- heppcat0 contributionsFun excursion/perfect lengthNice boat ride to snorkeling area. Plenty of time to spend in the water snorkeling or swimming. Kids enjoyed paddle boarding with 3 on one board (age 8, 10, and 14). Also enjoyed jumping into water from top deck. Crew informative and had eyes on swimmers/snorkelers at all times. Get off the boat in water over your head but can quickly swim to shallow water. Boat moves around on anchor and can be tricky to get back to the ladder. But crew has life ring tied to a rope that they can toss to you and pull you into them boat. Ladder at rear of the boat goes deep enough into the water for an easy climb onto the boat.Written July 11, 2024
- Shannon5560 contributionsRelaxing and Informative Kayak TourThe tour was great - very informative. My kids learned a lot and were engaged in the learning. The kayaking was amazing. Beautiful water, relaxing pace, amazing views of the island and water. Captain and his mate were easygoing but kept everyone together, which set a chill tone for the entire trip.Written July 11, 2024

The tour was moderately difficult (I'm a beginner biker) but enjoyable. Our tour guide, Hannah, was super informative and provided with some interesting facts about Bermuda. We stopped by several beautiful places where without the tour, we would've not known about it.

My wife and I booked this trip through our NCL excursion desk. We are frequent cruisers and have done just about all the standards but this was our first time to Bermuda so we wanted to get a little feel of the island. An easy boat ride with Spencer and Rhys to the beach and then a short walk to the bike staging area started the day. The trail was easy most of the way with only a couple of hills to manage. Never broke a sweat. The guides were excellent at letting us go at our own pace and making sure we saw the various sights along the way. Conner and Allie led the way and were very engaging with our typical tourist questions about living in such a beautiful place. A quick stop at the beach finished off the tour perfectly. This is one tour I would definitely do again.

My wife and I rode on the tour on a Saturday morning with a 9:00am start. As we were staying in Hamilton, and the Ferry does not start for the day until 9:00am, we had to take a taxi to the Dockyard. If we were to do it again, we would either schedule the afternoon ride, or go on a different day, so we could take the Ferry ($4.50 per person) vs a Taxi ($42). The tour guides were fun, informative and friendly, Sy and Conner - thank you! We were not expecting mountain bikes, and the ten minutes of downhill on dirt were not fun for us, but we managed and really enjoyed the views in the areas where we were taken.

We had a wonderful bike ride & our tour guide Ray was so informative & pleasant. We made a few stops along the way that required short walks.
Only problem we faced on arrival was besides my husband & I, two other couples all agreed we had signed up for an E-bike tour and these were not E-bikes. Luckily the trail was flat so we had no problem riding but double check your booking.

The guides and the driver were great. Lots of info. the itinerary should be tweaked a bit.
The mountain bikes were good even though my rear shifter cable was broken so i only had a 3 speed, the trail was a good combination with both dirt and blacktop portions. Most of the grade had gradual changes so it felt like there was plenty of down hill runs in both directions. I only had to walk my bike once (couldn't shift down low enough with my 3 speed). the hiking part was good and well worth it once we got to the fort. the beach portion was a waste and probably a surprise to everyone on the tour since no one had on a bathing suit or towels and everyone except for 2 guys just spent the time chatting on the cement pier. I would rather spend that time on the bikes maybe going a little further down the trail or exploring something else. it felt as if the tour actually ended when we were dropped off at the beach and just left there to wait for the bus to take us back.

The start of the tour included a great boat ride from the pier at the Royal Dockyard from our cruise ship. Informative and friendly staff. The biking was a little tougher than expected, hike to vantage point might be too much for novice riders or walkers.
Boat ride back to cruise port with sights pointed out along with rum punch and water very appreciated.

What a funtastic day today in Bermuda ❤️🙏this is the second time I have done this tour in Bermuda & the second time I loved it 💕my company brings us to Bermuda every five years & I always do this bike tour and love it every time I go 👋👋our tour starts at on a beautiful boat where we head out into the ocean - giving us breathtaking tours of Bermuda .. we stay at the fairmont inn and the boat allows us to see our resort from the water 💦 just lovely .., after 30 minutes on the boat we head into a small lagoon where we depart the boat up a beautiful wooden walkway to pick up our bikes .. all of the guides we had at Fantasea were funny , knowledgeable and always looked out for us ... after getting our bikes and helmets fitted to us - we had a brief safety meeting and off we went.. such a beautiful bike path taking us along the coast line - up and down paved Bermuda train railway ... we got odd at several spots to sightsee one of the worlds oldest draw bridges - a lot of homegrown vegetation here in Bermuda and out guides Christian , Reese & Lawson were fantastic guides .. jade was our boat guide and all of the fantasea guides were soo much fun ❤️🙏I highly recommend this company and thus trip .. we did hike up the hill to visit a beautiful old fort .. one of the most scenic pictures of the island 🌴

My husband and I had originally signed up to do the Bermuda SNUBA and Snorkel Park Adventure, but it was cancelled due to the weather. We were actually a bit relieved because I booked it before leaving home and knew nothing of Bermuda; we arrived to realize it was a bit chillier than we had expected. We opted for a bike tour in lieu of snorkeling. Jade took the two us out for a tour of the old railway line and we had a blast. Jade is very personable and we learned so much about the island during the tour. It was great to also hear her personal accounts and stories from her grandmother, which really added to the excursion. The bike tour will be one of my favorite memories from my first trip to Bermuda.

Enjoyable bike tour. The guides were flexible and considerate of everyone’s experience. The weather didn’t fully cooperate, but it was still a good tour with friendly folks.

if I am traveling with my husband (who is a very experienced bike rider) and at best I am a casual bike rider - if I take this excursion can I "cry uncle" if it becomes too challenging and just walk the rest of the way with my bike? thanks.
Written July 15, 2019
You will be fine honestly. There was only about ten minutes where my wife wanted to jump off and walk (and she could have but she pushed through). The biggest issues was not knowing how to ride a mountain bike (changing gears), but once she got the hang of it, she was fine.
