What to expect
For this lesson, all of the utensils and ingredients will be prepared for you, so that all you will have to do is to show up with an empty stomach.  You will start with “Dashi”-making which is fundamental soup stock of Japanese cooking. You will learn about some of the typical Japanese seasonings frequently used. By going through the process of preparation of toppings, making sushi rice, rolling and shaping, you will complete the beautiful sushi plate of 7 pieces of popular Nigiri (hand-shaped sushi), Inari (fried tofu pouched sushi) and 3 kinds of sushi rolls. Most of the process will be accompanied by instructor’s demonstrations so that you will know how it goes and make it easier.  Besides instructors are around to assist you, so feel free to ask any questions. When you're finished, enjoy your creations garnished with freshly grated wasabi, cozy miso soup and green tea.

Amazing experience
Nov 2019
The sushi making class was fantastic!!! Yuki and Yumi were very knowledgable, helpful and patient. I have learnt so much and enjoyed the class even more. Everything was perfectly organised and the food we prepared was amazing. Everyone was very accommodating - we came with my visually impaired father-in-law. Thank you - he enjoyed it very much - sorry for the mess. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn not only about Japanese cooking but also about your beautiful culture and country. I appreciate all the effort that you put into teaching us and will always be grateful for that. ありがとうございます

Fantastic class and great teacher 😊
Mar 2020 • Couples
We had a great experience at this cooking class. The set up was really professional, and we had the chance to make quite a few different things and had lots to eat at the end. The helpful recipe card means that we will definitely try to make sushi at home. We would definitely recommend and book again! Thank you so much 😊

Feb 2020
I did the sushi making class. I ended up being the only person in the class. It was really fun & informative. My teacher was really nice & explained everything very clearly. She would show me how to do everything & then I was able to do it myself. Also did a sake tasting at the end. Directions to find were very easy & the facilities were very nice. Highly recommend!

Jan 2020
Learned to do different sushi in 3 hours. Despite having only me and my sister attending the class, we had fun and actually learned new things. The sensei, Aya. K is knowledgeable and she shares educational facts about certain food as well. She ensures that we had fun learning in a safe environment, the food was great! Just one of the best sushi i ever had especially the egg roll! The sensei is also good in English also patient with us when we took some time to do certain things. Thank you so much for the warm and different experience! Worth the money, highly recommended!

Amazing
There were two two students, so the class felt very personal. Ayu (I hope I remember her name correctly) was super cool. She not only taught us how to make the dishes, but also about the history of the different dishes and ingredients. I’ll definitely try one of their other classes when I’m back in Tokyo in the future.

Fun way to spend a few hours in Tokyo
Nov 2019
This was a great class and my wife and I were happy we decided to do it. The class teaches students how to make both nigiri and maki. They also cover how to make miso soup and dashi, which is the base of so many Japanese dishes. The instructors speak English and understanding them was never a problem. Despite neither of us being particularly skilled in the kitchen, my wife and I both ended up with two beautiful plates of sushi.

Great Class, Learned a Bunch
Nov 2019 • Couples
We make sushi at home a few times a year, but still learned a ton from this class. We made three types of rolls and seven types of nigiri, plus dashi broth for making miso soup and tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette). Teachers had excellent English and took time to make sure we got the handle of things. I recommend for singles, groups, families with junior-highers or older, or even middle-schoolers with an interest in cooking.

Thank you very much for your great review! I am very happy to hear that you learned a lot from the class. I hope you will be able to reflect what you learned in the class in your sushi making at home, and enjoy it at the same time. I also enjoyed your company. Thank you again for taking our class. Hidemi
