      Snorkeling tour
My husband and I came to Barbados for work and at the end of the week, we had a few days to just hang out. Booking El Tigre for the 5-jour catamaran snorkeling tour was great! We got to see beautiful fish and some turtles. All of the crew members were fun and friendly They made us lunch and cleaned it up afterwards! I would definitely recommend it and would do it again! Thanks for a great day!

Nice boat, good lunch, great views and snorkelling
Nice boat, good lunch, great views and snorkelling. Crew were fantastic, Winston was very friendly and made sure everyone had a good time. We managed to see a turtle and a lot of varied fish around the shipwreck.

      Brilliant,
Wow what a great trip to go on, I was nervous about snorkeling but the crew were so brilliant and helpful, they were in the sea with us all, always there to assist etc, always checking everyone was ok. Have to say one of the best boat experiences we've had.

Great all round fun and relaxing day
Great day all round , Starting from our pick up at our hotel where our driver pointed out all the points of interest, shops, bars and restaurants along the way. All the crew on the trip where very friendly and knowledgeable. Stopping off first to see the turtles and snorkel with them then sailing up the coast for another snorkelling stop on a ship wreck and coral reef. Followed by a Lovely lunch. Plenty of drinks all day and finished by a relaxing trip sightseeing along the coast.

Well Worth It - One of the Best Experiences on the Island
The crew was really great! Professional and fun. They really did a lot, there was some breakfast cakes and coffee, a hot lunch that went ALL OUT, it was soo good! Then they had some snack cakes in the afternoon. The whole time the crew makes sure the snorkelers are safe, they come out with you and make sure you're out of harms way. These guys know how to have fun and sail a catamaran!! I would 100% recommend this tour.

What a fantastic day, all the crew and the driver who picked us up from the cruise port was absolutely brilliant and couldn't do enough for us, the trip was the best we have been on, top quality drinks and food, brilliant snorkeling, el tigre 2 is lovely. Can't wait to return. Special thanks to Wayne (all day) what a fun guy.

      Unforgettable trip
Loved it from start to finish. The day was seamless with a perfect itinerary. Just the right amount of relaxation time and fabulous snorkeling spots and a mini-party on deck to conclude an amazing trip. The crew are great at what they do and we felt in very safe hands with them throughout. Food and drinks were tasty and plentiful. Thanks so much for an unforgettable experience for my family and I.

      Fantastic!!
An absolutely amazing experience. The whole family had a fantastic time. There’s plenty of room on the boat for either sitting in the sun or shade. The crew are brilliant, continuously serving drinks and they also helped my children in the water. Would definitely recommend.

      A grand day out
Great from start to finish, free drinks and a delicious lunch with a couple of snorkling stops, no turtles and was disappointed we didn’t sail right up the west coast but it did what it said in the description.

      Barbados Catamaran Trip
What a day out! From being picked up at the hotel, to snorkelling with the loggerhead turtles, watching flying fish, to an excellent Barbadian lunch on board and bottomless drinks. The staff were fantastic from start to finish, with all the snorkelling provided! The best five hours we have spent in Barbados!

      Perfect from start to finish
Wow what an amazing day from start to finish - the crew Chris , Marlin , Wayne & of course the lovely captain couldn’t do enough for us and made such a fuss of my son … the 3 stops we made were great and we had plenty of time at each one and the lunch and drinks were a plenty and delicious … atmosphere was great throughout with good vibes ,would definitely do again thanks for looking after us and for a fabulous day

An amazing way to see the beautiful waters of Barbados
We had the most amazing day on the catamaran. The weather was just perfect. The crew were welcoming, attentive, knowledgeable and great fun. We did the 5 hour trip and would definitely recommend it (it had been recommended to us). The time flew by. The only downside was that my storage on my action camera ran out!! The local pickup was very helpful too. The fish at the shipwreck site were particularly spectacular. It was the perfect way to spend the day and see the beautiful waters of Barbados.

      Canned snorkeling; not worth it
Although all the guys running the boat were wonderful, warm and friendly, (especially Marlan) and safety was adhered to (and the food good!), this was a canned experience. Thirty people were swimming to see one poor sea turtle. When we turned back to return to the boat so as to not participate in such a spectacle, we did see another turtle in its natural activity, so that was nice. But then when we went to the shipwrecks, they actually fed the fish, so it was nothing even remotely like an authentic snorkel experience. The fish were frantically eating and it was nothing like swimming in nature. There were also many boats around and the snorkeling was not even outside of Carlisle Bay. Should've researched more outfits and found something better. Not worth the money at all.

