About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- T5552JRjoycec0 contributionsBeautiful CavesThe caves were amazing. The tour to St George was canceled. We went to Hamilton and Horse Shoe Bay. The following day we took the ferry to St George and had a 2 hour walking tour instead. Worked out well.Written October 14, 2024
- KatyRegnery0 contributions5-stars: Bermuda is Juanita’s island… we’re just visiting!Juanita, Juanita, Juanita. Sometimes you just luck out with a tour guide who really, really cares about the destination, who wants you to love it as much as they do, who wants you to walk away with great memories about the place they call home. Enter Juanita Jones, a Bermuda islander who spins tales of the first settlers, shows you important historic spots off the beaten path, and takes pride in delivering a customized, comfortable and super interesting experience. We were a small group of three (an eighty-two year old, a fifty-one year old and a nineteen year old) and couldn’t have been more impressed. (That we all raved about this tour means something real!) - F3054CGjoshc0 contributionsGreat intro to Bermuda !We enjoyed our tour around Bermuda. This was great way to see the whole island in a relatively short period of time. Avoid Sundays if you can as most things are closed. (A better beach day)Written August 9, 2024
- Q81XVmariap0 contributionsGems of BermudaThe wrap around, guided tour was a perfect way to experience the highlights of Bermuda and its rich history. It was fascinating to learn of Bermuda's culture, see the beautiful beaches, and see the island from the towering lighthouse. It would be nice to spend more time in the town of St. George exploring its coble stone streets filled with artisan shop (will do on return trip). We did, however, enjoy Bermuda's famous fish sandwich for our lunch. Thank you for a memorable tour!Written July 24, 2024

- Culture5618630 contributionsPerfect weather for a lovely drive around the island. It was a beautiful spring day when we landed in Bermuda. Embarqued from our cruise ship to take a trolley tour around the island. It was very pleasant as it was such a nice day. Saw the beautiful beach areas with sparkling aqua water. We lunched at the Frog and Onion which was a very nice pub. Food was good. Then we toured the museum on the island before going back to the ship.Written May 10, 2024

- Disappointed-chap0 contributionsSURELY refund for a cancelled trip by the provider should be automatic right? Apparently not.Erm, what trip? Paid early, got confirmation and tour info via email, followed by an 'its cancelled' email, all in one download. As we were on a cruise we got them ALL onmly once in wifi range and so 2 hrs prior to 'docking' whihc wasn't great as it left us 'high and dry'. Apparently to few people to run it. A decision should have been made earlier as our trip was long, 65 nights, we're only now able to receive messages on the day, so this was a complete surprise. Now SURELY refund should be automatic right, BUT NO, I have to request.............Why? SO, now, were back, some 50 days later we're having to dok the donkey work which sems wroong since they've enjoyed having my money all this time! Would I ever had got it had I not requested? Mmmm? Maybe that's a question worth asking before booking with Bermuda Island Tours More.Written March 12, 2024
- morgan f0 contributionsA great half day island bus tour✅Juanita our guide was awesome! She made the tour fun and knew the answers to everyone’s questions. The tour was great for getting an overview of the island. I took the tour on my first day in Bermuda and used it as a way to see what the island had to offer and find beaches, towns, and restaurants that I would want to go back to and spend more time at. It was a perfect and efficient half day tour and it was exactly what I was looking for. If you are looking to get a quick run down of the island this tour is for you.Written January 15, 2024

My husband and I enjoyed this tour. It’s a great way to see a lot of the island (by bus) and the cave tour was very cool. We loved visiting Horseshoe beach and stopping in Hamilton to shop/eat. You only get one hour in Hamilton which isn’t much time to shop and get a full meal but there’s also a restaurant at the beach if you only want to shop in Hamilton.
The only difficulty we had was finding the tour group at the dockyard that morning. We stayed at a hotel and came to the dockyard by Ferry. The meeting spot is very close to the cruise ships- just fyi for anyone doing the tour that isn’t coming from a cruise ship.

Its a 30 minute guided tour. Cave was nice, however there is a second separate cave that costs additional money to enter and requires a different entrance time . There was a gift shop, restrooms and separate small cafe on the premises. The fish sandwich was recommended. Andre, our driver was excellent and knowledgeable.

Crystal caves was on my must-visit list and it didn't disappoint. I decided to tour both the fantasy & crystal caves and although it was an experience by the end of the tours, I would have been happy with just touring the crystal cave. The fantasy caves was a smaller scale of the crystal cave. The formation of the crystals was amazing and the number of years it takes the formation to collect to get to a certain size is incredible. One thing to remember when your guide tells you to be careful of hanging crystals when walking LISTEN. One person in our group didn't pay attention and get a pretty nasty cut on her head. If you read this post and visit, I would like to hear your thoughts.
After the tour, you can walk to the swizzle inn and grab a bite. Check out my review on the swizzle inn, to be posted soon.

