The Jeep Safari tour is DEFINITELY the way to see parts of the island that are going to be difficult to get to on your own - the Jeep Safari took us through the Arikok Park in a way I do not recommend you attempt in a car, it'll bang you up! Be prepared to get 'dusty' (and I'd suggest not bringing a valuable bag or backup).
If you're looking for a fairly low priced tour of the island, I definitely recommend ; our tour guide Jason is an Aruba native and shared much interesting and educational information about the island.
Just be prepared - the site says that the visit to the Natural Pool is not guaranteed, and please believe it. As unbelievably windy as it was when I visited Aruba (in May), it made a swim in the natural pool dangerous and off limits. It's not anybody's fault. But if you're interested in this tour primarily for a dip in the Natural Pool, depending on the time of year there may be a very high chance it just won't happen. We were taken to a beach for a little time in the water instead.
Would still recommend ABC Tours, may try a UTV tour next time.

We recently went on the Natural Pool and Indian Cave Jeep Safari, and had the time of our lives. Big G was our guide, and he certainly lived up the title, sharing all sorts of interesting information about the sights we were seeing and the greater context behind the island. The ride was bumpy, but we were definitely in capable hands, and every stop along the way was filled with breathtaking views of the Aruban countryside. I would definitely recommend booking a tour with ABC - one that includes (an incredibly delicious) lunch if you can!

My wife and I booked this tour as part of our honeymoon experience in Aruba. Donny was our driver, and he picked us up from our hotel with a big enthusiastic smile on his face. He expertly navigated us around the island and through Arikok national park, and the whole time he was cracking jokes and making the insanely bumpy ride very enjoyable. Boss Lady and Rayan were the other two tour guides, and together they made the trip so much fun and educational. 10/10 would recommend this trip and ABC Tours to anyone traveling to Aruba. You are in for a great trip if you get Donny, Boss Lady, or Rayan as a tour guide! We are definitely coming back, and looking forward to seeing our tour guides again!! Thank you ABC Tours Aruba!!!!!

This was certainly one of the best tours I have done in all of those years of traveling. Andrew was the tour guide (and by the way - if your tour isn't with Andrew - you should probably not be going :) ) and he was incredible - extremely patient in explaining the whole itinerary, worked hard in getting the most of all stops and in making the afternoon as pleasant as possible. The tour group was nice and friendly, making the adventure even more funny. We've got to know the most famous landmarks in Aruba and enjoyed breath taking views of this beautiful island.

My boyfriend booked the natural pool and indian cave Jeep Safari tour with Donny and Gabe and as our drivers and guides. They drove each Jeep expertly through the Arikok National Park, which was rocky and hilly, and I'm not sure I would have felt safe exploring it on our own. Plus most of the rental car companies void the rental car agreements by going into the park.
Donny had tons of energy and kept both ourJeeps excited throughout the tour. While Gabe answered my boyfriend's many questions we've had building during our 2 month stay on the island.
We took the early tour which gave us access to the Conchi pool with very few people, if you can, we recommend taking the early tour. We were given snorkel gear and were able to see many different types of fish. Afterward, we went to the Fontein cave then had a little surprise after the cave.
Then after the tour we finished with a delicious lunch and Yellbean was our waitress. The food was pretty good, at the end, they served a piece of cake to celebrate my birthday.

Tony was our driver and was full of personality and energy which helped make this tour super exciting and fun. We are a family of five with two kids ages 11 and 15. Everyone left happy and feeling so glad that we did this tour. Tony went above and beyond expectations and even pulled over and picked berries off of a bush to show us the fruit that grows here in Aruba. The tour was informative, organized, and thrilling. I would recommend taking Dramamine if you get motion sickness easily. I would also recommend you wear tennis shoes and bring some water shoes to wear when you get down in the natural pool. Super glad we did this tour or we would have missed out on seeing and learning about the most amazing areas in Aruba. The lunch they serve afterwards was very tasty. Would highly highly recommend this tour for families.

My wife and I had a fantastic morning with Toni, Big G, Darvo, the Lady Driver (I’m so sorry I can’t remember your name! You did a fantastic job!). We were in a Jeep with Toni, who was so much fun and so knowledgeable about Aruba’s history and current events. With pride and joy, Toni answered all of our questions about Papiamento, decolonizing Aruba, educational opportunities, and many other topics. As members of the LGBTQ+ community, Toni made us feel genuinely welcomed, too!
Arikok National Park is amazing and we highly recommend spending time there as part of any visit to Aruba. The desert scenery against the open ocean is stunning. If you’re not used to off-road driving, this is the best way to experience the landscape and have fun.
If you’re not super active or outdoorsy, the walk to and from the natural pool could be a little bit strenuous. Make sure you wear good shoes, drinks lots of water, and go at your own pace. For the natural pool, it could be helpful to wear some kind of show or sandal that gives you grip on the rocks. Barefoot was a bit painful but ultimate worth it because the natural pool and coast are so beautiful.
The entire experience with ABC was great for us! We hope to return on a future visit and Toni will be a captain and not only a driver!

