        Wonderful Ireland Tour
I have been on many tours over the years but have never encountered a tour as fun and informative. Our guide Michael and driver Liam were courteous, very funny, and extremely informative. Everything was on time and efficient with Liam providing a smoothly skilled ride in great comfort. This was the large tour which turned out to be far better than the more expensive small group tour we utilized on a later tour. You will not go wrong with Paddywagon Tours! Absolutely fabulous!

        Best tour guide-Stevie
How do I even begin… The Paddy Wagon tour of Ireland came recommended for an informative and engaging way to explore the country and it delivered in every way. The part I wasn’t expecting was for our guide to feel like family by the end of our 3 day experience. Stevie gave us a trip to remember forever. His engagement with his guest exceeded any expectation. He made an effort to connect with each and every one of us. His banter and loving personality resulted in smiles and laughter for the whole day from all of us. He guided us on all the scenery and activities we encountered so we all were able to have a full impactful experience of Northern Ireland and show us a few extra local attractions that enhanced our trip! At the end of our visit we found ourselves at a tattoo parlour in Galway with matching shamrocks for 5 of us to remember this incredible trip( including my mum for her 70th birthday)! I have fallen in love with Ireland and if I am ever lucky enough to return I would book Paddy Wagon in a heartbeat and make sure to secure Stevie for the most amazing experience ! Erin

Awesome day visiting Galway and the Cliffs of Moher and everything in between !!
Fabulous Day Trip experiencing the amazing Cliffs of Moher and Galway and beautiful countryside in between. We were blessed with warm sunshine and a truely wonderful tour guide Richard O'Brien. Richard filled our bus time with many really interesting stories and Irish info and went out of his way to manage our travel time well with fitting in a couple of extra short stops like Dunguaire and Bunratty Castles. Lunch at the Frantic Chef Restaurant was delicious. Thank you Richard for all your extra efforts ... not easy getting everyone back to the bus on time!... but you managed it !! and the rewards were much appreciated.

        Brilliant day at Moher Cliffs
The tour was amazing and so was our driver Jay Jay. Every year I take a trip around the date of my husbands death. This year I scattered some of my husbands ashes on the cliffs of Moher. How beautiful it was. A scentimental day that I will never forget. I have to brag on our tour operator. What a great personality he had and so knowledgeable! Thanks again for a brilliant experience!

Day tour to Blarney, Cork and Rock of Cashel
Our day tour was great! Alex, our driver and tour guide was very funny, friendly and very knowledgeable, sharing many wonderful facts and stories on the history of Ireland as it related to our different stops! The only challenge to the tour was the pick up location, which was a bit confusing as there were no signs, so even with the GPS, we still weren't sure we were at the right spot. Other than that, we had a wonderful time ,and Alex was an awesome driver and guide!

Day tripping in the Irish countryside
We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The guide was informative and receptive to questions along the way. Her driving was excellent especially along the narrow winding roads on parts of our trip.

Great price for visiting the castle and cork
Gerry was great at driving and adding commentary. He was friendly and on time. He made sure we had plenty of restroom breaks and he gave us a lot of time to explore. I do wish the itinerary included a longer time for Cork. It’s a city worth exploring all day.

Wonderful tours (giant's causeway, cliffs of moher)
The tours were absolutely amazing! If you have the chance, book Richard! He's like Gretchen, knows everything about everything! And remember that, if you're late, the local cab company number is 70 70 70.

Our experience was excellent. Richard O’Brien was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and his commentary and stories made the day extra fun. This tour was an excellent way to see these incredible sights. We did not feel rushed or too pressed for time, it was a great day

        Gerry Rocks!!!!!
We had the most wonderful day visiting the Cliffs of Moher. Our driver Gerry made the trip so enjoyable. He entertained us with stories and history of several high points along the way to and from the cliffs. We were fortunate that it was only raining lightly when we arrived, but it poured rain just as we were leaving. Gerry rates a 10/10…

A must when you visit Dublin!
After going through many reviews of tours to the Cliff’s of Moher we decided that Paddywagon was the best option for us. As a Travel Agent I had high hopes of finding a tour that we truly enjoyed and that I could pass on to my clients as a recommendation. Paddywagon Tours was everything we had hoped it would be! Fun, informative, punctual and so good that you didn’t feel like it was a long day! Richard was such a great guide and made sure we had the best time. He definitely loves his job! Thank you for the fun adventure. We highly recommend you and look forward to sending many clients your way.

Great Tour, even better example of humanity
Tour was fantastic, our guide Ian was beyond knowledgeable and made the trip so much fun. He also deserves recognition for rescuing a lost hiker he saw stranded on the side of the motorway. The lady and her dog had gotten lost in the woods and wandered miles off course to the edge of the motorway. Ian spotted her in distress, retrieved her from the side of the road and returned her to her car just before darkness set in. Then he turned the detour into an impromptu tour stop to see an old church and Celtic high cross he knew of in the town. The day was both a wonderful tour and a wonderful illustration of genuine humanity, Ian (and Paddywagon) get 5 stars on both accounts.

