The lunch at the end is so good too! Well worth it.. we hadn’t rode bikes in years… but you never forget! You set the pace, there is a recovery vehicle. Its was absolutely amazing and il talk about it forever. You just get picked up and enjoy the ride! They have water, cool drinks, bikes helmets… lunch! It’s really fantastic!Written October 22, 2024

And the view was breathtaking. Highly recommend! Was out of my comfort zone! But just love a little! Mostly down hill… and you don’t ride back! We love the route very much, from rice field, ocean view, and the off road mountains ! The island is super peaceful beautiful nature. Pui our tour guide is the best. Fitness perks aside, it’s a great way to see the island and learn about the area. A good portion of the ride is off road too which was fun and the team were on hand so you feel supported all the way. khàawp-khun khâ from Sydney, Australia!Written September 11, 2024

- lindamI3626SR0 contributionsFun day out while learning about local areaThis is a great fun adventure Pui was our guide. Her knowledge about the local area & the plantations & local areas we visited was fantastic . We had a great mix of road & off road tracks. Off road was fun but sometimes challenging, but hopping off & walking is always an option. At the creek crossing we ended up with wet feet & a giggle at the situation We were indulged in plenty of treats along the way with a fresh cold coconut along with seasoned banana chips , then sticky rice with sugar served in a banana leaf later. Then lunch at the pier to top off a most enjoyable experience. Would recommend a little bit of recent bike experience prior to undertaking this fun adventureWritten August 21, 2024

She pointed out lots of wildlife along the way through the countryside. Snacks/drinks on route were nice. A well organised tour followed by lunch. Half day tour is very good given the humidity. Being avid hikers/trekkers the excursion wasn’t too challenging physically but it could for the average person who is not in shape. That being said they gave an option to form a fast group and a slow group, each with a guide which I thought was a great idea. Water, snacks and lunch was provided afterwards as well as pick up and return to our motel. During the excursion we enjoyed every opportunity to go swimming, including 2 that were underneath waterfalls. “Mit” our guide made it so enjoyable and gave us information in a way that made it fun. He was a local but spoke clear enough English that was easy to understand. We also encountered several huge spiders and other insects of the rain forest which was another highlight of my day. It was very hot and humid and good footwear is highly recommended for the challenging terrain. I’m glad I decided to bring my hiking boots! I would highly recommend this activity for nature goers and adventurer’s stay in the Phuket area.

Hi Corey, thanks a lot for your detailed review. This is very useful for others interested in booking this rain forest experience. I appreciate you describe the activity level based on your own fitness and hiking experience. Taking every opportunity to swim or shower under the waterfalls is the right spirit, it is fun and very refreshing!

Under the canopy of the rainforest, you could see Thailand's nature at its best. A hike of suitable length. On the way, we cooled off in waterfalls. I recommend putting on a bathing suit when you leave, or you can change in the shower or you can take a dip and swim in your clothes 😃 the clothes dry quickly 😃 The guide's interesting stories about the destination took us along. I recommend this trip if you want to see beautiful Thai nature and calm your mind in the middle of nature. Absolutely lovely! Must come again when we are in Phuket again☀️

A fun hike! We were glad we did it. Joris was our guide and he was great educating us on the highlights of the park. However we did find the hike challenging. We are not totally unfit but it was hard work trying to keep up with the group. As a result, we could not really appreciate the park as we were more focused on not twisting our ankles and keeping up. If you have knee or hip issues like us, we recommend informing the guide before the start of the hike so he can control the pace of the group. At one point we actually “lost” the group and freaked out a little lol. But it’s part of the fun. And good thing we had a great group who looked out for us for most of the way. Totally recommend the experience.

Thank you very much for your review of our rainforest hike. You are very right: people with a physical issue should definitely inform the guide, or even our office when booking the hike. You did very well by the way, it looked as if you completed the hike without much trouble. It is very important also during the hike to inform the guide when you think the pace is too high. We never hurry, the hike should be fun for everyone. Thanks for the recommendation.

An absolutely outstanding experience. Sax was our guide and he was able to guide us through the beautiful jungle and explain in detail about this hidden paradise. We completed the 4 hour trek with ease and he organised a delicious traditional thai late lunch. The swim at the waterfall was the perfect way to finish. A seemless experience from pick up to drop off. If you wish to experience the inner sanctuary of Phuket jungle, this is for you.
I would highly recommend this trek and we will certainly be back again.

