- LindsayFamily20150 contributionsAdrenaline, Education & DiningRoss & Jonathan were wonderful guides, explaining folklore & geology while encouraging us to use the power of our side by side ATVs to have fun! We stopped half way for lunch in a cabin to warm up and roar back to base. Great way to see the expanse of Denali National Park.Written September 17, 2024
- margaretsO6840EJ0 contributionsMust do adventure! We visited Denali ATV Adventures as an excursion on our Royal Caribbean land tour. It was such a fun adventure! Top rate all around. We were picked up at our hotel, and every part of the tour was well run, and our enjoyment was the top priority. Our host was "Boots", and he did such an amazing job of pointing out landmarks and providing details on the land. He obviously has a love of the land, and he helped us to see why he loves it so much.Written September 8, 2024

The guides were amazing (Goblin and Maps) and the trails, ATV's (we road in the 2 seater side-by-side) and logistics all made for a great day of exploring some of the most beautiful country on the planet. - lanan0 contributionsOne of our favorite things in AlaskaWe couldn’t be happier with the experience. We recommend the longer one if you have time. The day we went it was sprinkling & overcast but that made it less dusty & the terrain more adventurous. It was exciting for our teenage daughters & one of their favorite things in Alaska. There was another family with a toddler who also had a blast. It is a fantastic activity for all ages. Our guides were Stephan “Hobble Goblin” & Ryan “Boots” & were very knowledgeable & personable.Written August 4, 2024
- Dream593702686920 contributionsPrivate Denali ATV TourWe booked a private 2.5-hour ATV ride with Denali ATV Adventures. We were a family of three (two adults and a 10-year-old) and so we chose a 3-seater machine so that we could all ride together. John (trail name Ghost, I think?) was our guide. We had a very fun time! He took us all around the private land near Denali Park, showing us some absolutely gorgeous landscapes, including hilly areas overlook Healy and a big dry glacial creek bed. The weather was so perfect; it was mid-July and it was about 70 degrees and sunny. All of us had a blast. Our one recommendation would be to DEFINITELY wear eyewear and a neck gaiter. Our ATV had a windshield and we still got dust EVERYWHERE. I wore sunglasses but none of us had the gaiters and so we were wiping dust out of our eyes and coughing/sneezing it up the rest of the day. It was still fun and didn't bother us that badly but I would definitely do that differently in the future. Overall, really great ride!Written August 4, 2024
- msites1060 contributionsCan't go wrong with Bumblebee and Rocket as tour guides! Our Denali Trailblazer ATV Tour was an absolute blast! Guided by the dynamic duos Mariah (aka Bumblebee) and Rocket (aka Shane), we couldn’t have asked for better guides. They were not only hilarious but also incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Their humor and enthusiasm made the tour even more enjoyable. Mariah and Rocket took us to some of the coolest spots around Denali, ensuring we saw the best of what the region has to offer. They made sure we were comfortable and safe throughout the ride, expertly handling any challenges we encountered. The scenery was breathtaking, and the thrilling ATV ride made it all the more exhilarating. Overall, the Denali Trailblazer ATV Tour exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for an adventure filled with stunning views and guided by entertaining and skilled professionals, this tour is a must-do. Mariah and Rocket truly made it an unforgettable experience!Written August 3, 2024

Extremely slow tour so didn’t see much that you don’t see from the road. The tour pace is set to the slowest in the group, for us this was only 7mph!!! The person should have been removed or they should have separated the group. We crawled along and no enjoyment. It says wildlife in abundance on their site, there wasn’t any and while on the trip they told us they don’t normally see any as the animals stay inside the park area where they are safe from hunters. With limited time available this option was a real letdown and a disappointing experience from what was advertised, an ATV adventure up to 30mph and an abundance of wildlife…….would not recommend this activity.

A great way to see the "off the beaten path" side of the Denali area. Our guide was awesome, providing background of the area during our scenic stops along the many trails. The ATV's were a blast to drive with the guide making sure everyone was at a comfortable level while riding.

Do NOT book this if you want to go 4 wheeling and be adventurous . This was a total rip off for the money . We went literally 8mph in a slow line . Constantly stopping and breaking . Then they stop twice and talk and waste your time and don’t get much on the trail . So many people - like 15 vehicles in a row with some people super inexperienced slow people and held it up. We paid a lot of money for something my golf cart at home could do and much faster. This is not adventurous at all. I told them my concerns and they said it would pick up - never trying to solve the problem or make it better. Do NOT go here - super disappointed. In fact worse thing we did all in Alaska for our money .

If you are looking for adventure, this is not the trip for you. They have way too many people per tour and you are required to stay in line like ducks. There is no off terrain, no getting out of line, no fishtails, no extras at all. My husband literally went out of line about 5 feet to ride over a bump and they stopped the your and threatened to kick him out. It was super boring actually.
In addition, They did not pick us up from the hotel as confirmed the previous day and did not have the right ATVs for us that we had scheduled.

We did an 8am single ride. The 2.5 hours includes time for them to pick you up/drop you off, select gear and do a quick test course. The ride itself is probably about 1.25-1.5 hours at most. My husband has ridden ATVs before and also rides a motorcycle; I had never ridden either before. While I was a little nervous that I might fail the safety test, my worries were unfounded. The ATV is actually really simple to ride, and they provide good instruction (as well as helmets/goggles). We both had a blast! Got up to 22mph at the highest; I would say on average we were going about 15mph. The scenery was breathtaking and riding through the river was my favorite part. They suggested wearing rain gear, but it really wasn't necessary--I would say that about half our group had rain gear, the other half was in jeans. Definitely got dusty and a little splashed. Would do this again in a heartbeat!

We have been in Alaska for two weeks and I’m pretty sure this was the absolute favorite of the three older teen boys on our trip. My 13 year old niece loved this trip as well as the adults. Haley was awesome in teaching the boys to ride their ATVs and then leading the tour on a bumpy, wet and exciting ride through the area next to the park. Brice was also super fun and knowledgeable about the area and had the boys smashing rocks looking for gold. They make several stops allowing riders to get off and take pictures and learn about the area. The whole family wanted to do it again today but alas, there was no time. Definitely a must do. They have the best rides available in the area.

We took the Midnight Sun Tour with our extended family of 16 with ages from 7 to 61. Libby and Danny were very knowledgeable and entertaining- we thoroughly enjoyed our adventure! They were very accommodating and attentive- offering up stories and also being our photographers at stops. I highly recommend Denali ATV Adventures - you won’t be disappointed!

What a great trip! We had so much fun. Our driver Bob was awesome! Our guides Cooper and Clay(?) we’re so nice. The ONLY reason we are giving a four star instead of a five is because there was a bit of rushing at the break points. Maybe, instead of three, spend more time and just do two. The equipment was in excellent condition, the trails were a great mix of bumpy and fast, and the trip was well organized. I felt that our safety was a top priority at all times. We will definitely take this tour again.

A real adventure. The ATVs move fast over some very rugged old mining roads. A number of times I saw huge craters in the road and thought there's no way we are getting across that. But we did! Scenery, of course, was beautiful. Bit of advice - don't bring your camera unless you have it protected - it will get very dusty. Also, don't wear white! Lots of fun!

We had a fabulous time on our brief adventure! Jenny and Jeremiah were our guides and they were both full of knowledge and fun facts about the area. They took great pictures of our group and worked hard to keep the energy of the group excited and up beat. I love learning about areas we travel to and this was a perfect blend of exhilarating trails, scenic views, and interesting info! Thank you both for making this a fun experience!!
My only suggestion would be to recommend face/neck Gators on sunny days to help combat breathing in all the dust from the trail.