I went on this tour on 6/5 and we had the best time. We originally planned on renting a 4WD and exploring the national park ourselves but ended up renting a sedan and doing this tour instead which was absolutely the best decision (and more cost effective). Tony and Jason were our tour guides and they did an amazing job at making the tour fun and making us feel welcome on the island. It is always great to talk with locals and they were exceptionally knowledgeable on the history and culture of Aruba. You can immediately tell that they have a great admiration and respect of their home and they are certainly stewards in taking care of the land. In fact, they were such good tour guides that we even increased the tip we had previously agreed on because we felt they deserved it.
A lunch is built into the price of the tour and unlike many excursions where you might get something basic in a paper bag, our lunch was a full plate of food served in their restaurant attached to the office. This was a surprise and a huge bonus. I easily would have paid $20 for the food and service elsewhere. Our server was named Jellybean and she was amazing, she made sure we got what we needed quickly and frequently checked to see if we needed anything.
This tour has changed my do-it-yourself attitude and I will certainly be signing up for a tour anytime I visit a new culture.

This was genuinely such a fun experience for all! You get to see all of Aruba and learn about each part of the island. Uncle Johnny is so passionate about his tours and wants to make the experience as fun as possible. He goes above and beyond! He even added more stops after hearing our interest when he was telling our group about the island. The other tour guides Suri and Curtis are phenomenal as well and so funny! It is a bumpy ride but not too bad. Our group consisted of my parents (in their 50s), myself and my best friend (in our mid 20s), and my sister and her boyfriend (18 yrs old) — we all loved this tour. Also, you get to choose lunch on top of the experience, which I felt made it a great deal. Our group got the grouper and barbecue chicken. Both were sooooo good but I personally thought the grouper was a little better. The fish in Aruba all tastes so fresh and flavorful. My biggest tip of advice would be to wear water shoes! If not you can probably get away with sandals. I wore sneakers which was okay but it was not as great when you left the natural pool. Another tip - at lunch get the Aruba Ariba drink. It is $10 and very strong but has a natural peach flavor and you barely taste any alcohol! Overall, a 12/10 experience! You have to book this tour if you are in Aruba!!!

Our tour guides Sunshine (captain) and Ryan were outstanding, 5 star level. Our group of 4 went on the half day island tour which took us to one of the national parks. Their offroad vehicles are well outfitted and maintained. Our high energy, highly engaged tour guides were incredibly knowledgeable of Aruba's pre-colonial history, the local flora and fauna, and the island's culture, economy, etc. We rode with Ryan, who was a skillful driver and very friendly. Ryan's knowledgeable narration as we viewed the breathtaking landscape of the island really made the experience enriching. Special note: one of our party got veey car sick half way through. Ryan and Sunshine not only radioed for help, they made sure she was driven safely back to our hotel. They made it an exceptional experience.

Hi there, the tour group is ABC tours in Aruba. It is a guided trip in an awesome jeep that the tour guide drives. They have 1/2 and full day trips. One of the best tours I've ever been on.

Is there transportation available from the port? Also, I noticed there are different departure times, what time is the updated departure time? I ask because my ship does not get to the port until 9.

Contact ABC tours, they may be able to answer your questions. They may have an afternoon tour. It’s worth pursuing!

Hello, I was interested in some island Jeep tours in Aruba and i see that it gives warnings for people with bad backs or certain heart and health conditions. I was wondering if this means that it is because the ride is really rough or it is the activities themselves? I am traveling with my 11 year old daughter and parents that are in their mid- late 60s, so I am trying to gage if this will be a comfortable excursion for them. Maybe they will be avoiding doing cliff jumps or something like that, but I wonder if the ride itself will be too rough. Please advise

Hello, the ride was definitely bumpy. I didn't have any issues myself, but I did hear one person on the excursion say that they were nauseous from the ride. I did notice that the guides were very attuned to anyone who might have an issue on the hikes and activities that we did and they took care of older participants. No one was forced to do anything that they did not feel comfortable doing.

The vehicles we used were on a tough Toyota SUV chassis with 4 wheel drive. The back is open with two long benches facing each other. I would guess it would hold 10 guests pretty comfortably. We had six guests in ours with plenty of room. You do get pitched around a little bit, but nothing scary. There are plenty af rails/overhead bars to hold onto. The paved roads are good and then you get on dirt roads in the desert in the national park.
We have 4 adults and 2 kids in our group. The kids are age 3.5 and 5.5. Will both kids be allowed? Also, how much is the ticket for the kids? Thank you!
We have this booked for October 20th 830 am. We have covid testing scheduled at our resort at 140 pm. Will we get back in time

I would not book a field trip the same day as a covid test, unless you can get the covid test out of the way first given circumstances may be outside of your control. They provided lunch and our trip ended about a half hour later than expected, but we took our time and enjoyed the food.
