      Not Dependable
Round trip ticket purchased and DePalm gave us wrong time for pick-up to airport. We arrived at the time they told us, 10:15 am, but later when they did not show told us it was supposed to be 11:15 am. We decided to take a taxi to the airport since they were late showing up at 11:15am. Not dependable.

      What a thrill!!
Did the UTV tour to the natural pool! It was equal parts amazing and terrifying! Definitely only recommend for the adventurous and athletic type! Alex our guide was a true gem of a human. Really enjoyed him.

Highly recommend UTV tour with Alex
Great UTV trip along the north east coast of Aruba. Alex was great, as was Sergio. Even though it was windy and that kept us from snorkeling the Natural pool, they took us to a beach to snorkel instead. Would highly recommend the tour!

      Nice
Nice, but nothing much except watching sunset and enjoying some good drinks included in price. It is still worth as boat is nice, too.

      Fun Half-Day with Jeyson!
Upon arrival to pick us up at our hotel, Jeyson’s energy and enthusiasm was evident. He was consistently informative throughout the excursion and engaged with everyone on the tour by assisting with photo taking, answering questions, filling our water bottles with cold water, etc. When we arrived at the entrance to the natural pool, the pool was closed for swimming due to rough surf. However, we were still able to drive to the pool to take pictures and were able to walk down the trail way to the pool. Jeyson seemed genuinely sorry that we were unable to swim/snorkel at the natural pool and compensated by taking us to a mangrove beach past the airport to swim. The water was too murky for snorkeling but it was still nice to get in the water to cool off. I highly recommend this tour (half day - not full day), book online for an additional discount, and request Jeyson if possible.

Seeing an iconic shipwreck up close!
Seeing the reef and the Antillas wreck was truly fascinating - Angie was a true delight as a tour guide, alternating between interesting history and natural facts and pleasantly silly puns and jokes. The inside of the semi-sub is nice and cool and while the water was a little cloudy due to the salt content, seeing the wreck and reef was still clear - almost haunting even! Well worth the experience!

Driver drove really fast. Tour was rushed. Drove by 2 of the destination spots without stopping. Stopped at Donkey Sanctuary & was told we could leave property on jeep. Had to go through 2 gates & walk over to an area where we were given information on the Sanctuary and they had a gift shop. Was unable to buy a souvenir & support the Sanctuary because my money was at the jeep. Asked if I had time to get it and I was told to hurry. Didn’t bother. Never stopped at Ayo Rock formations or Bushiribana gold mine ruins. Tour cost $95. Driver did not have much personality yet they expected Tips at the end. Tour ended at 3pm instead of 4:30. When I arrived at the hotel I went to the Tour office. I received an apology & a WHOPPING 10% back. $9.50 refund!!! One happy island taking tourist $$$$

North coast safari and snorkeling, Aruba
Just finished the “North coast safari and snorkeling” tour. This was my third time using De Palm Tours for excursions and I had the best time! Richie was my driver/tour guide and he was exceptional! He thoroughly explained the history behind the stops we made and was very attentive as I did this most recent excursion solo. I HIGHLY recommend De Palm tours to anyone traveling to the island for shuttle to and from airport but more importantly, the various excursions they offer! Already looking forward to my 2025 trip!

Baby beach and natural pool safari
Me and my family did a awesome baby beach & natural pool safari today. It was amazing. Our tour guide Chris had us laughing. He gave us a simple but informational guides and knowledge of the island. Sadly the natural pool was closed but overall a 9.8 for the trip. The fried fish at casibari was stupendous. Great job chris.hope to see you again

A few pretty spots but a disappointing tour
While the tour enabled us to see some nice sites, it was disappointing in numerous ways. While clearly advertised as "off road" there was nothing fun or enjoyable about spending several hours jolting along VERY rugged trails, eating the clouds of dust and grit from the jeep in front of us. The drivers, in our view, were also going WAY too fast, making it pretty terrifying and unnecessarily uncomfortable. The national park was good to see, and the natural pool beautiful. That is was closed due to high winds, so the promised swim there could not happen, was not their fault. But the fall-back of dropping us at a mediocre public beach was disappointing, especially since they dropped us off with no information, instructions, or the promised snorkling gear. Overall, fairly poor communications from our driver - we rarely knew what was happening, including misinforming us where to meet up with the jeep at the beach, causing us all to wait in the hot sun until one of us went to find out what was going on. Skip the lighthouse - it's a yawner.

      Excellent experience
It was Safari kind of vehicle. Very well driven by guide cum driver Chris. He took us to various points of interest thro different roads. Not advisable for very old or disabled or limited movement people. Half of the ride is very bumpy. Chris was a great guy. Lunch served was good. Both veg and non-veg choices available.

