About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- faiz2806740 contributionsA must do when in UbudThe 5 star service starts from the point we received the booking order, contacted by ebike team, picked up from hotel, greeted warmly when we arrived, the 3 teammembers who guided and followed us throughout, the photo taking, the friendliness, the information shared on the places visited, the patience, the kindness, the feeling safe, the every little thing, and even post event! World class!! Highly recommended and we will definitely engage the same company again when we come to Bali! The amazing view, goes without saying of course!! Impressive! Thank you!Written January 11, 2025
- creay780 contributionsBest way to travel around Ubud. Guides were fantastic.Best way to travel around the ricefields and taking in all the attractions. Went with teenage kids, bikes were fun had a great time. Few sections were a bit tricky so some basic bike skills is recommended. The Guides were great and had a bunch of interesting information about the area.Written January 8, 2025
- TJB660 contributionsThumbs up for this experience!Big thumbs up for this tour. We did the half day Rice Terrace experience with our teenage sons & it was a terrific way to take in the scenery and to Ubud at a bit of a slower pace. The whole experience was well paced with enough time to take in the stops and we really enjoyed the lunch to conclude the tour. It was very easy to book, great communication through that process, all of the bikes and equipment were really well maintained and our two guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming!Written January 7, 2025

- mwestermann0 contributionsGreat Way to Explore Bali’s Landscape on Two WheelsWe participated in a 3-hour morning tour to the Tegalalang Rice Terraces. It was a great experience, and our guide was both knowledgeable and an excellent storyteller. He had a good sense of the different participants’ skill levels on the bike. We are accustomed to riding eBikes, so it was easy for us, but it was clear that some members of our six-person group, who weren’t used to cycling, found it a bit challenging. This was especially evident on the narrow and occasionally slippery paths through the rice fields, where good bike control was needed to avoid ending up in irrigation channels or water-filled rice paddies. The bikes were well-maintained but quite basic. The gear shifting was imprecise, and the suspension wasn’t the best. This made steering a bit tricky, but once we adjusted to riding more slowly than usual, it wasn’t an issue. The bike tour along small roads with local traffic and the narrow paths through the rice fields is a wonderful way to experience the landscape and everyday life. It comes highly recommended.Written December 18, 2024
- Happiness675941984540 contributionsA must do in UbudVery friendly staff, communication was great on our half day trip, we felt very taken care of. Easy relaxed ride - off the beaten track to some amazing locations, it was the highlight of our trip to see such beauty. Well worth it and hardly broke a sweat due to being ebikes. Go do it, you won't regret it.Written December 16, 2024

- minitrippers0 contributionsAmazing, Beautiful, AdventurousA must do thing when staying in U-bud!! It was so much fun. We don’t ride often but the bikes were super duper easy to ride and it’s great having the ability to switch from electric to manual peddling. You stop at a few amazing points and the views are phenomenal! The tour guides are really supportive and understanding and have so much passion with what they do. The complementary lunch at a near-by restaurant at the end was amazing too. Look, if you feel like you want to get out there in Bali and go out of your comfort zone, this trip will tick all of your boxes. !! 12/10!Written December 15, 2024
- nataliedE6431JP0 contributionsFantastic experienceAmazing views. Guides were exceptional-felt very safe even on busier roads as there was always a guide at the front and behind our group. So great having e-bikes that were easy to use-a must going up the hills. Very informative tour with fantastic scenery!! Our dinner was good too-traditional but very tastyWritten December 14, 2024

- craiglZ1568BU0 contributionsWorthwhile, great guides.Good day out, recommended. Only negative for me was the amount of the tour spend on the road with traffic. About 90%. Thought it may have been more through fields.Written November 25, 2024
- botto7100 contributionsA must do activity in UbudThe bikes are brilliant, no pedalling at all if you don't want to, just press the accelerator and away you go. The guides were attentive and gave great information and also stopped the traffic to keep us on the move and out of harms way. The scenery is exceptional and the whole experience was very professional with a nice lunch afterwards.Written November 21, 2024