        Unacceptable Driver Disrespect and Unprofessionalism
Please be advised that I was recommended to your company by a few friends that hat have been here several times. I went on the tour today to Cliffs of Moher. I’m extremely disappointed in a couple of things. The driver, JJ. he asked our entire tour group if anyone had any complaints to let him know as he dropped us off at Galway. i took a picture of the tray of the seat i was in to send to you. If he wouldn’t have asked, i wouldn’t have told him. As I Walked off the bus, i let him know about the dirty tray and said it was dirty and gross. (see attached). When we came back he said he couldn’t find it so we showed him. he said he could barely tell and have us a baby wipe to clean it.He asked again what we said when we walked out and made a big deal of it. And i told him we care about cleanliness. He proceeded to say Oh my God, and really? And some other choice words as to make fun of it. I told him I took a picture to send you) and that seemed to upset him. He then went to the front of the bus after everyone walked in and announced on the microphone… that we are “special” to give complaints of such things, after he had originally asked for complaints! That we are “lucky” to be on this luxurious bus that has spacious seats and treats because the “regular” paddy wagon buses are basic and do not have this. Still on the microphone statin that we did NOT pay 500 eu for such service for him to clean it and “you know where you can put that!” (on the microphone!) I have been traveling for an extremely long time and have NEVER experienced such disrespect and unprofessionalism. The way he handled this situation was uncalled for! Unprofessional, embarrassing to your company and paying clients, and irrevocably UNACCEPTABLE!!! How dare he say such things to me on a microphone for the whole bus to hear or to me alone period! In addition, he was telling the entire bus tour stories about his orphanage and how he was a troublemaker, eventually talking about alcoholism, and other things that no one on the bus was interested in hearing. He also continuously kept asking for todd, cash, electronically, etc. If he is worth the top, he shouldn’t have to ask for it. What kind of people do you hire? 2. The tray was dirty. these buses should be cleaned after every tour. I understand that it is not your company’s fault that they get dirty, but should definitely be cleaned, especially after covid. I can guarantee that you would not to put anything on this tray. 3. There was a long beeping noise for hours of this tour bus. He stopped to follow instructions from another one of your employees which extended our drive home and extended the entire tour by an hour. It turned out to be the air conditioner and that was figured out by one of the women on our bus. Do you not test these things on your buses? 4. Your company should have sent an email to the people who purchased the tickets that your restaurant does not take credit cards, cash only, PRIOR to the tour to have been prepared.

This was a last-minute replacement for a tour that was canceled (not Paddywagon). I knew nothing about it, but was happily surprised. Aside from the bus being packed, the ride was short and the day was perfect for a wander around the graveyard, churches, and a lovely walk to the lake. It is just enough time to see everything, grab a coffee and have a bathroom break, and not feel rushed. A great opportunity to get out of the city.

Took the Glendalough and Wicklow afternoon (half-day) tour with Alex. Booked it and boarded their green and orange bus on time in front of their O’Connell Street office near the Spire and across from the General Post Office (GPO). We stopped to pick up a few more people waiting at the Molly Malone statue near St. Andrew’s Church and Suffolk Stret. Then we drove thru Dublin, along the M-highway and a secondary road as Alex explained ‘bus rules’ on seating, promptness, and if we got sick.

As we drove thru the Wicklow Mountains (really just hills) we were told about the area as a location for movies like Braveheart (this seems to be a popular commentary on other tours too). But there was no quick roadside stop for scenic photos of white sheep in green fields encircled by yellow gorse bushes. Pity. We just sped on to Glendalough.

Once there the focus was walking to the two lakes in the valley with little time spent on the 6th century monastic settlement, gate, tower, church and, Celtic crosses which we had to go thru to get to the lakes. No mention we could buy a descriptive brochure at the Visitor Centre for 50 cents. The washrooms were highlighted. Clean and functional.
Outside the St. Kevin Gate entrance to Glendalough are some merchants in tents selling touristy schlock. A better option is a store across the stone bridge to the little town. Naturally there is a bar and café too.

Late in the afternoon rain began so everybody returned promptly to the bus for our non-stop quick ride back to Dublin. But instead of dropping us off at the O’Connell Street pick-up point, Alex dropped us off near Leeson Street because that was closer to his bus depot location and more convenient for him. Not very convenient for tourists who are not familiar with the maze of downtown Dublin streets.

This tour is inexpensive at 33 Euro and does give a fast superficial overview of Glendalough but for those wanting a more in-depth experience, look elsewhere than Paddywagon Tours.
