Second trip with Mountain Freaks (EBC+Gokyo trek after Kazbek) and once again, a great experience. Ewa and Nika were thoughtful about their guests, they treated porters and local guides fair and managed our route to places which would not be possible for us to get to without them. It was our honeymoon and is there a more magical way to spend it than in Himalayas (ps. magical ≠ effortless).

What a great experience! Thanks to Mountain Freaks, had a wonderful time in Georgia. Everything was buttoned down to the last detail. From the beginning till the last day i felt that someone taking care of me and always knew what to do. Was nice to have a guide (particularly as one of the group was older). Our guide Solomon, was great and very helpful. Lovely hike (22km if you go the whole way) through the valley, mostly flat or inclines are not great.

The best place to find good adventure and fulfilling dreams. Guides are very professional and take care about every detail. We could taste Georgian culture and meet open and kind people. They offered the best views in Georgia and support every step in high mountains to reach Kazbek summit. I really recommend their offer of trips and equipment rental!

We had a wonderful experience with Mountain Freaks. The communication with Keti before our trip was great. She took time for a phone call where she explained in details the tours they offer and the pros and cons, considering the needs of our group of 10 people with children. This allowed us to make an informed decision on the Juta and Truso Valleys tours. Keti was our guide for both tours and she was just perfect. She shared a lot about the history and nature of the wonderful places we visited. Keti was also an excellent guide for our 6 kids from 4 to 13 years old. We felt completely safe with her and she managed to transmit to our kids a true pleasure for the hike and energy to complete the tour with a smile even when they started to be tired toward the end of the day. Mountain freaks also arranged the cars for our tours and for the transfer to Tbilisi, offering a transparent and professional service. Fully recommended. We look forward to the next hike with them!

Staff were very knowledgeable about the area and arranged transport for us to take independent day hikes. I was expecting their shop to be an annoying REI-like retail place selling water bottles and backpacks, but in reality, their only focus is arranging guided and independent tours. They arrange multi-day hikes to places like Kazbek and Mt. Elbrus - I can't comment on that but they did a great job for us. Their English - speaking staff were very efficient in arranging local drivers.

A wide range of equipment, responsive and kind staff. Flexibility and understanding in case of travel schedule changes. Chaukhi Pass and Blue Lake – hard day but great views. I recommend it to others and will use it again next year. Wish You all the best!

The girl at the agency who serves is very enthusiastic, super nice, and full of energy! Our conversation in the morning before setting off really made the rest of my day, which is especially great when it's a hiking day! Juta offers the most beautiful scenery you can find in the Kazbegi region, so unless you're only staying for a day to pass through or tick off a Lonely Planet cover, there's no reason not to go to Juta. The glaciers, meadows, and valleys of Juta made me feel like I was living in a poem or fairy tale. The signal on the Juta hiking route is good until you get deep into the camping area, so you can easily stay connected and communicate with the travel agency for return arrangements or updates. The communication with the travel agency was smooth, their responses were timely, and their attitude was great. The travel agency's location is also very convenient, just a 2-minute walk from the intersection in the town center. Unless seats are fully booked or you're traveling with a larger group and can hire a car, as a solo traveler, I can't think of any reason not to use this agency's services :)

The transfer to Jura exceeded our expectations by far! This is the whole package, professional info beforehand, safe driving and even some local tips and places were shown to us in excess of what was advertised. Can 100% recommend!

We asked Mountsin Freaks to organise three days walking whilst staying in Stepantsminda. They suggested three very different walks: first day Juta valley, with lovely views, sulphur springs and relatively easy walking. Second day was walking up to Juta (road closed due to landslide), then on to Chauka lake (which we had all to ourselves) and back to a delicious lunch at 5th season hut. Third day was more challenging: up to Gergeti glacier, but we were rewarded with spectacular scenery. Guga was our lovely guide for three days, who was great to be around. Mountain freaks were highly professional, organising just what we needed. Very highly recommended.

A professional agency with a human approach to the client. Great, substantive help in preparing participants for expeditions. Ewa tries to find a solution to every problematic situation with an emphasis on client. Despite provisions in the contract, they are flexible and try to meet the customer's expectations. I recommend!

We went on a full-day trekking expedition at the foot of Mount Chaukhi. The trek was spectacular. Our guide, David, was fantastic (and really necessary)! We organized everything last minute, but they did an amazing job arranging a perfect tour! Highly recommended. Thanks Dato and thanks all 😀

Due to personal reasons, I had to postpone the expedition until next year. The agency took a pro-client approach that I had never seen before. Despite quite precise contract, they showed great flexibility. This made me even more sure that choosing Mountain Freaks to help my dream come true was right decision.