Please do not hesitate to book your bike tour here! It was truly AMAZING!!!
I'm a solo traveler travelled from Jakarta to here, and I wanted to say that i was the very first customer to do the tour with them after they've closed since covid-19 lockdown. They are very professional, and followed all the new normal protocol.
They've checked the temperature and all wore masks, alcohol gel, aware of social distancing. (However, in the pictures i took off my mask when riding as it was hot and not easy to breathe, however, there were few people or no one near me along the route, and for taking photos).
All the staff gave me warm welcomed when arrive, and they took care of me for safety along the way with the buggy car following in case of problem with a bike you ride or any accident. I've been in contact with Retta via email, she is very responsive to my messages, and provided all details i wanted to know, she is professional and friendly! And Betul,my great bike guide and also great photographer! He took time to wait for me anywhere i wanted to stop for photos and answered all my questions if i wanted to know anything, he is very patience, friendly and professional. He took care of me very well and made sure safety for me when we were riding all along the way. He was also very pleased to take me so beautiful photos and even advised me for posting and places/spots which are good for photos, so i had many beautiful photos from this trip!
I'm so happy and so impressed about the places we've been and moreover,
the by-heart service that Betul and all his colleagues have given to me.
I will never forget this wonderful biking experience in Ubud,Bali with them!
I strongly recommend to all of you to book the bike trip with eBike, you will never disappointed. This is a MUST thing to when you are Bali if you want to see have some adventurous activity but with great safety and new normal protocol, and also see local life along the villages and wonderful rice field views!
Note: Book with Tirta Empul as your destination and try to do holy water blessing at this temple. It's so magical experience to me to end this wonderful ride trip!
I hope you guys will enjoy Ubud,Bali!
And eBike Team are waiting you to come back!
Thank you very much Betul,Retta, Wayan & all eBike Team!
You've done such a great job! Cheers up!

We signed up for this amazing bicycle tour and boy were we glad we did! It was was a unique experience from meandering through small villages, and past rice paddy fields watching men and women at work harvesting their crops, and watching little ducks let loose into fields to eat up the left over crops. We visited temples and stopped at a beautiful banyan tree. The final stop was at the Holy Spring Temple which is a truly stunning and special temple. We had the opportunity to get into the holy spring and give blessings along with the locals. Which was an utterly amazing experience to be involved in. While you are there, there is a chance to line up and do all Twelve fountains. We’d recommend you take up this opportunity to jump in and try it. Even if you do just one fountain. We only had time to do one and we’re so glad we tried it - as it was such a unique and wonderful experience.
The guides then took us to a lovely lunch overlooking a rice paddy field which was such a beautiful way to end the trip. The meal was choice of Nasi goreng or Migoreng and a mineral water. It was healthy and hearty and we thoroughly enjoyed eating our lunch looking out to the fields.
Our guides were wonderful young men, Harry and Katu who took utmost care of us and guided us safely along the roads with other scooters, trucks and traffic. There are some parts of the tour on busier roads but mostly it is quiet little roads that meander past rice paddy fields and local temples. We felt very safe in their hands and enjoyed their insights including visiting a local Hindu cemetery and learning about Hindu cremation. We also stopped off at a local compound and met a local family and had a look at their house, their business and enjoyed a lovely coconut.
We were so pleased that we had booked electric bicycles as they made the entire trip very enjoyable and made easy work out of some big hills. Once you go electric you can never do back to normal bicycle tours! Your legs will thank you for it! Lol!

This half day e-bike tour was fantastic value for money and included so many highlights, from visiting a local family for a drink/ snack to the delicious lunch on a working paddy farm. Gusti and the team showed amazing attention to detail and we felt the whole trip was v well organised, with one bike ahead taking photos and a support vehicle following the whole time. We got to experience the real Bali countryside with Gusti explaining lots about temple/ local life alongside the bike ride. The e bike was super easy and fun to ride! Highly recommended 10/10 - remember your sunscreen!

