GREAT KAYAK RENTAL TO SEA GLASS ISLAND! PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!
We were looking to go to sea glass island and not go with a tour. I emailed Clear kayak prior to arriving in Aruba and discussed a 2 person kayak for 3 hrs. There was no problem! The owner communicated through WhatsApp with me when we arrived. He answered all of my questions and met us at Zeerovers and then we followed him to launch the kayak! He then met us at the launch area to retrieve the kayak! Such a wonderful time we had! Do not hesitate to book a private kayak and go out on your own m. If you’re worried to go alone, book one of his tours! Great memories were made today!

      Avoid this company!!
This expensive tour was knowingly misrepresented. (Ad copy in photos.) There were no "amazing views," "vibrant coral reefs" or fish let alone "neon hued" ones. While you can't guarantee fish will show up, coral reefs stay where they are. There was never an intention of actually "gliding over vibrant beds of coral." I began to wonder why we were kayaking in an area of swimmers and tour party boats (along with their blaring music to create atmosphere) and asked our guide what we were doing in the one of the most popular areas of Aruba looking for fish. He said the tour was actually a "sunset tour," not a nature tour. That was not what was advertised. We were completely misled. I booked this to see the "underwater world." Why even bother with crystal bottom boats? That was just a way to help sell the lie about the wonders that awaited. The lights were a couple square boxes thrown in the boat that barely made a difference - not that it mattered. We were the only people on the tour and felt sorry for the guides. Not only did we pay $160, we gave an extremely healthy tip because we aren't the kind of jerks the owner of this company is.

      Best guide ever (JD)!
Ask for JD if he's available. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. He took great pictures of my wife and I with his iPhone and mailed them to me the next day. We may be back with friends in 6 months and will likely repeat this if we do.

      JD was awesome!!
JD from Clear Kayak was AWESOME on our Honeymoon Night-time Kayak Tour! I had no problem keeping up with him but he still took the time to show us all of cool sights and move a comfortable pace, nevermind the amazing photos he took of us along the way! The sunset during the kayaking was also beautiful. The kayaking was fun but JD was what made the trip unforgettable! I highly recommend Clear Kayak and especially JD!!

Our night glass kayak tour was not as described. We arrived 5-10 min late due to the location in the app not being the correct location (not our fault). Upon arrival, we were told that there was another party that was scheduled and they hadn't arrived yet. After waiting a while, they decided we could go ahead without the other party. The guides were friendly. We started kayaking out along the shore and after a while, my son, who was in a kayak with one of the guides needed to go to shore due to their kayak having a hole and taking on water. The guide said he was aware of this hole but it would be ok. The other 4 of us sat in the water while they tried to plug up the hole. Not very safe. After they got the hole fixed, they provided a square light and told us we were headed back. There was no explanation of what to do with the light or where we should be trying to see fish. Our tour was very disappointing and was not the description or duration listed for the tour. I did request a partial refund (50% refund) since our experience did not match the description of the tour, plus they put my son in a kayak with a hole!! and the refund was denied. TripAdvisor's response from the business was 'As per the tour operator that you arrived at 6:00 and was not yet ready to do the tour that's why it departed 6:30. They mentioned that the tour can not stay too late on the water because of the security.' I responded back to TripAdvisor 'That is a lie. The GPS spot, through the trip advisor app did not take us to the correct location. We were 5-10 mins late AT MOST and they weren't ready to go out and were still waiting on another party. Also, the listing says it is 2 hours, it was not 2 hours even though we arrived a few mins late. Regardless, the kayaks were not safe, and us kayaking down and back with no direction about seeing fish at night with lights does not match the description.' TripAdvisor basically responded back they reviewed the information and no refund. Very disappointed with TripAdvisor as well.

      Fun kayaking experience!
We had a great time on this tour. The guys were very nice and helpful. The view of the sunset was beautiful. We even had fish jump into the kayak after dark...it was fun!

      Night time kayak trip
We did the night clear kayak tour. They offered hotel pickup and drop off for $40 cash. The trip is from a fairly remote beach in a residential area so trying to get a taxi might be challenging so I definitely recommend the transfer service. There was only one other couple and two guides. We kayaked about a mile to a partially submerged wreck. There were lots of fish to see under the kayak. Then LED lights were placed in our kayak and we returned to the starting point. It was a beautiful night and there were some small fish attracted to the light. The only downside was that I got nauseous from the swells and looking down so I recommend if you are prone to seasickness that you take some medication before.

      Amazing family activity
I did this with my entire family and it was great! There was a lot of fish and some even jumped into our kayak! I definitely recommend this. The sky at night was beautiful, too.

