      The next ‘re’generation...
We had the awesome opportunity to share in this olive farm regeneration experience with Laura leading the tour. You will be fascinated with the strategy for organic farming and fiscal sustainability. Your first stop is meeting Laura or Guillermo at the village bus stop for personal escort (5-10 minutes) to the farmland. The earth is dry, sand like due to no rain. Laura provides straw hats and water. We stood for various lectures in the olive tree shade to learn of the challenges and hopeful success in the dedicated effort to bring the family heir-loomed farm to the next 100 years. The tour moved to the refurbished hen house for a comfortable olive oil tasting and tapas with wine (or juice). Toilet on site here. A very unique way to spend part of your day before venturing to Toledo or back to Madrid.

Great day out just outside of Madrid!
Heard about it from a friend and so glad we went! We came as two couples and had a really interesting tour around the grove followed by a tasting and lovely tapas! Guillerme was a great guide and very knowledgeable, clearly has a passion for what he does. A great day out for any anyone interested in learning more about Spanish culture and food, or just looking to try something a little different! Would heavily recommend :)

A perfect day in the countryside - Ein perfekter Tag auf dem Land!
Laura and Guillerme organised some wonderful hours for us in the olive grove. It is fantastic to talk directly to the producers and learn about the origen of the food products we consume daily without understanding them fully. Thanks for this enriching experience and tasty lunch! We especially appreciated that the food was served with minimal use of plastic and that there was a story and a local producer behind them. Viele liebe Grüße, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. :-)

      A hidden gem!!
I live in Madrid and some friends (we are all in our mid-20's) were visiting me for a few days and last minute we decided to take a day trip out of the city to do something different. We were able to take a bus there from the Estación Sur bus station (it was about an hour and a half bus ride and a nice way to see a bit of the surrounding countryside). It turned out to be our favorite thing we did together during their stay! The farm is run by a young couple, Guillermo and Laura and they are incredible. So kind, patient, flexible, and dedicated to their work. You can visit the grove, learn about the olives, farming, and process of how olive oil is made. The tour finishes with an olive oil tasting with wine and a tapa. It was truly a wonderful and fun experience and I recommend it to anyone!!

Amazing experience to see the magic of Spain!
Visiting Proyecto Los Aires was a great addition to our trip to Madrid! This excursion helped show us the true magic of Spain. My husband and I rented a "Blue Move" as suggested on the site to leave Madrid for the morning and visit Proyecto Los Aires. The drive was easy and beautiful. We enjoyed getting to see the area outside of the big city. Once we arrived, Guillermo and Laura were so welcoming. The passion for their farm and their method of producing olive oil was very evident and we both learned a lot about farming and tasting olive oil. After the educational portion, they pulled out all of the stops with a fresh and delicious lunch. Before leaving, we were sure to purchase some of their olive oil, but I know we should have purchased more.

      Authentic and Informative
We loved hearing about Guillermo and Laura's journey from city biologists to country olive oil producers. A lovely young couple, they shared their experience and knowledge with us in a delightful, down to earth way. Their olive oil is organic and delicious! We learned about the methods of organic farming, the trees, harvesting techniques and had all our questions answered. We take home a few bottles of oil and a new ability to understand how to taste and choose excellent, healthy olive oil for every purpose.

If you think wine tasting is fun.....
Perfect day in the countryside with lovely, knowledgeable couple sharing their family olive grove and sustainable approach. After a great tour and explanation of their philosophy, we tasted various oils, and learned about the desired traits of bittness and spice. Then we were treated to a delightful lunch spread of local hummus, cheese, partridge pate, almonds and the wonderful company of our hosts. Can't recommend this more highly!

Great day in the olive grove
We had wonderful experience. Guillermo and Laura are very knowledgeable and willing to share what they know. We spent a wonderful morning learning about the Olive Trees and then the tasting was fantastic. We won't ever look at olive oil the same way again. We also had lunch in the Olive Grove, with all local foods which was great. This exceeded all expectations.

      Great tour for our group!
We organized a group tour to this Olive Oil farm for our Embassy after reading a couple of reviews and hearing from others about the quality of the tour. There were 50 of us and one the largest groups they hosted. Both owners, Guillermo and Laura, are young and very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their work at the farm. The tour is very informative, the tasting was a nice touch and the lunch afterwards gave everyone a chance to mingle and get to know each other. We definitely recommend this tour for smaller groups as well!

      Great family activity in English!
This farm tour was the perfect way to spend a day with visitors! My husband and I live in Madrid and my parents were visiting from the US, so we were looking for a farm visit to learn more about the local products. Guillermo and Laura were so welcoming and inspiring! You can tell they really care about the olive trees and their products. It is really encouraging to see them working so hard to farm the organic way. We loved learning about their farming techniques, tasting the oils, lunch and meeting other travelers. I highly recommend this tour and will definitely do it again when we have other visitors!

