Sunset and Night Photography Tour on Trail Ridge Road

By Rock Light Photo Tours
We will visit at least three locations for photography in iconic Rocky Mountain National Park for the afternoon golden hour and sunset. I have traveled extensively in search of amazing photographic locations, and it is hard to beat Trail Ridge Road high in Rocky Mountain National Park.for the wide variety of views and photographic locations. I will show you great locations, and make suggestions on composition and subject matter. I can even help you with your camera settings if you are a beginner. After sunset. we will take a brief break for a snack and to get set up for night photography while we wait for the Milky Way to emerge. Don't have a RMNP entrance reservation? (new this year) No need! My commercial use permit means we don't need an advance permit! NOTE: all locations are above 10,000' elevation!

I had a little previous experience with Milky Way photography, but learned so much more, which I will move forward with to become more proficient. The group worked well together and everyone provided a safe and comfortable experience. Overall it was very enjoyable and I would recommend it to anyone interested in taking pics in such a setting as Trail Ridge Road.

Colin knew the RMNP area well, and got us to some great locations, even on a challenging night with lots of smoke from nearby fires. He's a cool hang, generally great dude, and he knows his stuff. Highly recommended.
