    Walking tour
Great tour of the back streets, great local knowledge of the area. Got to see Cherry blossoms, and a better understanding of the Japanese culture, nothing traditional and modern interpretation.

    Great introduction to Tokyo
I had a fun time taking the free walking tour in Tokyo. Our guide Kim was very knowledgable about the culuture and sites of Tokyo - all that with a great sense of humor. I booked various free tours through Japan Localized and had the same fun experiences in all Cities.

Nice and interesting tour around Harajuku
We did the Harajuku tour with Miyu, it was very interesting! She is a very nice and friendly guide, she showed us the Meiji Shrine and gave us a lot of historical info about the Japanese culture! On the second part we went to Takeshita street, a nice and funny shopping area. I will recommend it!

    Perfectly paced tour for Asakusa!
Perfect way to see Asakusa (Sensoji temple, Nakamise St, etc). The tour was 2 hours, and was just perfectly spaced out. The guide was knowledgeable and gave us a great crash course in the history / culture / customs of Japan in general, and this area in particular. I wasn't sure how much to tip the guide, so I asked in a few public forums - it seems ¥1000 per person was the right number, so that's what I went with. Overall very pleased with the tour - perfect length of time, not boring, very informative, and moves at the right pace. Highly recommend doing this!

    Touring Shinjuku night with Nana
I would like to highly recommend Nana, our walking tour guide in Tokyo. Nana was absolutely wonderful - a perfect blend of professionalism, warmth, and authenticity. She shared fascinating information about Japanese culture and shared fascinating insights about Japanese lifestyle and entertainment that I would never have discovered in any guidebook. Her warm personality and great sense of humor made the tour an unforgettable experience. Nana tailored the tour to our pace and interests, revealed local leisure habits and pastimes, and even recommended authentic hangout spots that only Japanese locals know about. The tour with her was one of the most meaningful moments of our visit to Tokyo. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone visiting Tokyo to take a tour with Nana - it's a wonderful way to experience Tokyo through local eyes!"

Excellent tour of a beautiful and quiet area of Tokyo
Our guide, Grey, did an outstanding job providing history of the Yanaka area. Grey is also an American student living and studying in Tokyo, and offered interesting insights in that experience as well as providing more nuance about local living in Japan. Grey was patient and friendly and answered numerous questions from our group. Highly recommended.

    Peaceful, enchanting, fun tour!
The tour exceeded my expectations!! Mei was an amazing guide - full of knowledge and passionate! We walked through areas of Tokyo I never would have found on my own. I enjoyed learning about the residential areas, cemeteries, temples and customs. Mei was kind and gracious ensuing we had enough time to take photos and spend time experiencing each spot. I highly recommend this tour either by yourself, with someone else or as a family.

Keiko was a wonderful guide…totally immersed in her subject. She kept moving us along from one delicious stop to another explaining each delicacy. She was funny, warm and knowledgeable. She was our “mother hen” as we walked through the maze of stalls.

We took the Tsukiji Tasting Tour with Keiko. What an amazing tour and a truly wonderful guide. Keiko brought the market to life, with stories and information and history, all the while treating us to an astounding variety of delicacies from local vendors at the market. This is an experience not to be missed. We are so grateful to spend the morning with Keiko

We had a great time at the fish market. Keiko (I hope I spelled correctly) was our guide for the day. She did a great job of explaining the food items and the Japanese culture. Very informative tour. I’m glad she had us try things we normally would not have ordered. Thank you Keiko!

Keiko took us to the oldest Tokyo fish market. She was amazing, told us us about history, let us taste multiple foods including exquisite sakura taste ice cream. Taught us about Japanese culture and mentality, answered all our questions. Would definitely recommend her for tours around Tokyo!

Keiko met us and showed us around the outer market. Explaining a bit about the history of the market. She was extremely knowledgeable and described the food samples she bought us and a bit of background on each item. She was very helpful with sorting out any purchases we wanted to make. Then we went to the old auction house and a shrine where she explained more about prayers being offered and some more information about the beliefs of Japanese people. Thoroughly recommend this experience

Amazing tour of the old fish market! My wife and I were in Japan a decade ago and went through the market ourselves. 10 years later we brought our children ages 9 and 7 and we couldn’t have been more delighted. We realized in hindsight how much we missed out on when we did it ourselves. Every bite was delicious and perfectly selected. There was a wide variety if food and you did not leave hungry. We really appreciated all of the explanations that went along with the tour. It was a great pace and a small group size which we prefer. We do lots of food tours and this is by far the best we have done!
