered a large section of the island, showing off its beauty. The tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, providing a lot of information and answering questions. On the downside, 8 people plus the tour guide were crammed into a medium size van. I shared the front seat with my wife where I had no leg room - most American couples would not fit in the space we shared. The tour did not offer pop, only water and did not stop at all the sites indicated. It also started 30 minutes late. The people in the back row of the van could not hear the tour guide most of the time while driving.

It’s the way to see the best spots!
The guide picked us up at the hotel which was extremely convenient. He was very informative about the island and history. I loved learning all about the history of Bonaire, the incredible buildings and industry.

        Great overview of Bonaire
Enjoyable road trip from one end of Bonaire to the other! Resine was an excellent, knowledgeable guide, showing us all the important landmarks and telling us the history of the island. Communication with the office about pickup was great, and appreciated.

Lovely tour with a great guide
Great tour of the entire island - We loved our tour guide Michael! He took us all over Bonaire and filled us in on facts and history. He was willing to stop anywhere we wanted a picture and helped us find the flamingos and other sites we asked to see. He got us back to the ship on time.

        Not as advertised
The tour was not as advertised. The guide was inexperienced and unfamiliar with the aspects of the tour. The vehicle’s sliding door did not open. The lunch was not as described. There was no offer or location for snorkeling. People who plan to go should know that the roads are very rough. Our guide was friendly and caring, just not qualified.

We had the best time with Renny and Arturo for the cave tour.
We had the best time! Renny and Arturo were excellent guides. We learned a lot, felt safe, and truly felt this was the highlight of our trip. We felt like old friends with the guides by the end, and actually hated to leave! The caves were incredible and swimming in them was the highlight! Please please please provide them with new and updated flashlights. Maybe some for the head? Holding a light that kept going off or flashing wasn’t the best, but they gave us theirs and we did great. They do need new ones though!

        Beach day Bonaire
The company was super accommodating and responsive to all our questions and scheduling concerns. They were easy to find when we needed them and they were incredibly timely. We didn’t have to wait or search. I would highly recommend using them. No hassle and a great experience overall

Had to Contact the Police. Stay clear. Guy is a Scam Artist
The tour operator is a scam artist. He canceled and refused to return our money. Trip advisor has done NOTHING to help us. They just keep sending our complaints back to the scam operator. We checked with the hotel and they confirmed this tour company, run by a guy named Ephraim, has a reputation for stealing money from guests. I was advised to file a complaint with the police - which I did. The police are now investigating this company as a fraudulent company that is giving the island a bad reputation. The police were very helpful even called the scumbag while I was there. He claimed to the police that Travel Advisor was holding my money. Meanwhile Travel Advisor keeps asking me how my trip was despite me telling them we never got the tour. He claims he gave us the tour. Not only should you stay clear of this operator, you should consider booking with a legit agency. Travel Advisor is not legit if you have an issue. NEVER EVER again.

        Awesome adventure and incredible guides!!
Just amazing! Our incredible guides Renny and Arturo were super knowledgeable and made us feel extremely safe and taken care of. It’s dark and hot and a little creepy inside the caves, but unbelievably awesome and 200% worth seeing! They expertly assisted our descent into, climbing around inside of, and ascent out of (with ropes and handholds and greatly appreciated hand pulling) all three caves. And they’re both lovely humans to boot - we had so much fun exploring with them. Thank you thank you to them both for making our experience on Bonaire so wonderful 🩷🩷 If I could make one suggestion it would be for better flashlights - they’re not very powerful and don’t stay lit consistently. But truly no complaints!

        Bonaire Cave Tour
Renny was our tour guide and he was fantastic! He arrived on time at the pick up location. It was just the two of us. We always felt safe going down inside the caves with Renny. The first cave was hot inside, 110 F or so, had bats in one area, a lot of stalagmites and stalactites. We didn't spend much time inside this cave but had time for a great look around. The second cave was very interesting, also with bats and stalagmites and stalactites. The third cave was amazing! We climbed down a rope, with flashlights. After a short hike there was a beautiful cool (not cold), refreshing pool of water that we snorkeled, swam, floated around and relaxed in, and looked at the formations. There were tiny shrimp and fish in the water. Renny pointed out many interesting and funny formations. Such a fun tour! Highly recommend the tour and Renny as the guide. Thank you again Renny!

