The 7km trek through Paradise Cave is a unique way to experience this spectacular cave. This tour takes you through the stunningly lit tourist section of the cave to the end of the boardwalk, where your guide will open the gate for you to step down on to the cave floor and begin your caving adventure. Explore the spectacular cave formations in the darkness with just the light of your head torch, perhaps see the endemic eyeless cave fish, and marvel at the wonders of this huge passage that is 100m wide and 150m high in sections. 7:30 Our car and tour guide will pick up you at your hotel, then transfer you to Paradise Cave– the longest dry cave in Asia (located in Phong Nha – Ke bang National Park’s core zone). Here your guide will give you safety instructions and cave equipment. You will then be taken by golf cart (1.6km) from the main gate through the jungle, to where you will then hike an incline to the mouth of the cave; a climb that boasts spectacular views of the mountainous region around the cave. You will then explore the first 1000m into the cave along a wooden staircase and boardwalk, you can admire hundreds of colourful stalactites and the stalagmites created over millions of years. Following our experienced and enthusiastic guide, you will continue beyond the boardwalk construction to venture inside more than 6000m of the cave, equipped with your personal flashlight. Overcoming the cliff path, which challenges the courage and perseverance of the explorer, you will discover and learn about the formation of stalactites systems that are colourful and rich in shape. The first 500 meters consists of a tube-shaped cave, where it is more than 80 meters high and 120 meters at its widest point. Occasionally we will encounter tall, block-like stalactite structures, glittering in its brilliance. Deeper inside, the stalactites and the stalagmites are increasingly diverse and unique. You will see rock formations with a variety of colors and designs, as if sculpted directly by a hand of the Creator. Life inside the cave exhibits a rich and biodiverse ecosystem which includes, but is not limited to: fish, bats, spiders and crickets. In the first 3.5 km you may encounter hundreds of bats clinging to the ceiling. Further along, there is the junction of two shallow streams where you can enjoy a cool breeze blowing from the spring. There will be a rest stop at 4000m, where you can take photos in this beautiful location and preserve this unique memory. After the break, you will continue to kayak over streams. Passing through a small part of the stream requires crouching down in order not to touch the ceiling. After finishing the small stream, the next journey gives you the opportunity to test your own courage to overcome the steep road and rugged land along the stream bed, where there are only narrow paths to thread through. From here, the cave looks like the labyrinth. Without a guide, it wouldn’t be difficult to find yourself lost amongst the cylindrical stalactites. After 1 hour, we will arrive one of the more notable sections of the cave, referred to as “the Heaven Well”. According to the oriental concept; this well exemplifies the harmony between heaven and earth to proliferate from the cosmos. Being brought so close to this feat of nature is mysterious and exciting in the simplest of ways. Between the stream is smooth rocks as if shaped by the hands of artisans, with different shapes and different colours; you may feast your eyes. After enjoying lunch beside the underground stream, you relax, take photographs and prepare for the journey back the same way. 4:30-5:15: Tour ends. You will be dropped back off at your hotel.

        Adventure, kayaking and privacy
If you want to discover a cave in privacy, adventure, do it. You do not need to be used in kayaking. Yo will like the intimacy and the cave

Great day tour of phong nha region caves
Excellent tour of Phong Nha caves - the trekking was great. The walk is a little challenging if not fit but our group (ages 12 - 57) managed fine. The swim in the crystal lake was awesome and the final cave the highlight as we swam / floated through caverns in life jackets

        A true jungle hike
This is a true jungle hike experience. We wore hard hats and full cover clothes for protection and lights in Elephant Cave, swam in a waterhole, scrambled up and down rocky mountains and viewed a river flowing through another cave. It’s the wet season and it rained a lot, making for difficult and tiring hiking in mud, and we couldn’t swim in Mada Cave because of the strong current. But a really rewarding experience.

        THAT WAS AMAZING
It was the best thing we experienced in our lives. The trip was prepared at the highest level, from the equipment to the routes and the knowledge of the guides. By the way, Layla, we love you, without you, your knowledge and great humor, it wouldn't be the same. WE DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ❤️

Elephant cave and Mada valley AMAZING
Had an amazing day trip through the jungle and to 2 beautiful caves. Our guide Layla was the best guide ever, she was attentive and gave us good info about everything. She also made us feel safe the whole time. In this trip you go to 2 caves, one walking and one swimming. Both are very interesting to see and its really an experience.

Amazing day. One of the best things we have ever done
WOW! What a trip. One of the best things I have ever done. Jungle Boss tours are amazing. Our guide was Ha and she was magnificent. The trip was so well organised from beginning to end. The trek was physically challenging at times (particularly in the heat). Our 12 and 14 year old children managed it and were ably supported by the team along the way. The food is fantastic. The lake is as picturesque as it comes. Would highly recommend. Thank you to all involved especially Ha and her superb team.