Juanita is a gem! She drove us to many spots, telling us all about the history of the island and answering questions from our group. We were a larger group, so we booked a private tour with her for our 1st day in Bermuda. The itinerary was clear, and she was great at giving recommendations at the stops and the exact times we needed to be back in the van. Our group was unorganized and indecisive, so having her strong guidance was incredibly helpful to eliminate confusion and disagreements. Her tour made it our best day on the island!

The cave and beach were the highlight of the trip. The driver/owner served as a great guide while transporting us throughout the day and the drive from one end to next served as a scenic drive in itself. The beach has umbrella’s and chairs for rent which was very convenient. The transport had AC as well.

Juanita was very accommodating of the weather during our time in Bermuda. Instead of doing the beach visit the first day while it was raining, she offered, free of charge, to have another driver take us to the beach the next day as the weather was better. Furthermore, she offered us ferry tokens to stay in Hamilton for longer and to be able to go back to the cruise port whenever we wanted with the local ferry. A text is sent out the day before to confirm your attendance and meeting time. Juanita and Tony, the driver for the next day for the beach, were very informative and entertaining with the commentary on the bus ride.

We liked the experience we had at Crystal Caves! It was pretty and interesting, although the group was ridiculously large in a very small area. In fact it was SO crowded that we could barely see anything, however pleasant and knowledgeable the Guide was. The cave showed extensive signs of damage, probably by long-ago souvenir seekers who broke off several stalactites. We’re still glad we went, but wouldn’t do it again.

So glad you enjoyed our Crystal Cave tour with our very professional tour guide. Yes, I will agree with you, Bermuda is very expensive and might have caught you by surprise, especially if this is your first time visiting.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. We didn’t book ahead as it was off season but we didn’t have to wait and got straight onto a tour. Bought the combination ticket for both Caves but honestly, what you see in both is very similar. The Fantasy Cave is a hugely steep descent and therefore ascent so not for the faint hearted but they don’t rush you. Our group was not full so I think in high season, may also be a little claustrophobic for some. We loved the Crystal Cave which we did first and would have been happy to just see that one. It is an option to just buy one ticket and so my personal recommendation would be for the Crystal Cave if that’s all you have time for or want to spend.

Beach was absolutely gorgeous - we needed more time there so we went back the next day via taxi. Caves were amazing to see, and the guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. Hamilton was just so-so. We couldn’t find any good quick dining options and the shops mainly had overpriced touristy souvenirs. Could have done without going there

I will be with NCL at Royal Naval Dockyard. Is the meetup location for this excursion within walking distance? If not, how would you recommend getting there?
Written January 27, 2024
Yes, they will have someone waiting when you get off he ship. The bus is right there as well. Enjoy, this is a great excursion, but does require you being able to walk down the ramp and steps to access the caves, and then walk back up the steps and ramp to get out.

Hello, I have two questions:
Are we allowed to swim in either cave?
I have 9 people in my party. Can the transportation cover all of those people or would we have to travel in 2 separate cars?
Written March 18, 2023
Our ship arrives at 10:30am on Nov. 4. What time you the tour start and would pick-up & drop off be at the pier?
Written August 27, 2019
Our ship sails at 5pm. Assuming 6.5 hrs, leaving at 9:30am, are we safe with that departure?
Written August 2, 2019
No don't take any chance when we were there we got a delay in the transport was really happy I didn't take it on sail day.
Written August 7, 2019
How much time is spent at each stop along the tour? Can you please provide a schedule?
Written July 16, 2019
Arriving on Carnival Cruiseline. Is pickup close to where ship docks?

Written July 15, 2019
hi, how many floors generally we can compare with when we need to get to the Crystal caves, we have somebody in the party who is low athletic, just want to make sure that she is up to that adventure. thank you.
Written June 27, 2019
I would not say it a hard or high level activity, but do take in consideration there is an un paved path to get to the caves and narrow path and uneven step inside the caves.
Written July 4, 2019
This nay be a dumb question:
We are in port from 8a-4pm.
This shows availability only at 2:30 and its a 6.5hr excursion. Therefore, is it safe to say it isn’t an appropriate option?
Written May 16, 2019
Just take a cab to crystal caves and see them and walk across street tonswizzle in for snack and drink. Go back to ship and shop, so you don’t cut it close last minute to get back to cruise ship
