- mariejos_el8090 contributionsWhat a great experience!Wow! One of the greatest experiences of our trip in Tuscany. The staff was competent, friendly and the site was magnificent. We learned a lot while cooking and we had a lot of fun!Written June 29, 2024
- Susan M0 contributionsA fabulous dining experienceThere were 11 of us for dinner including 3 children and one baby. The staff was incredibly accommodating and gave us a lovely table set apart from other diners. The outdoor setting was just lovely with spectacular views of the Tuscan hills. We all agreed that the food was excellent and the service impeccable. We were unhurried and treated like family- exactly what I had hoped to experience in Italy. I highly recommend for a fabulous dining experience.Written July 20, 2023
- Erica G0 contributionsPicnic in EvanstonLooked forward to taking a picnic down to Millenium. Easy to order online- pickup was very timely. In fact they won’t take a phone order. Unfortunately I didn’t ck and there were no forks or napkins included. (Seriously?) The Refrigerator Chop was excellent. The Salmon Simplicity w broccoli was a disappointment. The broccoli was way overdone as was the salmon which was of the same texture as shoe leather. Real dry and tasteless. Off to a bad start for our first visit to Picnic. New chef? Short staffed?Written August 20, 2022
- doddies20220 contributionsBeautiful eveningDinner with friends on the courtyard! Beautiful! The food was excellent and view amazing! And we were treated so well! I hated to go. Cooking class next visit! 💗💗 our stay was exceptional! The rooms were comfyWritten June 22, 2022
- Erika3130 contributionsThanksgiving 2021We had a truly wonderful time at La Chiusa. Everything was so well organized, staff super friendly and very can do helpful. Our highlight was the Truffle Hunt as Paolo and his charming Jack Russel Spugna, who has stole the show, we just so much joy to be around. The position of this boutique hotel is just stunning and the views are 360• Very tempting to jump into the pool, we loved the fact that it wasn’t covered even though the summer season was far over. It definitely added the magic to already spectacular scenery. Thanks to all and look forward to coming back again. Erika&JohnWritten December 7, 2021

Cooking classes, wine tasting and some of the the best dining you can imagine. Not to mention the beautiful country and the hotel where we stayed, just world class. Plus our hosts Linda, George and Whitney were just awesome. Then add the joy of sharing this with my daughter! We made memories that will last a lifetime. We’re still in touch with the great friends we made from our group. Do it! You won’t regret it. 💕Written July 16, 2020

- jsmit0260 contributionsA magical week in Tuscany everyone should experience! My mother and I attended the La Chiusa week in Tuscany experience last year. We spent a week eating delicious meals, exploring the many small towns of Tuscany, and taking cooking classes from several different Italian cooks. It was truly one of the best experiences of my life and far exceeded all of my expectations! When you go, be prepared to have a magnificent time! Once they picked us up from the train station, we never had to worry about our transportation. They took us everywhere we needed to be and provided all supplies that we needed. Linda, George and Whitney provided an amazing atmosphere and were wonderful hosts. My mother and I were lucky enough to be part of an amazing group made up of people from all over the world. It was truly a magical trip and I would recommend the experience to anyone looking to explore Tuscany with a focus on learning some traditional Italian cooking!Written July 16, 2020
