I had a half day tour, which have worked out well. Ram was flexible enough to accomodate my request to change the pickup location. We visited all the UNESCO sites in Kathmandu as listed in the itinerary. Ram was a great guide, he provided me with a lot of information regarding the history of the sites and the Nepalese culture in general. Definitely an interesting and informative tour.

A great tour of the UNESCO sites of Kathmandu valley. We booked this through Viator, and the company was very easy to communicate with. They picked us up from the Kathmandu airport and they were very responsive to my request to alter a site on the itinerary. It was a very full packed day. Our guide Ram was very knowledgeable about the sites and we appreciated him telling us about Nepal. We learned a lot about the Nepalese culture and history. It was a very enjoyable day and a great way if you have limited time! Do note that entrance fees are extra and are not included. It does feel slightly more on the expensive side but still felt it was good value.

Amazing trip, lovely hotels…. Especially the one in Kathmandu. I would ask to pay a little extra and fly from city to city rather than drive because it can be long and bumpy but other than that it was an awesome trip !

Thanks to Ramhari Timsina and our lovely driver Biren, we have had one of the best holidays ever! The company have been excellent communicators all the way through. They honoured our booking through Covid, and nothing was changed. We had an excellent driver on very terrible roads. We had water provided throughout and the hotels were excellent. Nepal is a beautiful, safe place and I would recommend to anyone to come and to work with Luxury Holidays to make a wonderful holiday for you too.

Picked up on time at 4.30am, about a 1.15hr trip to Nagarkot. Sunrise was stunning, great views and photo opportunities. Buffet breakfast at a nearby hotel with great views. Walk mostly down hill for 2hours which would be suitable for most, then a 20-30min uphill walk some may find this tricky, followed by another hour down hill. Our tour guide Ram kindly organised the van to pick me up after the first section and meet my fellow hikers by the temple entrance. Was great seeing village life on the walk. Ram had good knowledge of the conditions and trek route to ensure that we got the best views and trek. Check with your guide about what to take along with you.

The trip was amazing! Ram is very kind and he knows everything. He helped us a lot. The tour was perfect just what we want. We recommend him for any tour and for sure i will go with him for another tour.

I did my homework before booking this trip, reading countless reviews that consistently raved about both the company and the tour guide, and I can confidently say that I was not disappointed! This experience was nothing short of perfect, and I can't thank our guide and the driver enough. From the moment we set off, it was clear that we were in capable hands. Our guide's knowledge and passion for the area were truly remarkable. His insights and historical knowledge added a rich layer of understanding to each site we visited, making the journey educational and captivating. We used Luxury Holidays for a one week tour in Nepal and also for a one week tour in Bhutan. We added on an Everest Flight and an extra day in Nepal. I cannot say enough about how great this company was. I would not hesitate to recommend them for a tour in either country. They were on time, reliable, polite. Every tour guide in each location was amazing! Especially in Bhutan where you have the same tour guide the entire journey. Sangay - we loved him! The drivers were excellent. The tours were so thorough. We were lucky enough to travel during low season so we were alone on all tours. Chitwan is amazing! Elephant safari is a must! We recommend flying between destinations in Nepal, so easy! The roads are very bad, long, bumpy. Fly whenever possible! Airports are easy. Luxury Nepal meets you at hotel and makes sure you have all tickets, etc. The hotels (we did not upgrade) were all perfect for this type of travel (you are not going to find Ritz Carlton level hotels). It was so nice to travel for three weeks and not have to think or plan a thing - not the norm for us. So happy we chose Luxury Holidays! I almost want to put my phone number on this review so I can help fellow travelers chose their tours!

Overall very happy with the hike and service. Communication was smooth and efficient form the beginning. Pick up was on time and in a nice car, and surprisingly I was the only one who booked that day so had it all to myself! Bummed I didn’t see the Himalayas for sunrise due to weather, but did catch glimpses along the serene walk later on. Downside was not being prepared for leaches! Though Pradip was an A+ leach picker. Also just a note that the cafe we were supposed to stop at weren’t open so didn’t have much of a coffee/tea/bfast break which would’ve been nice. Upside was Pradip was a very friendly and social guide and I had a great time chatting to him learning about Nepal.

I am so glad to have booked this tour. Thank you, Ram and Biren. I arrived in Kathmandu yesterday and decided to set myself up on a package tour. Booking was easy and I was able to reach the tour operator, ‘Viator’, who connected me with my tour guide, Mr Ram Timsina. On the day of the tour, he was punctual. Together with his help and that of Mr Biren (driver), I got to see the important cultural and religious places by 2pm. I had a private tour and it was very pleasant as Mr Ram is knowledgeable and conveys the information with much enthusiasm. I learnt a lot from him. Thank you, Ram and Biren for this pleasant tour!

Ray picked us up and was so friendly and informative. He made the tour about us and it was okay if we spent longer in one location. He was very kind and I learnt a lot. Having a car to ourselves was easier as the driver just took us to each place and ray informed us each distance between and how long it would take. Generally took about 20 mins between each site

I did the one day tour alone with Ram Timsina, a very nice person who immediately made me feel at ease. Professional and experienced, he explained everything to me clearly!! Recommended!!

The view of Mt. Everest and of the Himalayas was excellent. I had always wanted to see the mountain and this flight was a perfect way to do that with low hassle. Checkin at the Kathmandu airport was simple and quick. Our flight attendants were so knowledgeable able the mountains and gave us every opportunity for pictures and videos. I really enjoyed this flight. I would recommend it to anyone who has interest in the Himalyas or read the book "Into Thin Air." This trip is only about a 3-hour time commitment of waiting in the airport and the flight itself. If you have worries about trekking to base camp, just skip all that and take the flight. It was worth it. My guide Ram set this flight up for me on short notice. He was incredibly helpful and is also an excellent tour guide!

This was a wonderful full day tour with Ram as our guide. He was so kind and knowledgeable. He fully explained the history of Kathmandu while we visited all the heritage sites. He also helped keep us dry during the rains. Our driver was excellent as well at navigating the tricky and crowded streets of Kathmandu. Would recommend this tour and Ram to anyone!!! Thank you!!!
