Great experience at Minoh Park Tour
Mr Ichiro was a wonderful guide during my walk at Minoh Park. He was more like a fellow friend who came to the park together with me. We had a great time chatting and walking through nature. Thank you for the wonderful experience and I would highly recommend anyone to do the Minoh Tour with Mr Ichiro.

Ando was the best and we loved our visit with her.
Ando Minako was a superb guide. We met her at 9 am and the visit was perfect. She gave us some great information and made it very interesting. Even our 12 years old twins loved it and had a great time. The castle was great and the rest of the tour. We also felt that it was just enough information and what we were looking for. We highly recommend Ando if you want to have a great visit.

    Personalized tour through Japan’s majesty
I began planning our trip to Japan one year in advance, and had specific ideas about what attractions were most important to visit based on individual preferences. Though I reached out to more than five different touring companies, only All Star Osaka Walk was willing to accommodate our ‘dream list’ within the itinerary allowed time. Not only were we able to chose the schedule, but also our most desired guide, Kaori, whom I’d read stellar reviews from previous travelers on similarly ambitious city days. As anticipated, Kaori-chan was responsive, thorough, responsible, ethical, efficient, and kind. What we couldn’t have predicted was how warm and caring she would be, attending to all of our needs (down to providing a hand drying cloth at temple restrooms and even sharing her favorite snacks and electrolyte drops during these very hot summer days in Japan). We knew we were truly in the best of care as she led us through the beauty and majesty of Kyoto and Osaka. Each night at dinner, our son revived the many lessons Kaori-chan had filled our days with, from history and social, spiritual, cultural foundations and the meaningfulness of traditions and rituals in Japan. She was always gentle and encouraging with her teaching, providing insight in an engaging manner that everyone could grasp and find personally relevant. Not only did we see so much in two days, but we expanded our hearts and minds by choosing to share our limited time on this trip with Ms. Kaori. I’d most strongly encourage you to consider the same. There could not have been a better way to travel through the dense beauty of Kyoto and Osaka for our family. With gratitude, we will always remember these dream filled days. Thank you, All Star Osaka Walk! 🩷

Not for us, we had high hopes.
We didn’t enjoy our walk and it wasn’t what we expected. There were only 4 of us and Rika didn’t check what we might be interested in. Too long at Osaka Station, the garish Dontonburi area was plastic, the ‘tasting restaurant’ was dirty. We did enjoy walking through the old Geisha / theatre alley way and seeing the little Shinto & Buddist Temple/Shrine. Wouldn’t recommend, sorry Guide Rika.

Great way to spend a few hours in Osaka
This was an interesting tour. We definitely saw parts of Osaka we would not have visited on our own. It gave us a completely different feel for the city than we would have taken away from the standard tourist spots. Our guide was pleasant, informative, and definitely loved her city.

A great way to learn about Osaka, do this first!
A great way to get oriented in Osaka, both with history, where the yummy food is, and learning about the difference and etiquette of Shinto shrine and Buddhist temple. So good to be able to ask lots of questions as we walked. Guides were great!

    An Enjoyable Trip
Last year had an Osaka private tour with Kaori and enjoyed very much. This year Kyoto trip, we requested Kaori to be our tour guide again. She prioritised places we interested to visit most, briefing us the history of each site we visited. At the end of the tour, she would suggest the places that we can visit on our own. Very helpful. Too bad we have not enough time to spend one more day with her.

    Loved it.
We went at 4 PM and nobody was there! Wait for the tour buses to leave and it’s all to yourself. It’s beautiful and the hike is easy. One of my favorite things we did in Osaka. Pair it with the noodle company to make your own ramen and swim in the onsens at the resort at the top of the hill!

    A gem with a gentleman
Mr Ichiro Ando a.k.a. Ichi san of "All star Osaka" is a real gentleman and took my wife and I on a lovely morning walk to the beautiful Minoh waterfall, just outside Osaka. The pace was relaxed and the scenery was beautiful, making this hike a pleasant escape from the city. It was "sakura", so we were lucky to get to see the cherry trees in full blossom. The hiking trail passes through temples and shrines and is almost three kilometers-long. The walk is very easy, the fall itself is cozy and romantic. On the way back, Ichi san took us to lunch at this lady's place where we had delicious home-made food, sharing smiles and courtesies with the owner. We strongly recommend this 5-hour tour!