We booked this tour through Royal Caribbean on an ABC island cruise. Perhaps it's better to book it through another agency or just walk in to the tour company on Aruba. That might have mitigated some of the problems we encountered.

48 people were booked for the sub that carried 48 people, 24 in each row of plastic bucket-type seats. There was no weight limit which meant that, because our group had a large number of very large people, we were squished together like sardines in a can. I am not claustrophobic but it was impossible not to feel hemmed in.

If we'd seen a lot of interesting fish and other marine life I might have been able to get past the cramped quarters but we saw little other than some coral and a few fish. That advertising photos above? Nah ah. Maybe in other ports but certainly not Aruba. So when the excursion lasted barely 40 minutes, I was more relieved than disappointed.

This time, I did the submarine, but I've done a handful of activities with Depalm (including Seatrek at Depalm Island) and they've all been top notch. Depalm is my go-to for any organized activities in Aruba.

The submarine crew balanced light-hearted fun, information, and safety quite deftly. I'd definitely recommend for anyone interested in seeing the bottom of the ocean (who isn't?!) without scuba diving.

I would give it a 5 star review if it were not for the fact that we booked online through DePalm Tours, which charged us $13 for each ticket. Such a high service charge is unacceptable, and we were not warned that it would be added. Better to buy the tickets at the dock for the normal $105.

That said, it was a wonderful experience.

The 11 am sailing was full of small children, who were having a great time. If you want a quieter sailing, go at noon.

This was more than I expected. Usually with many of these excursions I expect they’re going to be mediocre. This was an exceptional tour and the staff made it even better.

Oscar, Francis ,Jason they were all fantastic really engaging really great with children make sure to call them out made them feel part of the experience.

We had an opportunity to see two shipwrecks and experience all different kinds of sea life everyone got an opportunity to see you things the submarine would do one pass and then turn around and do a second pass so the passengers on the other side of the submarine could see the same items so no one felt like they were missing out on anything.

My son who is 12 loved it and thought it was fantastic and got so excited every time he saw something new. We as well two grown adults also found extremely entertaining and constantly searching for some thing out there in the great abyss.

    - It should be explained better how long it would take by surface vessel to/from the submarine entry point. The elapsed time for the excusrion was much longer than the stated 2hrs.
    - When making the booking at the published price of $ 105 per person, additional and wholly unexplained service fees were added at some $ 11 per person. That's quite unacceptable.

This was one of the most memorable experiences ever for our family! From the time we checked in until the hatch was opened it was nothing but friendly service. The boat ride out to the submarine was a little rough but that was due to rough waters. The submarine was clean and lots of room and everyone gets their own view. We saw 3 shipwrecks and the announcer was very engaging and always pointed out any fish for all to see and both sides get to see it all. It’s something we will tell others about forever. Afterwards, try out The Paddock and eat lunch and have the bartender make you a M.A.V.E. punch (a new drink the bartender let us name).

We arrived and they had booked us accidentally for the wrong time, no apology just a shrug. We ended up taking 2 spare places and the 3rd person in our party was not able to come and had to get a refund. The person who booked us simply said she must have accidentally booked us for an earlier trip but wasn’t at all bothered.
It takes almost an hour to get out to the sub and get us all on so you only really get about 40 minutes on the sub for $109. It’s very hot and crowded and the other side to us could see the reef but we couldn’t. The guide said we would see it on the way back but we didn’t as they never properly turned round. We did see a wreck which was good but otherwise few fish and mostly just murky nothingness.
This trip is expensive and absolutely not worth the money.

I enjoyed the submarine adventure. The captain Alton did a wonderful job making sure we saw all the shipwrecks and under water life. One of the best part of the excursion was Arnaldo and the funny commentary he kept going. He also provided some great history on what we were seeing. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone wanting to go under the sea without having to scuba dive.

This is an activity that should be advertised as great for small children, not adults.

There’s nothing to see here, except for a few small fish that hang around on a reef. There are 2 “shipwrecks”, which were artificially planted there by the company running the submarine.

The advertisement pictures show the inside of the submarine as spacious and with room to move around. You’re actually pigeonholed into a hard plastic scoop seat with 39 other people all around you stuck in their plastic seat and made to listen to corny jokes about SpongeBob and Krusty Krab for 1/2 hour. The other 1/2 hour is spent on a ferry shuffling you back and forth with an equally nauseating employee lecturing you about marriage and life (he’s a part-time preacher)!

Save your money for a steak dinner!

    Positive:
Very cool experience to go 138 feet down to the bottom of the sea floor. We were able to see lots of different species of fish and the 2 (man sunk) shipwrecks! We also got to see The Renaissance hotel private flamingo island, from afar of course.

    Negotiate:
The company really packs you into seats smaller than an airline seat. This means if a passenger is overweight, it makes for an uncomfortable tour.

I’d recommend this... if you have the extra cash.
