My daughter & I did this tour & our guide was Evan. It was easy to book & clear instructions where to meet. Our guide arrived with cold water and snacks (a really thoughtful touch) and an amazing knowledge of the city & it's history - showing informative pictures to help as we went along. We really enjoyed our tour & would recommend it to others.

My family and I had a great time on our Bridgetown, Barbados Walking Tour. Our guide Mr. Evan did a phenomenal job of taking us to interesting landmarks and explain the history and details of our surroundings. It was a pretty hot day when we toured, but our guide came prepared with water and snacks in a nice nap sack that we got to keep as a souvenir. Lots of historical pictures were provided along the tour, so we could see what the area looked like, during colonial times, in comparison to modern day. As we walked around, we were able to get a glimpse and understand the rich history of Bridgetown. Highly recommend bringing a good attitude, a readiness to learn, lots of questions, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, and an umbrella. It’s a great tour and you won’t regret it. Would definitely come back and do another tour with Mr. Evan.

Our tour with Debbie was very fun and informative. Debbie picks you up from your hotel and gives you a tour of various parts/towns in Barbados, including historical monuments, murals, and local “ must visit “ spots. Debbie is incredibly knowledgeable Barbadian history and culture, and answered any questions we had on tour. Debbie makes you feel comfortable and is relatable. My one feedback is that Debbie be more communicative about what is accommodated for on the tour versus which sites have an extra fee. For example, we were under the impression that the Rum Tour was accommodated, as It was listed on the list she provided of sites to choose from. That being said we ended paying extra, on top of the $125 initial price. Otherwise , the tour was absolutely amazing.

What a thorough and outstanding tour covering every province of Barbados! Since we had a larger family (with three kids - 18, 14, and 5) we split into two cars. What a great decision and Debra was an absolute encyclopedia of knowledge! Took us to a variety of different locations ranging from Gun Hill to Animal Flower Cave and also found a great place for lunch. Also very warm and welcoming tour guide. Spent almost six hours with her and time just flew. Now we can chill for the rest of our holiday knowing we saw some of the best Barbados has to offer from an amazing guide. Well done Debra!

I was the only participant, so the tour went at a comfortable pace for me and I was able to follow the story in all detail and learned a lot about the city and its rich history. Certainly it was a great way to start my day!

Our guide, Kristin (Kristian) was a lovely and learned guide. He showed us the sights with humour and fun. We learned much more than we would have had we done a self-guided tour. We loved it!

Our tour was amazing. Our tour guide (I hope I’m spelling his name right) Kristin, was so knowledgeable and seemed very passionate to preserve and pass on the heritage and history of Barbados. The headphones were great amongst the busy streets. He gave us so much great information that we would have never known.

A very polite and well spoken young man showed us around the Bridgetown area in Barbados to discuss its history. It was approximately a 2 hrs tour . He kindly supplied us with water and snacks to keep us hydrated ( free of charge) before the tour commenced. He was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the monuments and other important landmarks in the local area . I would highly recommend it if you are interested in local history.

Christen showed us the sights and history of Bridgetown. He is young but has so much information-it’s impressive! He was very engaging and entertaining. I’m really glad I did the tour as I learnt so much.

It was a joy to share this time with our host. (Evan?) He was very personable, friendly and knowledgeable. The tour gave us an in depth understanding of the formation of the Barbados nation, particularly the period before, during and after independence. We saw several important and impressive sights in the city centre and thoroughly enjoyed wandering the streets.

This tour was great for discovering more about the history of the island. We learned a lot. Our guide, Evan, was very knowledgeable and interesting. Special touches like water bottles and snacks in a bag for all guests.

This was an amazing tour and Kristin was an even better guide. We had him twice for two different tours and he didn’t disappoint! It’s evident that he’s a very knowledgeable guide and has a passion for Barbados history, and future. We especially enjoyed Kristin’s and the tour’s emphasis on the Black experience. As a Black people, it was important to hear a nuanced account of the island’s Black histories and contributions. Yes, Barbados is a majority Black country, but most of our experiences glossed over Black history other than mentioning “slavery.” Kristin made us feel respected and engage with a history that put us at the center and not along the margins. It’s in the name Chattel House. This tour and experience with Kristin enjoyable and educational.
