Vincent was great. He communicated well via text prior to our day trip and arrived on time. He was a very good driver, communicated clearly what to expect at every spot. Showed us all of the different stone heads in Yehliu geopark which was amazing. It was a windy day but still very beautiful. We took some shortcuts to avoid the long lines. He also took a lot of group pictures for us. Shifen old street is very charming and we had my favorites Taiwanese snacks there. Finally, the balloon send off in Juifen was a highlight, followed by views of the beautiful Juifen waterfalls. Given that we were in relatively decent shape, the amount of walking was perfect but in order to go see the specific sites, it would be difficult for someone who has difficulty ambulating. Vincent provided a lot of details about the sights and surrounding areas. His English is excellent. Highly recommend an absolutely amazing day in beautiful northern Taiwan, including both the coast and high mountains.

We had an exceptional experience with Jackson. Having the private tour meant we could be a little bit flexible which worked so well as the weather was patchy. Jackson is extremely knowledgeable about everywhere we went including the best spots to eat and take photos. He is also a great photographer so our photos of the day are loads better than our usual ones :). We learned a lot and each destination was so interesting

Nicolas’s tour is super thoughtful and thoroughly enjoyable. He is very communicative and prompt. He has deep knowledge of the history, the food options and photo opportunities across all the places. Loved seeing the falls, sending off lanterns, eating fresh guava, ice cream, jiufen restaurant, and seeing all the cats in houtong. He has also formed good relationships with store owners in the area, which is very evident in his interactions and no wait. He even has restaurant and tea recommendations that we got to enjoy during the rest of our stay. We left from taipei at 9am, but recommend starting even earlier to minimize the crowds. Thanks for an amazing tour!

We had an amazing day with our guide, Nicholas, who went above and beyond to make our tour unforgettable. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel lobby, Nicholas was attentive and ensured we had a great time despite the rain. He took us to all the must-see spots in Yehliu, Jiufen, and Shifen, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. He helped us take lots of pictures, introduced us to delicious local cuisine, and gave us great tips for the rest of our trip. Nicholas was always prompt with his communication and made sure we felt safe. Thanks to his local insights, we were able to avoid the heavy foot traffic and truly enjoy the sites. We booked a custom tour for two and were picked up promptly by Jimmy, our guide and driver. He took us to all the sights on our itinerary. Jimmy was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Taipei and Taiwan from him. He was a very good guide. If there was a negative it was that he was a very slow driver (going 60 in a 90) so drive time was longer than expected. Otherwise good tour.

Excellent service. We were treated like kings. Our guide Henry knew all the tricks and shortcuts to let us use our time the best way possible. Tasted a lot of delicious meals and help us reduce queues or waiting times in crowded places. Would recommend 100%. One of our best tours ever.

The tour company, YOLO, was very responsive in answering any questions I had. Our tour guide, Hicks Wang, accommodated our request to start a half hour earlier with pickup at the Keelong cruise terminal. We left the sights to visit up to him and he did not disappoint. Hicks managed our time efficiently and got us to two different changing of the guard ceremonies right on time. This was our first time in Taiwan and thanks to Hicks, we got a great overview of the island along with its history. Hicks made sure we were well informed by answering our questions and ensuring that we were comfortable. He also took great photographs of the two of us. His English was very good which is important to enjoying your tour. If you’re thinking of a private tour in Taiwan, we highly recommend Yolo Tours and request Hicks Wang for your guide.

Nice sightseeing tour of Taipei. Covered most all of the major points of interest in this tour. Vincent Lee was great. He was very knowledgeable and tries his best to customize a tour course based on your personal preferences. Really, I think that’s what you want most from your guide. He’s very thorough. Also.. he loves taking action photos of you and Taipei’s highlights in the background!

One-day cruise ship visit. First time in Taiwan. We wanted to experience old & new Taipei & local culture. The company sent whatsapp contact info 1 week before tour, including driver/guide name & contact details. Guide contacted us several days before tour. Pick-up at Keelung Port was on-time, easy & uncomplicated. We saw Longshan temple, local food markets, Taipei 101 tower, Chaing Kai-Shek memorial hall, martyrs shine, changing of the guards, Keelung night food market & had a wonderful Taiwanese beef noodle meal at a small restaurant very popular with locals. Our guide, Chaing Chaing was knowledgeable & personable & gave us a memorable touring experience. Thankyou again Chaing. Everything we had hoped for. Highly recommended.

Wonderful half day tour to Juifen, Shifen old street, sky lanterns, old mine, amazing waterfalls with Roger. Roger was very helpful and kind and explained history, nature and gave important hints.

Despite the rain we had a good time. Yehliu geology park was amazing. Hick showed us most of the attractions and the best places to take photos At Jiufen he took us to a fishball noodle place that provided us with one of the best meal in our Taipei visit. Overall we are very happy with Hick Wang as our driver both as a tour guide and a driver. He has our strongest recommendations.
