Most beautiful place on Earth (for me)
This is by far my favourite place on Earth. First time I've been here was back in may 2022 and I fell in love with this place so I came back in may 2024 and this year (2025) I'll visit again. That's how much I love it! This desert is amazing: you have to take a jeep tour (most of the bedouin camps can put it together for you) and I would recommend a 4 to 8 hour tour, to see most of it because every part of it is different. You'll see red and sand dunes, the tall mountains that rise up straight out of sand, the unique shape of the rocks and mountains, and of course, a sky full of starts from a bedouin camp, in the middle of the desert. That feeling, stargazing next to a fire in the desert, it's amazing, unique and hard to experience somewhere else. I advise you to visit during spring or fall because of the high temperatures. Also, in may we had 37 degrees Celsius but they were bearable because there is no humidity and it's quite easy to breathe if there are no sandstorms (also caught one). During the tour I would adivsce to keep you ears protected with a scarf because it can get pretty windy at times and also keep your head and shoulders covered up so you don't get sunburnt. Spend at least one day and one night here, take the jeep tour and stagazing tour and immerse yourself into this amazing, ancient world <3

      Welcoming, reliable and flexible. Perfect.
We arrived 30 minutes early to Wadi Rum village and our super friendly tour guide was there already to greet us and at our convenience take us to the jeep and start the tour early. It was a lot of fun to sit in the open jeep as we were driven around. Since nobody else happened to have a tour on that day, we were lucky enough to have a private tour. From the start we were made very welcome with water and Bedouin tea from the tour guides home. We were driven to many stunning locations around Wadi Rum, and at each location we saw stunning nature and were offered more Bedouin tea from a local who usually had a store. Our guide was very flexible and we could choose how long to stay at each location - we preferred more time in nature and it was no problem to spend less or no time in the tents. At lunch we were cooked a delicious and plentiful lunch in the middle of the desert at a special quiet spot, and tried out some sandboarding. After lunch we visited more amazing places and then enjoyed sunset in the desert. We were then taken to our accommodation which was surprisingly amazing, it was spacious, had a hot water shower and we got more delicious food for dinner. We got picked up in the morning after breakfast and were sad to leave after such an amazing adventure. We would always recommend this company and they deserve their perfect 5 star rating. Our only regret was that we didn’t choose a 2 or 3 day tour with them, as the desert is so beautiful and the people so welcoming and friendly!

Such a beautiful place walking in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia, glamping in the desert and learning the rituals of coffee from the Bedoins

Varied, fun, interesting - and truly memorable
We loved this tour! It was so varied. It’s one of the few to offer a hike. There was even a chance to sand board (like snowboarding), as well as taking in the highlights of the spectacular scenery. Our guide was knowledgeable about the history and culture - but also good fun. The four hours flew by, but the memories will last a lifetime!

      Trip to the desert
Going with Bakir was my best decision in Wadi Rum. He provided me and my friend with great service. He took as to the most important parts of the desert so that we could do the most of our 1 day trip. The views were stunning and the ride in the jeep was a great adventure. The accommodation was lovely and the food was delicious. Everything was perfect and well organised. Bakir is punctual and very professional. I would definitely recommend visiting Wadi Rum with him.

Great experience in Wadi Rum with children
We spent 4 hours with Wadi Rum Desert Dreams. We were three generations, and Wadi Rum Desert Dreams had arranged a daytrip visiting some of the great sites and ending with a traditional lunch in the camp. We had enough time at each site for the children to explore the sites and the guides were very kind and responsive to our needs. We highly recommend this tour and company and Wadi Rum with children is great.

Magical Night in the Wadi Rum Desert
We spent a great afternoon and evening in Wadi Rum Desert Dreams! We started off being collected at the start of Wadi Rum and driven around the desert for the afternoon to many incredible spots in the desert. The team at the Desert Dreams camp went above and beyond to make the evening special for us, finishing the tour with Bedouin tea as we watched an incredible sunset over the vast desert. We then headed to camp for the night, where the accommodation far exceeded all expectations, it was incredibly luxurious! The food for dinner was delicious, cooked by Zarb, a traditional Bedouin way of cooking food underground, a truly unique experience! We then enjoyed some dancing and learning traditional Bedouin dance with the team, followed by a short drive away from camp for more Bedouin tea around a fire as we stargazed in the desert. It was a truly unique experience I’ll always remember! I would highly recommend Wadi Rum Desert dreams for a magical experience, with their great hospitality, in this truly incredible desert, a landscape like no other!

      Incredible evening desert experience
Our tour guide Rashid seemed a bit reserved at first but as we continued this changed. At lunch time he cooked for us and told us about bedouin culture, his family etc and we asked a lot of questions. You could tell he loves the bedouin community and tradition. At every stop he told us a few interesting facts and gave us as much time as we wanted. I didn’t expect to have such a variety of stops in a desert. He did that really well. Bakhir joined for the sunset tea. For the night Hamir drove us to the cave, cooked for us and prepared everything. For my friend and myself this part was probably the best part of the whole Jordan trip: walking just a hundred meters away I dived into the incredible stillness of the desert with no more tourist around, enjoying the view in a dimmed light. It was incredible. Hamir was a lot of fun too. He was just himself. We recommend this tour.

