After our Open Water Dive course we did our first two dives here. The first diving site manta point was packed with divers, we did not a lot of diving and were mostly staying at the same place to watch the mantas. That was very impressive. The other dive site, Crystal Bay, was

Hello MBadgeS, Thanks for your feedback, we are always happy to hear from our guests and to grow as a dive operator. I'm happy you enjoyed our professional staff and felt safe on your dives as the conditions in Nusa Penida are notorious for being more advanced. Safety is always our number one priority at Nomads. I feel very discouraged at your 3 star review as the points you mentioned are out of our control. You decided to join us in Penida at the peak season which means lots of divers coming to explore our reefs hoping for manta and mola encounters. High season in Bali is from mid June to mid October. We try to bring people to the best possible dive sites considering their diving level and conditions that day, but the high demand for manta point means we go there almost every day. We have a late departure for this dive site so we head to the site after the busiest time (8am-10am). We also run a coral boat departing daily to less visited sites, maybe this would have been a better option for you. The temperature of the water is not something we can control, and Penida is famous for our low temperatures in high season which brings in some impressively large fish. Specifically the Mola (sunfish) which divers from around the world flock to Penida to face these cold temperatures in hopes of a chance to encounter this magical creature. But it also brings in some other incredible fish such as hammerhead and thresher sharks, and large pelagic fish which prefer the colder waters. Crystal Bay is one of the best dive sites for these chance encounters as there is a mola cleaning station here. I'm sorry you weren't able to see one as they tend to make you forget about the cold. For your future in diving I would recommend doing some research into the dive location you hope to travel too to learn more about the high vs low season, water temperatures, and special sightings. Send an email before your arrival to ask some of these questions if you aren't able to find it on the internet. There are some spots in Northern Bali that have warm waters all year round which may have been a better fit, but they don't have the biodiversity and large fish sightings we get here. If you find yourself back in Penida in November - June you will be able to explore the same dive site with 27-29 degrees water. Thanks again for your feedback and I hope you find warmer waters to explore and enjoy throughout your future in diving.

Second time we came to Nusa Penida and we had a great time diving with the Nomads Family! Our first dive at Manta Point was impressive, we saw around 10 massive mantas passing right next to us, but the highlight was definitely our last dive at Blue Corner with Adi!! 5 tresher

We came over from Bali so my daughter could do her Junior Advanced Open Water course (SSI) and so I could do some fun dives with her. We had also planned to see some Mola Mola but that unfortunately fell through. The boats are good and briefings well done, with a focus on