We negotiated a private tour from the cruiseport cab/tour tent at Kralendijk. Fabulous!
Arrived at the Bonaire “cruisehaven” dock on the ms Rotterdam. No hurry so to avoid the rush of people with “plans” for the day. Wife and I found the cab stand offering a tour going either north or south. There was a canopy tent along the main street (kaya CFB Helmund). I think the tours were advertised as two hours $50 US. We were not interested in a canned "drive by" ride on the island. I explained that we wanted to go with a driver born and raised on the island, proud to show it to us and understand our “stop here” for photo requests. We wanted to drive along the diving coast to Goto Meer {flamingos in the wild), Then to the museum at Washington Slagbaai National Park (whale skeleton, cultural displays). To Rincon (Bonair’s oldest town) for a visit of The Cadushy Distillery and a taste of their fabulous rum. The WW II air base and a stop at the island’s highest elevation were also on our list. Also, photo “targets of opportunity” we knew would be found in the cactus landscape. After a lively discussion between the dispatcher and a driver (in Papiamentu mostly undecipherable by me) discussing extras to be charged for our requests…..the dispatcher, Felix, became our driver. Felix made sure we saw his island and heard his love for the land, people and history. I’m not sure how often he takes folks like us, but it was certainly the highlight of our cruise ports. Hundreds of flamingos at the meer, wild donkeys everywhere in the landscape. Felix was a Master of Plant varieties and uses. He coordinated the reconstruction of the museum's whale skeleton. A cave diver of wide experience and a willing teller of both the history and sagas of his homeland of ~~70 years. I know we got a long interesting tour worth every penny plus the bottle of Cadushy Rum! Go, make some memories.

This was a very fun tour and everything promised was delivered in abundance. I was picked up promptly at the appointed time by the driver and taken to the donkey sanctuary. As we traveled he explained how the donkeys came to be on the island, why they run loose, and the damage they cause to the environment. When we got to the sanctuary the rescue and care program was explained and then we drove through the main part of the sanctuary where the healthy donkeys roam freely over many acres. Many of them approach the vehicle for food, and if you bring some you are allowed to feed them. I definitely regretted deciding not to bring something for them with me. At the end we saw the pens where the senior and special needs donkeys are kept, and even saw some flamingos and tortoises being housed there due to their special needs. There is a small gift shop to help support the work with the donkeys, but there is no pressure to even go in or buy anything. Don spoke amazingly good English and was very patient in answering all of my questions, not only about the donkeys, but also about life on Bonaire. I have no negative things to say about this experience at all.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. This was our 4th vacation to Bonaire and we always stop here. I appreciate all the hard work that goes into keeping these gentle creatures safe and happy. We arrived at feeding time-what a good time we had watching the donkeys follow the food truck. My hubby and I smiled the entire trip around the sanctuary in our little pickup truck. I have no problem paying the small entrance fee and supporting the effort of the sanctuary to keep these guys safe.

We had a great tour provided by the Shekhinah team, with our driver Nigel proving to be very knowledgeable about the sanctuary. Driving through the reserve and knowing there were around 800 of the donkeys to see was such fun, especially being able to feed them. As you can see by the pictures, the donkeys are so happy, they smile!
This was an independent tour arranged prior to our P&O cruise and we were picked up at the cruise terminal. All communication was efficient, so wholeheartedly recommend it.

There is more to do on Bonaire besides diving! A visit to the Donkey Sanctuary is a must. Here, staff takes care of over 750 donkeys that have been, at one time, roaming the island. There are also flamingos, turtles and iguanas.

What’s not to love about hundreds of rescued donkeys? It was such a fantastic experience to be able to pet and feed theses babies. They take in injured or orphaned donkeys to rehab them.
It is such a good cause and you will enjoy every minute of it. There is a gift shop and bathrooms as well. You can even “adopt” a donkey.

Was a amazing experience.. First our guide was super informative. Was at the ship early. Information about the pickup was right on. The Donkey sanctuary was quite the experience.. was way bigger and more hands on. They truly do amazing work. Would add one thing to the experience and thats to stop and bring some carrots to feed the donkeys. They are so gentle.

Hi, thank you for your message. We are glad to hear that yopu enjoyed your tour. It is possible to purhcase food for the donkeys at the little shop by the enterance, but the donkeys can only be fed from the bed of a pick-up truck, as the donkeys get very enthousiastic when they see food.