I would not recommend this trip.
I have travelled all over the Caribbean and the Mediterranean to at least 15 islands and I have never encountered such an unwillingness on the part of boating staff-especially Larry-to be flexible to a mistake In the reservation.
We made a reservation for the Catamaran snorkeling cruise.
When we arrived at the marina,we learned that through some glitch in the reservation, we were only allowed to spend 3 hours on the boat-not the full 5 hour cruise
I immediately said we would pay any difference in the fare but they steadfastly refused to be accommodating
Eventually, Larry dumped us off the boat on a beach very far north of Bridgetown as thought we were immigrants being dumped on the shore line.
We were the only ones on a boat of 38 people who were dumped off
In my view, A terrible business decision
There a lots of options for snorkeling and sailing.
Do NOT waste time and money on this cruise

Thanks for your review. Although I don’t respond often to reviews mainly because we are all so busy trying to keep our operation running as smoothly as possible, I thought it necessary to reply to this one to share all the things you conveniently left out of the review. First off, when you made your booking on Viator/Tripadvisor you selected the 3-Hour option (there was no glitch in the reservation). Probably because the 5-hour option was not available (as I know it was not available at the time you made your booking). I sent you a message with your pickup information as we knew your exact location and things work much smoother when we pick you up. Late that night you replied that you would make your own way to the boat explaining you knew where it was cause you saw it that night while in Bridgetown (although you were mistaken and had the wrong boat). In the morning after a quick correction we got that sorted and you came to our dock, checked in and boarded the catamaran. Later on during the cruise I received a call from Larry the Captain to say that your party of 5 people wanted to change to the 5-hour tour. I responded and said it would not be possible as the catering onboard was only for 31 people and there would not be enough. You replied with “we don’t eat much”. That’s not the point. We have 31 people who didn’t book the 3-hour tour and we catered for them. You booked the 3-hour tour and it doesn’t include lunch so there was no catering for your group. If we had accepted the change to satisfy you. I bet you would have been the first in the buffet line, loading up your plate knowing that there was only catering for 31 people and someone at the end of the line may not get their full meal even though they booked correctly from the start (I and the other 31 people onboard would not call that decision “A terrible business decision”). After the Captain or crew explained to you that there was no catering on board for your group and we could not accept the change to the 5-Hour tour you said you will be leaving a negative review if you couldn’t stay on for the 5-hour tour. Well don’t threaten us with reviews when the mistake is on you. That’s like booking a flight to Australia and in the middle of the flight asking the captain to go to New Zealand because you made a mistake on your booking. The threat of leaving a bad review is not going to change the fact that you booked the 3-hour tour or make the catering go from 31 to 36 people to accommodate your group. We operated the tour exactly how it operates every day. You shouldn’t be angry at us for your mistake. Sometimes we have people cancel or no show in the morning after catering has been arranged. If that was the case we would have had extra food onboard but it was not the case that day. With regards to your comment “Larry dumped us off the boat on a beach very far north of Bridgetown as thought we were immigrants being dumped on the shore line.” The 3-hour tour finishes in Holetown unless sea conditions don’t allow for the beach landing; then another location is used on those very few days. This was all explained to you before you boarded the boat and you still went ahead, so that was no surprise to you. The beach drop off is actually a highlight to some passengers, because it can reduce their travel time back to their accommodation which would have been the case for you had you not cancelled your pick up and drove to our location. Our whole team works very hard every day to deliver excellent customer service, and to have you threaten us with a bad review and then misrepresent what in fact happened merits this response.

We hired the boat for the evening from 3pm - 19:30. Taking off from Bridgetown and heading down to Holetown. We requested a change of direction from Carlisle Bay as we had previously been, they happily changed route for us. From the minute we stepped on the boat they were super friendly and welcoming. Made us feel like it was all about us having the best time, celebrating our friends birthday. We had 2 snorkel stops saw lots of fishes, turtles and a wreck. They offered jackets and support for the less confident in the water. The boat was clean and stylish. The drinks were endless, I never had a empty cup. The food was delicious. They had a full bar and everything you could need. Bluetooth for our own music. Hosts Captain Larry, Kaya and Mali were charming and courteous. Highly recommend the tour, suitable for all types, friends celebrating or a family trip.

The crew were fantastic! Maureen from Ottawa was welcoming and down to earth, Philippe was also very helpful and friendly. He had a lot of good information about our excursion and answered many questions about Barbados in general. The whole trip was very fun.
I would recommend that people have at least basic swimming abilities but if not I think it would still be enjoyable to stay on the boat. The scenery could not be beat.

    Wonderful experience! Friendly staff!
It was my sis birthday and we wanted to relax in a relatively safe environment. A small group was promised and the reviews on the cruise were encouraging. It didn’t disappoint! It was a beautiful day! Friendly cruisers ! My niece swam with the turtles and For a few hours we tried to forget the Covid madness and relaxed.. I recommend this company and their staff .

What a fantastic day out! The boat was in great condition and Winston and the crew were an absolute delight. Our glasses were constantly being refreshed and lunch was delicious. We were taken snorkelling at a couple of wrecks and then to a beach where we could swim with turtles. The whole trip was a joy

This review is in response to Robert m. both me and my wife were on the tour that day and both of us had talked to said Robert m and his family there and explained to them that there is only so much catering ordered for said tour this was explicitly explained to them even before the first snorkel stop having been on the boat both me and my wife over 28 times we know this and to have him blast Larry and the rest of the crew over what is obviously his mistake in the booking process I think is a grave injustice to what I believe is the best catamaran cruise options on the island I highly recommend this tour to anyone coming or looking to book a tour of this kind.

Great experience. There were a lot of other tourists / catamaran boats in the snorkeling areas, somewhat crowded, but the El Tigre crew made our cruise individualized, unique and unforgettable experience.