    Absolutely perfect.
We booked a 2 day tour of Kyoto because our cruise ship was docked for the night. Our guide for the first day was Keiko who was so sweet and lovely. Her English was excellent and she met us at the port and took us on the subway and Shinkansen to Kyoto. We had the most wonderful tea ceremony in Kyoto and saw Kiyomizu temple. We had a stroll around the Gion geisha district where we tried some traditional snacks before Keiko escorted us all the way back to the ship. A wonderful day! Our guide for day 2 was Minako, who suggested we meet earlier than planned to make the most of the cherry blossoms in full bloom. And they were beautiful! Minako again met us at the port and we took the Shinkansen to Kyoto. Just like Keiko on our first day, Minako was so kind and thoughtful and spoke fantastic English. She helped my brother to learn some more Japanese and would be an excellent teacher! We enjoyed seeing Kinkakuji temple and the Arashiyama bamboo forest. Minako even took me to a shrine for salon owners! Wonderful! She arranged a superb lunch at a pasta restaurant for us and it was the best pasta I’ve ever had - and I’ve been to Rome!!! Minako even helped me track down a Pandora store in Kyoto so I could buy my Japanese charm! Wouldn’t have found it without her! She arranged for us to get back to the port in time. I would 100% recommend this tour and when we come back to Japan in a few years we will be looking up Minako and Keiko to book a tour to Nara and Osaka!

Thank you, Akie-san, for the excenllent walking tour of Yanaka & Asakusa. I had a lot of fun! You are very pleasant, very professional, and also an outstanding guide!! I will certainly recommend you and the tour to people planning to visit a local town in Tokyo. Yanaka, which has been attracting attention from home and abroad in recent years, was a town where I could feel the good old days of Japan. The walking route was well thought out and covered the best of Yanaka and Asakusa.

Starting from Nippori Station, we walked around 2 old areas discovering beautiful streets, small but cozy gift shops, old temples and local specialties. Without Akie, our tour guide, we would not be able find so much places of beauty alone. The sunset at Nipporo and the twilight experience in Asakusa were so special to enjoy the area. Apreciating a little break in the garden with a special treat and the view from local bus window to Asakusa, I would say each moment of this tour was something that we cannot miss. It was awesome! Thank you very much, Akie!

Even living in Tokyo, never come across narrow alleys in traditional atmosphere.
The standing bar we grab a beer in Yanaka is awesome🍺
Our guide, Akie is informative and friendly.

I joined this tour and had a great evening and night. Hiroko showed us by splended shortcut route so we did'nt need to walk too much, but still we enjoyed histrical paces and nice cafe where we had a break with wonderful canele at the best time to see sunset. Her time management was great. In Asakusa, suddenly amazing night view appeared in front of us! Main hall, five storied pagoda and Tokyo sky tree could be seen all at once and so impresive. Also Hiroko prepared lot of visval aidsand they helped us to image what she explained. Thank you Hiroko!

Thanks to a friendly and knowledgeable guide, Akie-san, I had a wonderful day!
She told us interesting stories of Yanaka and Asakusa with humor and took us some local and traditional temples and lovely shops in Yanaka. She kindly helped me take photos of cherry blossoms in full bloom and illuminated Sensoji Temple from the best point.
Walking through narrow arrays and seeing traditional Japanese fence made me excited.
In Yanaka Ginza, enjoying a drink, we chatted with locals having some cute cats.
In Asakusa, I could know its charm as an entertainment town.
On this tour, I felt both the nostalgic atmosphere of the daily lives of ordinary locals in Yanaka and the busy temple town in Asakusa.
I highly recommend this tour!

Our guide, Akie, did a great job. She knew what she was doing as we got to see the various sights of Yanaka and Asakusa. This tour gives you a taste of the old charm of downtown Tokyo and everyday Japanese life. A stop at a small temple with several goldfish bowls to see the goldfish was very impressive.
We were lucky enough to enjoy the beautiful sunset in Yanaka and the illumination of Sensoji Temple and Sky Tree on this tour.

Very enjoyable trip thanks to a very friendly guide Akie san. In Yanaka, I could experience a real downtown or lower town of Tokyo where streets are narrow and winding and you can feel the daily life of ordinary Japanese people there. Then we went to Asakusa, famous for Senso Ji Temple at night. The scenery of Asakusa at night was very instagrammable.

If I had not joined this tour, I couldn’t have enjoyed Yanaka and Asakusa this much‼️
On the tour, we walked through many paths that only local people know. We tasted delicious Sake and local sweet. In the end of the tour, we had the wonderful view of Asakusa area with Sky Tree from the special place.😄You can’t miss it!
Plus, the guide was great 👍
I totally recommend this tour ❣️

Yanaka has been one of my favorite places in Tokyo. And I have been waiting for the chance to visit. Yesterday it became realized by this local tour. Thanks to the good weather, I could enjoy cherry blossom viewing and walking the town very much. It was fan to imagine the five stories pagoda which really existed long time ago here

Though, I was a bit familiar with Asakusa, however, Akie-san, super knowledgeable guide showed us a hidden side of Asakusa. it appeared so different and cool.
In Yanaka, I never thought this place was such an amazing, since she brought us a fun places with a great sense of humor and shared a lot of laughter.
It was a quite local experience only this place can enable.
Highly recommend to hung around with Akie-san, anyway.
