      Highly recommend!
This was such an amazing experience! My daughter and I wanted to fully embrace the traditional Japanese culture while visiting Tokyo and this was the best way! Wearing a Kimono, going to a shrine, and a traditional tea ceremony. Sayoko is so sweet and kind. It was truly the highlight of our trip! She was amazing with communication from day one! She even helped us work around the time frame we had available. We opted for the added on hair styling option, which I would highly suggest. We felt beautiful all day after our morning adventure!

      Amazing Kimono experience
Sakoyo offered a fun and educational experience. She was very attentive giving very clear direction from start to finish. She was flexible in accomodating the time my group needed. She made pictures beautifully and send them to us same day. Definitely recommend and would book with her again!

Sayako-san had an amazing collection of kimonos and accessories to choose from! It was hard to choose one as all the kimonos were really beautiful. I felt very pretty when fully dressed in the kimono and the experience was amazing.

If you want to feel a little more fancy, do consider purchasing some hair accessories after picking your kimono! I bought some flower accessories that complimented the kimono at Asakusa before the session started and wore it the entire time :)

Sayoko-san showed me around Asakusa and we went to pray at the temple together! The pictures were really beautiful and I had lots of fun. I had a great time with her as she taught me various things about Japan and Kimono culture during the tour.

I would recommend going for the morning sessions as there would be lesser people around, which makes for better photos and lesser waiting times. Personally, I went with the morning session and had time to wander around the area in the late afternoon after the session ended!

Please consider taking up this experience with Sayoko-san! ありがとうございます!

If you want a kimono experience with someone passionate and knowledgeable, Sayoko is the one for you!
She replied within minutes of me booking this activity although it was very late ( past 11pm) and she sent me pictures of kimonos to choose from.
When we had to change the location because of the weather, she informed me on time. She is patient and very sweet. Most of all, she's knowledgeable. She told me things about japanese traditional attire (kimono, yukata and hakama) that even my tour guide didn't know. She also has a good eye for good photo spots.
    I'm a 100% satisfied customer. 😊

This was an amazing experience. Sayoko made me feel very comfortable as she explained the many layers of the kimono. She has a lot of kimonos to choose from. If you like, she can also suggests which beautiful umbrella (that she makes herself) to pair with your chosen kimono. She taught me how to walk and how to pose and select it several beautiful scenic spots to take the pictures with her phone. I am so happy that I booked this experience I would highly suggest this to anyone that would love to dress up in a traditional Kimono.

Best experience in Japan! Sayoko is very kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. She did a great job at making sure I was able to get to her business. The Kimono was absolutely beautiful and authentic. Sayoko also has one of a kind umbrellas you can choose from and the footwear is also included! Sayoko taught me several Japanese traditions we used at the shrine. She knows all the best spots and took a lot of amazing photos! You get all the photos the same day as well!

Thank you for joining me on my kimono tour😊 I am very happy that you wrote such a nice review! We had two groups on one tour that day, which is sometimes the case, but everyone became friends the moment they met and it made for a very enjoyable tour 😊. We were able to take you to Nezu Shrine just as the azaleas were blooming beautifully, and we were very happy to take even more beautiful photos than usual ✨. I will continue to do my best so that more guests can enjoy the Japanese kimono culture ❣️

This morning with Sayoko will remain one of our best memories of Japan. Both professional and friendly, she immersed us in the world of Kimono, Shinto shrines, and Tea ceremony. An absolutely essential discovery of Japanese culture! And the magnificent photos allow us to relive the moment with our loved ones who remained in France.

The Authentic Kimono Culture Experience Dress, Walk, and Capture was memorable! I booked this last minute on another site, yet Sayoko made sure to make it a positive and inclusive experience. She checked on my preferences and limitations. She gave me options on where to take photos. Her selections of kimonos and upcycled umbrellas were also beautiful. Make sure to book this experience with the gracious and pleasant Sayoko. You'll learn a lot from her!

Sayoko is so nice! I love my pictures from the shrine. I have a condition that makes it hard to walk for long periods and she was very accommodating. I’m also a transgender male and she helped me with my male kimono and posing, which meant a lot to me! It was a great experience I recommend!!

We visited Tokyo, Japan in May 2024. We travelled as a family with our 2 young daughters (10 and 8 years old). One of our best memories is an afternoon with Sayoko. She was amazing, making all of us comfortable. You have to book in advance and a selection of kimonos is offered depending on size. On the day, we were dressed in kimonos and went for a walk to a nearby shrine. It was a beautiful location and a great learning experience. Sayoko was very patient, took a lot of pictures and shared them all with us. A once in a lifetime experience that we will never forget. We definitely recommend!