I've taken this tour on Jan. 28th, in the morning. I am an experienced bike rider, but this was my first time o electric bike.
I was the only participant in the tour. When you arrive at the starting point, first they get to sign their damage waiver, then you pay, and only then - get to try the bike.
Apparently there were no bike there that suited me, so I finally chose the ones that were the least worse.
You are not really given enough time to get used to the bike, and no one emphasises enough the risk in riding Bali's dodgy roads.
Half an hour into the trip, and I was lying down on the road side with a broken wrist,
and started the nightmare of medical treatment and rescue home.
Had I been warned of great risk involved in this tour, I've never taken it.

This is a wonderful tour that takes you off the beaten track and through local villages and the stunning rice fields around Ubud. My wife and I hadn't been on a bike for years, but we got the hang of it quickly and who doesn't like a little extra help up hills with the additional power the bikes have! Gina, our guide was exceptional and we spent a wonderful morning pedalling through the stunning scenery to Tirta Empul. The temple is well worth a visit and the sight of the spring bubbling up through the sand is amazing and Gina is a wonderful guide and explained everything as we wandered through this temple. The value for money is exceptional with bikes, guide, entry to Tirta Empul and a lunch all included and I hope they go from strength to strength as they really deserve it. Thanks for a wonderful morning!

This is a fantastic way to get a feel for Ubud & the surrounding villages. The E-bikes are fantastic & give you the chance to cover reasonable distances while still having enough energy to enjoy the surroundings.
Our guides, Awan & Melta were superb - with Melta frequently shooting ahead to stop traffic if we were merging back onto a busy road. While our party of 3 have been visiting Bali frequently for more than 30 years, they were still show & discuss new things with us.
Finishing at Tirta Empul, where our 17 year old took the opportunity participate in the purification ceremony, was a perfect place to finish up.
We’ll do it again on our next visit.

Well planned, informative and a great adventure. The bikes are sturdy and powerful and Gusti and the team kept us safe on the roads. Although you get a lot of assistance from the bike motor you still need to be a competent rider to do this trip, especially if it has been wet. We really enjoyed quietly riding through paddy fields and villages and learning a little about traditional Balinese life. The water temple was beautiful and we were grateful to be allowed to share the purification ritual. The ebike tour was a highlight of our Bali holiday and I highly recommend.

Fantastic day the guides were wonderful and we learnt so many things about bali culture.
Visiting a Balinese family home was very special.
Would definitely recommend to anybody visiting bali it’s a great way to experience local way of life travelling through rice fields and local schools and villages.
Don’t have to be fit with the e bike and there is also a support buggy you can ride in if you have had enough.

This tour was one of our favourite moments during our visit to Bali. My husband tells everyone about it. To begin with the staff are extremely professional and very very sweet. Safety briefing was top priority and further safety stops were made during the cycling to check in on us and to let us know what was coming up next.
This really is a wonderful way to see a part of everyday UBUD, through the farmers fields and visiting a family home. we just loved our tour, so thank you so much. We also recommend purchasing their photos as a keep sake then you are focusing on your cycling and not being silly with he camera! The guided tour at the end in Tirta Empul was very interesting and a nice opportunity to ask lots of questions about the culture and religion in Bali. As for water cleanse we opted out, it was very touristy, didn't feel authentic, maybe not the right word to use but lots of queuing. There are other temples out there that you can do a cleanse at I was told by some locals, so ask around if that is something you wish to do. However this bike tour was epic!!

Absolutely loved this trip. Ebikes were fun, our teenage son didn't even have to pedal! Gina was our guide for the day stopping along route to explain about the Balinese culture and what was gong on in the fields. Hari was taking photos and would cycle ahead and stop traffic as and when we had to cross a busy road. We were very impressed with the attention to safety. We were able to go into a Balinese home, see school children playing sport, were cycling through quite roads and tracks, views were stunning. Our last stop was the temple and Gina guided us around and explained traditions etc. We were then taken to lunch in a small open golf style buggy then back to the start for our taxi to the hotel. Really worth doing as you get away from tourist centric areas (other than the temple) and get to see Bali life. Would do this again.