We had an amazing experience on this tour. It ended up just being us the whole day and at the camp which was no worries because everyone took care of us so well! The hospitality was unmatched. The tour itself was incredible views and such a unique experience. The dinner and breakfast at the camp was phenomenal, we miss the food already! Even was taken stargazing which was beautiful. Highly recommend this tour and company, don’t hesitate to book!!

      Worth visiting, avoid Ibrahim
Wadi Rum is spectacular and worth visiting. The tour company is probably good. My guide, Ibrahim, was uninterested in being anything other than a driver…hence my rating. When other tourists were with their guide, he stayed in the Bedouin tents. When I asked for a photo, he asked “how much will you pay?” Even my travel companion commented, “it seems you found the wrong guide.”

Incredible experience. The desert is sumptuous, Bakhir, Ali, Ibrahim and the chef are perfect: funny, welcoming, proud of their Bedouin traditions and eager to share them. The camp is ideally located for sunrises, the food is very good and the Bedouin tents are very comfortable.

Take a day off (or more) without activities to discover the surroundings of the camp.

Don’t hesitate, this is the place to go to discover the desert with the Bedouins and spend a few absolutely unforgettable days.

I had a great time on this excursion! Bakir & his family/coworkers/Laura were so helpful in catering this experience to my needs. For instance, I needed to head to Petra the next day after the tour and had originally arranged a taxi to take me. When he heard of this, Bakir first suggested I save money and take a bus instead, but then later actually coordinated my ride to Petra with other guests on the trip who we’re headed this way. This was so helpful, above and beyond the call of duty, and very much appreciated. Also, I ultimately stayed at the camp overnight and Bakir helped me organize this despite that it wasn’t part of the original booking.

The experience itself was so much fun! We saw all the sites, rode on the back of an open-top jeep, got to sand surf, and had a lovely meal mid-day + lots of tea. The evening was also a lot of fun and I highly recommend upgrading to the overnight if your schedule can accommodate it. I enjoyed this booking and would certainly recommend that you give it a shot !

Our little group of friends spent an incredibly amazing 24 hours with Wadi Rum Desert Dreams. We have arrived in the evening, where Bakhir and his cousins welcomed us, then received great dinner cooked traditionally, then we were resting around the fire while sipping warm tea and talking to other guests and our hosts who were answering to all questions, fulfilling our curiosity. Time by time we also had the opportunity to learn and dance local dances. Then we returned to our tents to sleep. It was really fun :)
The next day after breakfast Bakhir's cousin, Muhammad came to pick us on his jeep to start the full day tour in Wadi Rum desert. (by the way, if you have the opportunity ask for Muhhamed to be your tour guide, he was really excellent, very kind and informative)
We visited many picturesque lookout points, interesting rock formations and canyons, saw many thousand years old drawings in the rock, met with a camel herd and sledge in the sand. At midday Muhammad prepared a really delicious lunch for us and we also had the opportunity to learn about local music. The end of the tour was crowned with watching the sunset while sipping warm tea again. You are there in the silent desert, watching the red sun going down and realize how small you are in this world. It was really a unique experience.
We are really grateful for Wadi Rum Desert Dreams for this magnificent day.

Excellent full day tour of Wadi Rum with Bakhir! We didn’t do the overnight camp so arrived in the morning around 9am and spent the day with him until sunset. He was super nice, knowledgeable about Wadi Rum and let us customize our day based on how we wanted. Wadi rum is stunning so highly recommend spending a whole day there (even in the heat)! He prepared us a delicious lunch in the shade where we took a break during the peak sun time. And then another break for delicious Jordanian tea a few hours later. Such a great experience without being rushed :)

We visited Jordan for the second time in december and our trip was amazing. Visiting the wonderful wadi rum was an experience for a lifetime (even for the second time) we highly recommend to book your trip with wadi rum desert dreams. They are professional, believe me! It was so easy to organize the trip and to communicate with them. Special thanks to our tour guide, Yusef for take good care of us during the whole day and for showing the hidden gems of the desert and for the luch that was prepared by him on the top of Jabal Umm Ad Dami.
On the other hand, everyone was very kind and helpful we met on the way and it made our day amazing!
Thank you for everything, keep up the good work and hope to see you again and again in the future. 🤩🥰
    Best regards from Budapest, Hungary!

Wadi Rum Desert Dreams will give you an unforgettable experience in the Wadi Rum desert. Communications about booking we’re rapidly answered and questions were answered with extreme detail and helpful insight about coming to Jordan/Wadi Rum.

My friend and I were traveling from Petra to Wadi Rum and Bakhir helped arrange for us an amazing taxi driver, who we ended up using for all our transport around Jordan.

The experience with WRDD was unbelievable. Bakhir and his family made our whole Jeep group feel like a big family. They brought our bags from the rest stop to the tents and provided us with water throughout the day. The meals they cooked both for lunch and dinner were very good and authentic Jordanian cuisine. The tents were spacious and very nice, we were there in July and at night it got down to a comfortable temperature. Also, Bakhir takes amazing night photos of the starry sky.

Prices are very reasonable, fast communications, great food, nice lodging, friendly service, and trustworthy, Wadi Rum Desert Dreams provides a guaranteed memorable experience.
