About
Yanaka stands out as one of Tokyo's most enchanting and traditional neighborhoods. It not only withstood the ravages of World War II and the Tokyo earthquake but, thanks to its resilience, has retained its original character from decades ago, exuding an atmosphere of nostalgia and rustic charm. Begin your exploration by visiting Nezu Shrine, Tokyo's oldest shrine. Capture stunning photos of the Torii gates and deepen your understanding of Japan's traditional Shinto religion. Following this, stroll through a residential area where many locals reside, encountering charming local shops and food stalls along the way. Wrap up your journey by indulging in delectable gourmet food at Yanaka Ginza, the shopping street that epitomizes traditional Tokyo flavors.

      Sensei so nice
Making soba for the first time was incredibly interesting, with more techniques than I expected. I learned some tips, so I’d like to try it again.

      Great experience for Japanese cuisine
We had amazing experience with soba noodles making! When you traveling in Tokyo for too many time and you want to get more experience in japanese cuisine. This is the best choice for you to choose. If you travel in Japan you definitely try Ramen before. Do you wonder how they make the noodles and taste is so good that you can't find like this in your country. Making soba noodles is one of the experience that I recommend you to try. This time I got full course with my friend, we really enjoyed and 100% recommend you to try.

Good fun activity for whole family
We booked this trip because my daughter is a big fan of Cup noodles. So the first thing of this trip was near perfect timing of our guide at exact 1 pm. We reached the entry gate of the factory around 12:45 or so but our guide, and Japanese people in general were time perfect and she met us at sharp 1 pm. She helped us with finding a locker to put our luggage, then entry into the Museaum, and then to activity area. We had a great timing coloring the cup, drawing on the cup, and then finally getting it packed and sealed as souvenir. All in all, good fun activity but the sad part was that because of rush on 4th April, we could not participate in the NOODLE MAKING exercise. So my only suggestion for GOTCHHA people is to please check and ensure that booking should be done on timely basis so as to cover all activities. I would strongly recommend this activity if your kid or you loves cup noodle and want to have first hand experience of the whole process of it.

      Learn all about Japanese food
This tour was so interesting. Our two lady guides taught is so much about Japanese food, showing us many local and unusual food stuffs and explaining how to cook with them. Really broadened our food horizons. Will be trying out new dishes when we get home. The tour also provided an excellent opportunity to shop for foodie gifts to take back.

      Don’t walk, run.
This tour ruined our last day in Tokyo. The tour was not how it was advertised, as Rohit, the tour guide, knew nothing about Japanese culture, history and politics. It is rare to see a Japanese company act so dishonestly and we are very saddened by it. The tour talks about visiting the Imperial Palace, which is why we spent so much money for the tour. This was a lie. Rohit was walking around with google maps on, spent half the tour insulting Japanese people, culture and his bosses. He insulted Japanese way of living, work ethic and manners. He doesn’t have respect for anyone. If you didn’t ask him a question, he wouldn’t talk about any monuments or anything at all - the premise of a walking tour is to speak. I have done walking tours around the world and the tour guide always speaks. The few times he answered questions was to say that he didn’t know or to mumble something completely wrong. For example, when we asked him what the Diet building was, he didn’t know (the Diet building was part of the itinerary).