Joris put the small tour jungle and waterfall hike hike together for me and 3 friends. The walk is exactly as described and is the most fantastic experience walking through jungle paths in the National Park and swimming in the natural river pond in the middle of the park. Joris was a great guide and gave us lots of interesting info during the walk. He collected and returned us from the cruise terminal ( despite huge delays by the cruise company) and provided a hearty local meal after the hike.
The hike is strenuous and not for the faint hearted or anyone with reduced mobility. If you are a keen hiker this is a must do.

The hike was wonderful. The guide was very funny and knowledgeable. He had a lot of experience. It’s a moderate hike. They divide the group into 2; slow ones and fast ones for those with different abilities. You will swim in a small pond and under a waterfall. Make sure to spray a mosquito repellant before you start. You’ll probably swim directly in your clothes and keep hiking.
They took us to a local street food place not a fancy buffet which I admired. Food is served at the end.

Hi Rayan, thank you very much for your review with a lovely title, and for joining our rain forest hike. You give a good and informative description, this is very useful for others interested in the tour. You can indeed swim in whatever you are wearing, you will be wet from sweating anyway, and the swimming is very refreshing.

Me and my wife have never done any sort of trecking or hiking before and we thoughrouhly loved this experience!
The hike was challenging in places, with areas you have to climb up and down a bit. The main challenge was the heat but we were supplied with plenty of water and snacks for our arrival to keep us going. Part of the way through the trip you can get under a waterfall or swim to cool off too!
Nikom was a brilliant guide! He was very knowledgeable about the local plant and wild life and he took time to talk to everyone in the group, getting to know us and answer everyone’s questions.
The food at the end was really good. We went to a little local Thai restaurant with more traditional Thai food on offer. Just make sure you ask for your food not spicy if you can’t handle the spice! :)

Thank you very much for this informative review. A well-chosen title, novice hikers indeed can do this, although a modest fitness level is required. The heat is a challenge, certainly in April, the hottest month of the year. But you will still find it coller in the rainforest than anywhere else. Nice that you appreciate our choice of restaurant. We hope to welcome you again one day!

A great hike! I'd recommend to anyone, it felt very rewarding at the end and was unlike anything I'd ever done before. The included lunch following on from the hike was very yummy too. Thank you Bikki for being a fun and energetic guide - and shout out to the dog too!

Thank you very much Amy for your 5* review of our rainforest hike! 'Fun' and 'unique' are perfect words to describe this jungle experience. There is nothing similar to find in the whole of Phuket island. And great fun it is, thanks to the waterfalls and jungle pools. We hope to welcome you again!

Best experience I’ve had. Took about 4 hours total. Knowledgeable guide, learned a lot. True hike, walking through the jungle made me feel like Tarzan. Ends with a beautiful waterfall. Bring shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting wet! You need to be pretty fit to complete

Thanks a lot for your review! Good tips you give, shoes fit for hiking, like sports shoes, are very important. Wet feet indeed are part of the hike, as you cross little creeks several times during hiking.

Hi lovely team, we booked your tour on the 9th January 2024 and I would like to know whether it is possible to have lunch without gluten. I will get very sick if I eat soy sauce, oyster sauce, Maggi or other powders. So I would need something plain, like plain rice or boiled egg or something grilled without soy or oyster marinade or anything containing wheat or wheat derivates... May you ask if that is possible?
Thank you so much as I am afraid of running sick during the tour.

Hi!
I have some questions about this activity.
Is there a WhatsApp number I can use to message the tour/ activity provider directly?
Thank you.

Hello,
I would like to have this experience but there is no body with me, I knew that the minimum to run the tour is two persons, how about if I book a private tour for one tomorrow ? Is it applicable?
Written June 27, 2022
Is it suitable for. Kids ( 4 and 8 years ) ? And the food is it halal for muslim ?
Written May 19, 2022
Hi, I'd like to know how fit you need to be to do the jungle trip? Is it mostly youngsters/marathon runners??
Written March 3, 2019
Hi Nick, participants vary, we have the runners, but mostly people with an average fitness level who love the tropical rainforest. Our oldest participants was a fit 72-year old man. The total distance is 8km these days, a bit longer as we have to get around a few fallen trees. The first part is rocky and goes sometimes steep up, the last part steep down, but the trail is very dry in these period, which makes it easier then in the rainy season. Good shoes, like sports shoes, are important. The pace is not fast and our guide makes regular stops.
Please advise if you need more information. Have a nice day, Joris
