Amazing experience in incredible settings
I really enjoy the tour and would recommend it to anybody considering visiting Shifen, Golden Waterfall and Jiufen in one day as it would be more challenging if you try to organise it independently unless you have a car. Here, a friendly guide does all the thinking for you so you can just enjoy the day with your friends plus you learn more about the history, culture and traditions as well as getting food recommendation from a local. This is priceless information! Overall, VERY good value for money! Thérèse (Singapore)

Wonderful Experience with delicious food!
Vivian was wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed the night market with Vivian’s excellent guidance. She was familiar with the vendors and helped us choose foods. All were delicious! She also told us about the history of the nearby temple. We had a great evening with her and highly recommend this tour with Vivian.

Immersive mountain forest experience
An immersive experience of a magnificent mountain forest. Well planned in that the walking was all downhill! We didn’t realise we couldn’t use a stroller, so this was an ambitious tour to do with a toddler (15 months). A backpack would have been better than carrying and walking with her. Our guide Cook was patient and good humoured and did his best to make our experience enjoyable and memorable.

Tour with Jeffrey Wu is the BESTTT
Jeffrey Wu is the best tour guide! Super knowledgeable, personable, and funny! We thoroughly enjoyed how varied the experiences were in this tour, from the waterfall, to the Geopark, to the lanterns—everything was beautiful, memorable, and so worth the trip. We were never once bored. Communication is via WhatsApp so make sure at least one person in your group has that downloaded—instructions and pictures were very clear so we were never lost or confused.

Pleasant evening at Shilin
This was a very comprehensive introduction to the Shilin market. We learned a lot of history and tried some interesting food. I would suggest that more input on personal tastes is requested so that the tour is more enjoyable. I wasn’t too crazy about some of the food. The last tasting wasn’t done because the vendor wasn’t there but an alternate should have been offered.

Throughly enjoyable evening tour with Alex
We met our guide Alex outside the MRT and he took us for some Bubble Tea, worth trying if you haven’t had it. Alex pointed out a small clock building? Near the MRT exit. Every hour it lights up and a train runs around a small track and plays music. Something we would have missed ourselves. In the Market, Alex shared some favourite dishes.. We tried Pork Buns, deep fried 3 types of mushroom, BbQ fried chicken and Grilled mushrooms - the portions were large and were full quite quickly. We also visited the temple - just next to the market. Alex shared some interesting facts about the temple and the Taoist beliefs.

Our guide is great. But only bad is the weather, 15th March 25. It was pouring heavily at jiufen, wet n slippery. Bringing my elderly mum is very different to walk around. Overall it great without any hassle

Great evening touring Raohe Night Market
Had an amazing tour with Alex. He explained all the different food stalls and very enthusiastically shared his favorites with us. We were so full and couldn’t eat any more so he took us to the temple next door and walked us through the history. Overall a great time. Highly recommended!

A Wonderful Night with May Ei at the Night Market
We enjoyed this 2 hour walking tour of Raohe Night Market! Our guide, May Ei was awesome! She is a kind, energetic person who took the time to explain many things about Taiwanese culture! She easily navigated a very busy night market and introduced us to foods we had never tried before! May truly loves life and brings this energy to the tour! Must do in Taiwan
If you do nothing else, sign up for this tour. The itinerary really covers a lot and I feel that there was ample time at each of the sites. My guide was Thomas Wu who did a fantastic job wrangling a large group in at times very crowded places. He was patient, informative and organized. Highly recommend this tour!

Top tour to maximize time in NE Taiwan
Fantastic tour. I had just a couple of days off work and wanted to see key sights beyond Taipei. This tour did the trick, hitting the high points of the northeast. Roben is a terrific guide, knowledgeable in the extreme and somehow with ease and grace wrangling 40 wayward tourists.

Jerry is a remarkable tour guide. He is exceptionally well-prepared for any situation. He provides cold water for long walks in the heat, umbrellas when it starts to rain, and wet wipes for when we have lunch. We are immensely pleased with this tour.

Culture and nature all day long

We enjoyed many sights that cannot be explored by public transportation or by individuals with a Japanese Guide.
The Guides are well distanced, friendly when we are together and have plenty of free time. They take a lot of photos and send me information and photos on the LINE connected for the day.
They will introduce you to a tea house in Jiufen, a lantern shop in Jiufen, and other establishments that satisfy you both in price and service.
They took us to the beach in the nature park, to the mine ruins, to the waterfalls, and finally to the night market, where we could fully enjoy the culture and nature.
