Enjoyable day out at the Blue Lagoon. It began with a coach journey of about an hour, with a stop on the way to see a shipwreck and a banana plantation. These were mildly interesting but the most enjoyable bit was the boat trip to the Blue Lagoon. The lagoon isn’t particularly bluer than the surrounding sea, and it isn’t a lagoon either, more of a bay, but it was a lovely spot for swimming in the (pretty cold - but it was mid-March) sea. The boat trip, including our and back and the stop for swimming, was about 2 1/2 hours. Then back on the coach and a quick stop at the baths of Aphrodite (again mildly interesting), and then onto Polis for lunch. The restaurant they recommended was a pleasant spot, facing the town square, and the service was very efficient, although food fairly mixed (very good octopus, moussake inadequately microwaved). Then back to Paphos. At 5 hours in total it’s quite a long day but it was very enjoyable.

The trip is a really great experience to explore more of Cyprus and also have a dip in the beautiful blue lagoon. I did this experience for my partners birthday which was the last full day of our holiday! It was a shame it was our last day as I felt if we had done the experience sooner we would have booked more trips with them/ visited the areas we explored abit more. We luckily had a hot day in March which meant we could swim in the blue lagoon, the water was crystal clear but sadly no fish to see there! We stopped for lunch in the old polis town and the food was beautiful! Every stop we did was fantastic with beautiful views of Cyprus. All in all the trip was perfect

This was an amazing day out and well worth the money!! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We got to see loads of places we otherwise probably wouldn’t have been able to see but the highlight of course was the blue lagoon which was beautiful 😍 a very well organised day and I’d highly recommend. Pick up and drop off was very effective as well and took about 45 minutes each way to do all the pick ups and drop off so recommend bringing something to do in case you need entertaining 😆

I should start off by saying that the tour itself packs in a LOT, which is great. However, don’t expect a “guided tour” - the guide was upfront on the coach that this would be a self-guided tour, after info was given to us on the bus. If you’re looking for a tour that drives you between destinations, then this is the tour for you. However, it wasn’t quite what I expected. In the morning, the coach was late picking us up and due to a fault with the microphone, we had to make an unscheduled stop at the Rock of Aphrodite - which is on almost every tour itinerary, so nobody was thrilled about. By the time we got going, we had lost a significant amount of time. Viola, our guide didn’t have the best English (by her own admission, she had only been learning for the last 2 years), so despite plenty of good will, it became a little disappointing that we couldn’t follow a lot of what was being said whilst on the bus re the history of Cyprus. With that said, she did try hard to make sure we were all having a good time and she was enthusiastic throughout. The disappointment really set in when we got to the Salt Lake. Viola tried to manage expectations that we might not see flamingos, but to the disappointment of many of us on the coach, we didn’t even get to see a glimpse of the mosque. I suspect due to loss of time earlier in the day, we stopped “only to take photos” on the opposite side of the salt lake, meaning we couldn’t see the mosque at all. My biggest gripe of the day was our driver, Nikolas, who almost crashed the bus on 2-3 occasions and was honestly quite rude and dismissive. For instance, I tried to ask him for help while he was outside the bus smoking a cigarette, but he brushed me away and shouted “no english”. I used Google Translate to show him in Greek and he waved me away. He didn’t think to once mention that Viola was on the bus and able to answer my question. I tried to be positive all day, but the tour felt overpriced for the level of professionalism it offered - so when I got off the bus (after it had missed my hotel drop off, and I had to walk home) and didn’t tip, I was met with an icy reception from Viola and Nikolas. The day in general felt very rushed - I’m sure in part due to the unavoidable technical issues with the bus, and in part due to the packed itinerary. If you’re looking for a tour that ticks off destinations for quick photo stops, this is great. However, not ideal if you want to have more than a few quick pics in any one destination.

What an amazing day! 🌴☀️🛻 Konstantinos is a fantastic host & guide. He is very passionate about the island and has a wealth of information. The locations were stunning, and there was never a boring moment. He brought the island alive with his information and tours to the various locations. The Land Rover is an absolute star, and you can't miss it 😁. I would 100% recommend taking a tour with Cyprus Sunshine Safari Tours. You will not be disappointed. The tour lasts all day, and you are picked up and dropped off outside your hotel. It's only a small group, so the tour feels more special, and your not packed in. There's no rush at the locations and it is all very relaxed 😊.

Very informed guide Liza with a PH.d as well gave us very good value for money! Filled in the gaps concerning the Green Line and trip went to some interesting villages also.

Enjoyed experiencing how big Cyprus is though a bit fed up with being on the coach by the end of the day. Highlight was Larnaca, the church of St Lazarus was fabulous. Nicosia left us cold - all we saw was a shopping area. The guide was not the best we've ever had, a bit unfocussed. She obviously had a lot of knowledge but was often sidetracked to personal stories - her grandfather, her other job, her role with a local charity etc etc

A good way to see different elements of Cyprus pick up lots of interesting facts from a very informative and lovely guide and a very safe and competent driver. We went at end of Feb and things weren’t too busy to take a look around at the various stops. May not be suited to families with very young children who find coach rides too long to sit down for any length of time.

Super Mario was excellent! The adults and kids both loved him - he was funny and knowledgable. The tour is a a good mix walking in the gorge (best bit) and driving around seeing the natural beauty of Cyprus. It was good to visit places we otherwise wouldn’t have (eg. the villages) and he even added in a wine tasting (5 euro extra) for those that wanted to. Thanks!

This Jeep sitting in the back are all sideways It would be better if the seats were all the same direction as the driver seat.

We didn’t actually go on the tour. Constructours messed up big time and we were left standing outside our hotel. To add to our disappointment they were unable to issue a refund electronically and we had to go to the office to collect it in cash.

This trip is one not to miss! The Jeep experience is probably the most fun imaginable. I booked this trip because all the stop off points aren't that far from Pathos, but when the driving is mostly off road and this much fun 😀- more driving might be preferable! There are several stop off points - picked up from the hotel at 8.30 and back just after 5pm. Seeing so much of the greater Pathos area it really is a wonderful experience. There were 7 of us on this trip, a great bunch to spend a lovely day with. I am in Cyprus for a few weeks so this was a great introduction to the island. A lovely lunch near the Blue Lagoon, and just a day full of fun, laughter, adventure and smiles. This was all possible because we had the most wonderful guide in Yannis, who filled our day with all of the above. If you're looking for a fabulous and memorable tour around Pathos, this is the one!