      Loved evening kayaking!
Zenon was a great tour guide! The kayaking was so peaceful and the scenery was beautiful. My boyfriend and I were lucky to be the only two on the tour that night! We were able to learn so much about the Island through conversation with Zenon. Thank you!!

      Not quite as advertised
Our family went on the night tour expecting to see fish, as noted in the description. During the entire two hour trip, we saw one group of fish that looked like minnows, which lasted for about five minutes. At the end of the trip, a guide was asked about the lack of fish and he stated the recent rain had affected it. So, perhaps we were just unlucky but it was strange no one brought it up. This trip was great exercise and a fun new way to kayak and see the sunset. You should expect to be paddling for the majority of the trip. We did not get any form of guided tour as in the description, the guides did not even introduce themselves. We were not offered any fruit or water as stated. We made the best of it so I would not say we were sorry we did it, just not as expected.

      Glass bottom kayaking tour
This was a great kayaking experience off of Arashi beach! My husband and I enjoyed the water as well as the interesting information provided to us during the tour. Seeing the clear water and sunset was quite the vision. I definitely recommend this tour.

      AMAZING
My boyfriend and I had a blast. We are considered beginners at Kayaking but Luis made us feel very comfortable. It was only about an hour but I had a blast and will definitely come back and recommend.

      Informative Kayak tour
Informative tour guides and spoke about the mangroves and the animals that lived their. Furthermore, amazing and friendly people, shoutout to Egbert, Ben and Alexander the tour guides. Benjamin made us hold some sea urchines, Alexander told us how the cocolishi is a delicacy of Aruba and Egbert was the story teller!

A unique and beautiful experience (Day tour)
The day tour is very instructive and interesting! The kayaking was super fun and our guides took us to some beautiful spots. You get to learn all about mangroves and how important they are for the environment with some surprising facts. This is the kind of touristic activity you want to partake in because you discover new spots and at the same time become aware of the importance of the beautiful nature that surrounds you. Definitely a unique way to experience Aruba's beauty with people that are passionate about what they do <3

OK so the the glass bottom part of the trip is actually not too effective but aside from that this trip is a lot of fun. My wife and I have a bit of flat water kayak experience but being out on the open water is very different! However our two young guides gave us very clear instructions and made sure we were always in the correct part of the water to ensure we were riding the waves at the right time and steering away from the waves when we needed to. I can't remember the names of the two guides but they were both exceptionally friendly, fun to converse. They were knowledgeable young men and a credit to the tour company.

The trip starts at Mangel Halton and the guides then take you in a vehicle a couple of miles down the road to launch the kayaks. You then follow the waves down the coast eventually landing back at the meeting point. In all we were probably on the water for just under 90 minutes which was a good length of time.

Animal wise, we saw Bob the pelican out on the trip, some giant sea turtles and a few smaller fish. You can't help but enjoy kayaking in such a beautiful location. I highly recommend this trip, not so much for the glass bottom element but more for the thrill of being out on the open ocean and the opportunity to see Aruba from another view point.

We thoroughly enjoyed our morning kayaking trip with this company. They were responsive in advance of our outing and met us on time at the start point in Mangel Halto. The two young men who accompanied us (JT? and Rio) were both competent and relaxed in Aruban style! My husband and I were in one kayak, and were joined by another couple and the guides in two other kayaks. We appreciated that we didn’t have to all stay together, but the guides were always watching and advising if we went too far out into the sea. The colors of the water changed as we paddled and it was a treat to see the variety. We paddled with the current, so it wasn’t strenuous, but we played around, paddling against the current and then getting a ride! We pulled off into a cove and looked at the jellyfish and shells on the sea floor. They told us some of the history of the area, including the importance of the mangroves for protecting the island ecosystem.

As promised, our guides treated us to nice fruit, iced tea and water after the paddle and transported us back at the place where we started. We’re glad we did it!

My husband & I went on this trip today and we had a great time! The tour offers transportation to the launch site, but we didn't know that and we took a taxi there. The two young men that guided the tour were fantastic! They were very friendly and took lots of pictures of everyone and airdropped them to us all at the end (for free btw). It was a very fun little trip and everyone, 8 of us total, seemed to really enjoy themselves. I was very impressed with these two young men and they were so kind to actually drive me & my husband back to our resort, which was pretty far. They don't ask for tips like some tour guides do, but I STRONGLY suggest that everyone tips these guys. It's a lot of hard work loading and unloading all of those kayaks and they put forth a lot of effort educating everyone about the mangroves and taking pictures and getting to know everyone on a one on one basis. They were honestly the two best tour guides that we've ever had, hands down! I think I'm going to spell the one young man's name wrong, but it was Zunyek Lee & the other young man was named Jeandrick - both outstanding!!!