      Refreshing
We had the opportunity to experience the Olive Grove Tours with lunch. This was an easy day tour from our starting point in Madrid. This is a family owned and operated Organic Olive Grove in which the husband (Guillermo) and wife (Laura) provided us an informative tour and local lunch. We loved the organic, holistic local farming practices. The lunch was from local farmers, locally produced wine, partridge paté, cured meats, olive dip, cheese and olive oils. Key words to describe the experience: Amazingly informative, refreshing and relaxing. Our logistics were the following: from our hotel in Madrid, train to airport, rented car from Madrid airport (which helped us avoid Madrid downtown traffic), then an easy drive to the meeting point. We began our tour, enjoyed al fresco lunch, and wrapped up with an easy drive back to Madrid. Car rental pricing for one day was less than $45.00 USD. We purchased a bottle of their olive oil and made an autumn meal. Surprisingly this olive oil amplified the flavors in the meal. It is interesting that the flavor profile of the foods were distinctly different when using this high quality olive oil. Give this tour a try, we surely enjoyed our time at the olive grove.

      Fantastic, very enjoyable! ¡Muy chulo!
Last Friday I took a group of American university students on a tour of this Olive farm and we loved it. Guillermo and Laura explained their project very well and with passion. Their explanations were easy to follow and never too long. We loved the hands-on part of tasting olive oil. We all learned a lot and now appreciate ecological farmers' work much more. The end was the best: several local delicacies for lunch. Yum!! Not for vegans, though. We would have loved to see the olive press area. Very recommendable as a cultural visit or even as part of a science or business field trip.

Fabulous Tour, Lovely People, Tasty Oil, Learned Lots!
It was out of season (March), but I could not have had a better tour of this sweet small organic orchard. The owners Laura & Guillermo were warm and forthcoming about the wonders and trials of olive oil production, and it was fascinating. The landscape is lovely and the tour felt personal and far from boiler plate The very reasonably priced visit was topped off with a tasting, and I was dazzled by the oil (still savoring some in my home in Mexico) and there local foods to boot. I strongly recommend this distinctive tour. Thanks and please say in touch!!

      Wonderful and interesting
We were lucky to have Guillermo and Laura all to ourselves. So we got to ask lots of questions and connect with a wonderful couple with such conviction and determination in mastering their vision. We were blown away with the taste of high end organic olive oil as compared to what I was accustomed to. It has opened our eyes and taste buds. Great blessings for all your harvests.

We had a lovely and informative tour of this family olive grove followed by an excellent tasting with tapas and wine. We learned all about how the olive trees are grown in an organic and environmentally respectful manner with the processing of olives to make olive oil. The tasting of different oils was really interesting. My 9 and 11 yo sons also enjoyed it.

We met Lola, a biologist, and had a very detailed and informative tour of their olive grove. She was happy that there had been a lot of rain for a good harvest in the fall. The wildflowers had burst into bloom and it was a beautiful day in the countryside. We tasted different grades of olive oil and left knowing how to read labels at the grocery store. We also sampled their wine and local cheese. An overall wonderful experience! The reason I don’t give it 5 stars is that we did not get the address for a meeting point. We plugged the address we were given from TripAdvisor for the booking into maps and had a bit of an off road adventure!
Lola called us, though, and texted the meeting point address and all was well.

This activity was fantastique we got to meet Laura the owner of the grove.
Her knowleadge was well transmitted as we began the tour and the tasting of the different olive oils, we discovered what olive oil should taste like. It was top off with à small taste of there oil and wine, completed by cheese and bread of the région.
What a pleasure it was for all of us to learn all about the grove and the region.
    We highly recommended this tour..

Laura and her husband own this olive grove. Laura led a very interesting tour, teaching us about the history of their farm and the organic methods of growing and harvesting olives. This was followed by a fabulous olive oil tasting, where Laura taught us how to differentiate between types of olive oils. We finished off with wine, bread and cheese. This was a really unique experience and even my kids (12 & 15) enjoyed it. It is clear Laura and Guillermo are devoted to what they do and work incredibly hard.

In September 2017 (two years ago) we visited with a group of colleagues the olive grove. We got a tour, an explanation, a tasting and the most amazing lunch between the olive trees in the olive grove. Laura and Guillermo are very friendly, authentic: just wonderful. They also suggested a tourbus company that fit right into our budget, so communication and service was great to. Now, after two (2) years, people still have very warm memories to this day. Thank you for the experience! We will never drink "lampante" again. P.s. the olive oil we ordered was delivered fine, in time and also very delicious.

I do not enjoy these things...
You tell me we are visiting an olive farm in the middle of nowhere in a massive heat wave... NO WAY!!
But, I got outvoted, and I am so glad I did...
It was truly a fantastic time.
Go there, taste the oil, see the sights, meet the wonderful people that run it...
One of the best memories me and my family will have of our visit to Spain.

A beautiful young couple are the proud farmers in this hundred(s) of years old olive oil grove. You will tour the grove and hear all about cultivating and harvesting olives. It was very hot and dry when we went, but we were given water and straw hats. The information was so interesting (and for us, in English!) that the hour passed quickly. The tapas lunch was delicious (vegetarian option is offered) and the tasting was an awesome opportunity to actually see and taste the difference in oils. This took place in a large, cool refurbished hen house. Atmosphere was bright, clean, and inviting (clean, nice bathrooms too!), the tour itself was very informative and engaging, and Laura & Guillermo were so gracious and welcoming. A distinctly Spanish experience for sure!
