When I first saw pictures of this place my soul was immediately calling me to go there! There is a saying: "Follow your soul, it knows the way!". I definitely can say this is true. I travel a lot and it's hard to find magic places like this these days. The incredible view over the bay, a starry sky I bet you haven't seen before, the beautiful nature, not to speak about the people, caring and warmhearted. A peaceful place if you want to get away from your busy life to refill your batteries, but if you wish lots of activity. A cosy bed to sleep and delicious meals were provided. If you look for a special experience off the beaten track you have to visit! They really took care of me and the service was excellent and very organized. I'll definitely come back :-)

We stayed in this little paradise for three nights in August. The hut itself, its terrace, the herbs in the garden, the monkeys in the trees afar, the ocean beneath the horizon and the sounds of thousands of birds made our stay the most remarkable of our trip to Sulawesi. If you need your phone 24/7 or are afraid of animals such as mosquitos, small spiders or cats, this place might not be the best choice for you, for everyone else I believe it is.
As if the whole setting, the comfortable bed and the authentic, delicious food (including fresh coconuts!) weren't enough, the most special 'thing' about his place is its heart: the owner. You will not meet anyone more concerned about your well-being and that you have the most pleasant stay possible (by the way - THANK YOU WEENY!).

Go ahead, book this 'place', because it is way more than a place to stay, it is a whole experience that almost gives you the feeling of having your little family away from home in Sulawesi.

- For rental:
This place is amazing. The hut has tropical ambiance and surprisingly comfy bed. There will be enough space in the living area and many seating options. The hosts are helpful and friendly. I really enjoy my stay here.

- For experience
It was a special journey. I like the off-the-beaten-path with its empty beach and rocky island, sunrise view from my hut, and the friendly community. Food was delicious and I got a fresh coconut daily. This is one of the most authentic experiences I’ve ever had.

Located on a hill overlooking a bay with coral reefs and islands. Fantastic views of the Sulawesi Sea and surrounding landscape. Parts of the area were being converted into a flower garden when i visited, i cant wait to see what it looks like when they all blossom. Keep your eyes open for wildlife such as the brahminy kite, a beautiful bird of prey, and native plants such as the giant arum with flowers the size of a basketball. Upon request, climbing the slightly higher hill behind the house for even better views of the surroundings together with a visit to the local village and farms can be arranged, as well as trips to the beach and island.
I give this place 5 out of 5 stars without any hesitation :-) Really if you are in the area you should not miss the opportunity to visit this gem!