The owner, who's name started with a Z (sorry I can't remember) is also very nice. the tour ended with refreshment s & fruit. Please note, there is no bathroom at the final destination, but I believe there is a bathroom located near the launch site. After the tour the owner dropped off four people at their hotels and Zunyek & Jeandrick dropped off another couple back at the launch site where they parked their car and then drove me & my husband all the way back to our resort. Great tour, fantastic people - I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone visiting Aruba!

This is a waste of time, very unprofessional, the tour was led by a 17 year old who should have been in school. To start the kayak is not a glass bottom boat, it is plexiglass and very scratched so you cannot view anything. When we met the "guide" he didn't even look to see that we were the ones scheduled for the tour nor did we have to sign a waiver. We got into an old pick-up truck and we're taken to a site to start the tour, which didn't have working seat belts. We saw the sea turtles but then after that the guide was on the phone constantly, I think trying to figure out where to go next. We sat in the boat for long periods wondering why we were not going anywhere. The trip was supposed to last 60-90 min bet we were out for less than 60 min and much of the time was spent just sitting and not paddling. Don't waste your money.

The tour guides, JD and Lee, were very nice. We were disappointed in the tour. We arrived at the meeting point, Mangel Halto at 8:45 as requested, and no one was there. The guides arrived around 9, a single person arrived next, and we waited for a group of 7 to arrive. We then needed to get everyone in the guides trucks to drive to another beach to get the kayaks. The on line site states a glass bottom boat will take you to the kayaks; this did not happen. By the time we got the kayaks on the water it was 9:30. The water was beautiful, but as others stated, the floors of the kayaks are pretty cloudy that you can't see much. We did stop at a cove and saw jellyfish, that was pretty much the only sea life we saw. We continued back to Mangel Halto and were done by 10:30. Defintely not a 2 hour tour and we did not go in the Mangrove Forest. (We have previously done this in Key West and this was not even comparable.) Disappointed overall. As a note, the fresh fruit at the end was cut up apples and oranges in a plastic container that they passed around. not a great idea to be sharing food that everyone is touching. The kayaking itself was fun, the water was beautiful, but the overall description does not match the outing.

Had a lovely time. My only complaint is that it was too short! Lee and JD were very kind and easy going. We didn't get to go into the Mangrove Forest because of mosquitos, so that was disappointing. However the water was stunning. Didn't see much sea wildlife, but I enjoyed being on the water. The boats felt sturdy and comfortable. Life jackets were supplied. I would recommend this experience to anyone who just wants a short and pleasant kayak on the the beautiful sea. Thanks Lee and JD!

Our family of four had a great experience with this company, and their tours are perfect for those who enjoy a little physical activity on their vacation. We have moderate experience with kayaking, and did fine on the day-time tour. WARNING: it is not a relaxing trip, per se, and anyone who knows the difference between kayaking in the ocean and kayaking on a calm lake should understand why. JD and Lee were awesome guides. They maneuvered us into the mangroves, took us ashore to explore the abandoned nightclub, and fished jellyfish from the water for us to hold. When we got back, we relaxed, drank tea and water, and ate delicious fresh fruit. The boys were even so kind as to drop us off at a nearby restaurant for lunch so we wouldn't have to call a taxi. Fantastic experience.

An on time Hotel pickup with owner Zenon began an informative 30 minute drive to the put-in beach. Clear instructions by guide Louis got us on the water in minutes. The morning tour is about an hour and a half of paddling close to shore, with wave and current usually at your back. Beautiful coral beneath clear bottomed kayak, and few fish. Highlight was a ,pull-through a mangrove tunnel by Louis, probably the best educated Guide you’ll ever have. Drinks and fruit at the end. Best activity of the week in Aruba

Awesome experience getting to kayak on the ocean and fight through some tough waves with our guide Lee. He was extremely professional and helped us get through a windy day on the kayaks while providing a great tour. Got to learn a lot about not only the forest but also many other things about Aruba thanks to our Guide. JD was great as well and we had on time pickup service and they helped us get a taxi after. Water, Iced Tea and apples and oranges were provided too. Shoutout to Lee and JD for a great tour.

The kayak were very stable and it was a new experience with the clear bottom.
We wore life jackets for safety and the tour guides, Lee, JD & Richard, were excellent, explaining the history of the mangrove portion of the island.
We were able to handle & touch the non poisonous jelly fish.
The time on the water was perfect so we could enjoy the rest of the day.
