Zion National Park is a dark sky area, allowing for an incredible stargazing experience. This tour takes place just outside the eastern border of the national park, elevated above the surrounding communities.

Great ride through stunning views. The walk through the slot canyons were a bonus. Out guides were super friendly and helpful. Horses are well cared for.

      Great experience with the kids
I went with my 8 and 10 years old sons. For the younger one it was the first time riding a horse. He just turned 8. We all had a great time. The kids appreciated it since otherwisewPerfluorodecanoic acid e "dragg" them to "boring" hikes.

Top of the world keep ride
Our family of four took a wonderful top of the world jeep tour with Mark. He was so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. His attention to detail-having extra blankets on a very chilly day, having snacks and water bottles was so amazing. Prior to our trip, we had a super quick response to questions we had and that was appreciated. We really enjoyed the experience!

      Memorable Horse Ride with Views
This was perfect and just what we envisioned. A quaint 1 hour ride, a beautiful trail into a slot canyon through some rocky and curving paths to make it engaging. Trevor the guide was very attentive and had a cool back story if you ask. If you want a relaxing and memorable experience- this is right on point.

      Wild trail Riding !!!
It’s hard to believe that anything could be worth taking time away from seeing the majestic views of these National Parks-but this tour was worth every minute! We had fun the entire time- non stop action and fast paced! Meagan was hilarious and matched our energy, full of info too, not the useless mundane kind either-things that we will take with us! Do not miss this crazy ride-it’s a must do!

      Outstanding, well worth the money!
The tour guides (Lanny and John) were excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and fun all made for a great experience. The crimson and Elkheart caves were fantastic! Both guides helped us with get some incredible photos. We drove from Las Vegas just for this hike and it was well worth every penny.

Stay away! East Zion made us drive 45 minutes to Ponderosa Ranch in the rain and in the dark for a 9:30 pm Moon Gazing tour just to find out they have cancelled the tour. They knew at 8 pm that it’s not going to happen due to weather but didn’t bother to call or email my contact info. People at East Zion Adventures do not have consideration of people’s time! I even called 10x that day to ask if the event is on because it had been raining all day.
They kept on saying it’s still on. Do not book this trip!

To start, don't be fooled, this tour may have an Orderville UT address but the meeting point is about 30 miles from there. You meet at a campground, walk about 100 yards into the woods and sit on a concrete slab to look at the stars.

They feed the already sugar stoked kids at the campground instant Swiss Miss hot chocolate, so it's quite noisy, and they play with their flashlights which makes adjusting your eyes to the night sky difficult.

Yes you do see stars, and there is a little narration from the guide, but we could do just as well at our site picnic table with a "star gazing" phone app.

Not worth the cost at all, don't bother.

We booked this having read that Utah has some of the darkest sky’s… except last night was almost a full moon. I didn’t even think about the moon, but it lit up the sky so much we could barely seen anything in the sky. So we sat out in 45 degree weather and listened to a guy talk about the starts for an hour and a half. Total waste of time and money. We sat on an uncomfortable cement pad in the cold looking at the same sky we have anywhere. I would NEVER recommend this unless 1. No moon and 2. It was warmer. I would recommend they not even run this “adventure” unless the sky is dark.

By the time we got through the park and all the switchbacks, I was terrified. All I could think of was we had to drive back in the pitch black sky. The place we had to drive to was way out in the middle of absolute nowhere and the roads were not marked very well. Again, I was terrified by the time I got to the place and all my husband could do was cancel so that we could start to drive back and the last little bit of light that we had. I was up all night with stress headache. I’m sure we won’t get a refund but we should have been warned about hazardous driving conditions. I would not recommend this trip for anyone who does not like to drive scary mountain passes with 23 switchbacks and my long tunnels in the dark.

Cody was amazing!!! You can tell she really loves stars and teaching people about them. I love how she used tales from all backgrounds to explain the legends about the stars and constellations. Especially the native one about the North Star!

Had an awesome night seeing the stars and constellations. The view was stunning as there is very little light pollution and you can see so many stars. Myles talked about what planets we could see, difference between comets and meteors, and many mythology stories behind the visible constellations.

We happened to go on a super blue moon evening, so not as many stars as normal, but the constellation sighting and stories were terrific. Also hot cocoa and hot Apple cider! Felt no rush at all, and both guides were super knowledgeable.

We loved our tour guide Kodi. She was kind, interactive, funny, and informative. The stars were absolutely incredible! We saw so many shooting stars, the Milky Way, and the constellations. They also provided us with hot chocolate and blankets. Such a wonderful tour! Would highly recommend!

The stars were beautiful, but the adventure could be done without the price tag. The hot chocolate was just packaged Swiss miss and it was very cold. Plus the guide spent a long time on satellites instead of constellations.

letting us know if there is going to be a bright moon that night, or at least choose a different area.
any one with a little bit of experience, should know that you don't take people to the highest point with a bright moon to see stars.
if there is a moon, it should be in a wooded area or canyon to block some light.

we had to hike up hill for about 15-20 minutes, my mother can do a light hike but up a hill it as very rough on her.

the hot chocolate or tea that was supposed to be offered, it was slightly warm tap water.
the tea could not brew because of the temperature, I did not try the chocolate but it was made from the same water.
for $20 dollars per person plus tax, I expect good service.

I am paying for an experience and it was not delivered.