Perfect balance of hike, caves, swim!
Great tour! Perfect balance of hike - both easy and challenging, caves, swimming. Lunch was great as well! We were wearing shorts, but everyone else long pants. Shorts were fine but watch out for poison ivy. A great guide (Lin)! Remember mosquitospray! Your shoes will get wet but you can borrow from Jungle Boss. I used my hiking sandals all way and it was fine. We were provided with towels. Remember af bagpack big enough for the extra shoes, towels, water, etc. Awesome tour!

        A highlight of our trip!
This tour was definitely a highlight of our time in Vietnam. The cave was truly amazing and it was very cool to see the array of stalactites and stalagmites. We were picked up from our Homestay and taken to a hotel where we were given rubber sandals to wear for the tour. They only catered up to a size 43 so some of the guys had to squeeze their feet in! Note: you want these to fit snugly. We were told to put everything we wanted to take inside the cave into a wet bag (some were provided but if you have your own, I would recommend bringing it). We wore our bathers under our clothes because we knew the tour involved a swim and put towels and phones into the wet bag. If you have one of those waterproof phone cases with a lanyard, bring it. They sell them on the bus to the cave if you want to buy (they were not expensive). Wear clothes you feel comfortable getting wet and dirty! We arrived at the river leading into the cave and were given our lifejackets and helmets (with head torch attached) and headed into our inflatable kayaks. Off we went into the cave which was lit for about 1.5km. We continued to kayak for another 1.5km in the darkness with our torches on. The guide brings plenty of spare batteries and lots of water. We then left the kayaks and began our hike/rock climb another 1.5km into the cave. At this point the air was pretty thick and humid and it was quite hot inside the cave. Very sweaty! The hike was challenging and at some points quite scary. There were slippery rocks, steep faces and large drop-offs either side. Everyone took their time and made it through safely. The cave was never claustrophobic - it was very wide at all times. It was mainly the humidity and low oxygen that proved challenging, personally. We took frequent stops and water breaks and our guide told us lots about the cave. We reached the end of the hike and came to a small beach where we had the option of going for a swim before turning around back the way we came. I would recommend the swim, it was very refreshing and there were lots of sandbanks to stand on. After returning to the kayaks and paddling back towards the cave entrance, we stopped off at another beach and ate the lunch provided. We then walked about 700m to see the cave inscriptions and learnt about the Cham people. After finishing with a lovely easy walk though Fairy Cave (which is just inside the mouth of Phong Nha Cave), we kayaked back across the river to the bus and we’re dropped back at the homestay. Overall, would absolutely recommend the tour if you have a good baseline fitness and a good sense of adventure. We didn’t quite know what we were getting into so hopefully this review helps!

        Amazing and exciting!
This trek was truly amazing. Sarah, the guide and the porters guided and helped us on the way. The organisation was perfect as was the equipement. The trek was challenging, muddy and at times climbing steep rocks. The jungle was beautiful and the caves were exciting! Would totally recommend the trek.

A great trek and swim tour of amazing caves
A well organized trek. We were by far the oldest on the tour (early 60s) but did fine and enjoyed it immensely. There are several steep up and down parts, many involving sharp rocks which are slippery. The staff were very helpful to my wife to help her navigate the tricky parts. Two opportunities to swim and they were both fabulous. We also got fed a great lunch meal. The highlight is a swim in ‘Dark Cave’ which is 300m out (and 300m back) and it’s awesome!! Highly recommended but be prepared for some physical exertion.

Absolutely unforgettable!! A must for trekkers
The elephant cave and jungle trek is truly one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Sarah, our guide, and the porters led us with spectacular patience and care. The views are out of this world and an absolutely unforgettable experience experience. Just be prepared for an intense trek over sharp rocks, through rivers (sometimes up to the waistline). I cannot recommend this trek more for those who want to see the think jungle, caves and barely touched land.

We did Hang tien caves, 1 day cave exploration.
The staff was not diligent enough to gauge my fitness level or to give me enough information on the terrain of the trekk, so that i could make conscious choice of not opting for this. By the time they reached out and gave us some information, which is 2 days before, we had planned our itenary already and could not cancel things.
The tour guides were not supportive enough when i was struggling on uphill terrains, and kept saying you should have trained better, although he extended support and took my bag (which was not more than 500 gms., BTW) and made it a point to let other trekkers know that he is carrying my bag. I am not a trekker, and mostly was not fit for the this trekk, however, i have done trekks before, never i have seen guides been son irritated and demotivating
