Trip with no professionnal guide !
I was really looking forward to this excursion. Lets start by the positive points. The driver was amazing, the différents sites we visited were fabulous too. Then the big désappointment came from the guide who did not do his job. He gave us almost no information concerning the sites we visited. We saw other groups with a real professionnal guide who was describing every site visited but not ours. Then the lunch was average. During the trip we had to ask for water otherwise i dont think we would have had any. No fruits either. I do not recommande this tour!

Great staff but the kayaks we were given sank, TWICE! But other than that it was a good day?!
We had two of the kayaks we were on sink. Literally. We had to put our son on a different kayak and a staff member gave us his. That kayak then took on water and sank. It was a really unfortunate experience on an otherwise great day. My wife and son were quite upset by the fact we capsized in the middle of the ocean. The team worked their asses off and everything else was great, but sending out a family on a faulty kayak is pretty unforgivable, and then having the second one sink as well is negligence. Too bad as it was an otherwise amazing experience.

Avoid this company Oh Hoo Travel they are a bad experience
We were told we could be picked up and when I gave our villa address they refused us told us to make our way to the other side of the island for 8 am . This was an hours drive away only to be sat waiting for 2 hours to find out that the boat was traveling from a meeting point just minutes from our villa . We then had to leave our car and be transported an hour back to where we came from to where everyone els was letting at 10 am. When we arrived we were late and the boat was packed like sardines. To say the least it was a terrible experience and when it was all over we had an hours transportation back only to dive back to where the boat dropped us off .

        Quite a tourist trap
This is more a review of the Pig Island itself rather than the tour operator. The tour was organized well, but Pig Island is quite a tourist trap. Pigs are adorable, but you are dropped on that island for a couple of hours and after petting pigs for 15-30 mins there is not much else to do. You can "hike" (15-minute walk) to another side of the island to observe towers of plastic rubbish or chill on the beach, that's it. It takes more time to get to the boat from the hotel and sail to the island than actually the experience itself. So I would not recommend going.

        EXCELLENT cooking class
EXCELLENT cooking class with a very nice host who was attentive and made sure we had what we needed to get an amazing experience. The variety of dishes was excellent and we (family of 4) were able to pick 3 dishes each before the class started. The host reached out to us 2 days prior and sent us a list of 8-9 choices and each of our family members was able to pick 3 custom dishes they wanted to make. Everyone had their own cooking station and the entire class was at the host's home. We routinely take cooking classes everywhere we travel and this was probably our 12th or 13th class. This ranked up in the top 3 for sure and since some of our family members were vegetarian, the host was able to easily accommodate this request. She was also in tune with not using fish sauce for the vegetarians. I hightly recommend this class to anyone visiting Koh Samui and wanting to learn the way locals cook their meals.

        Fantastic tour
I recently embarked on this safari tour that exceeded our expectations, immersing ourselves in the stunning landscapes. This safari tour was a perfect blend of excitement and relaxation, leaving us with unforgettable memories and a strong desire to recommend them.

        Unexpressed potential
We were so excited to join this trip due the unique design and features of the floating bar. We enjoyed the view despite the weather was mostly cloudy during the 2 stops (Koh Tean and Koh Madsum). Fun idea to provide customers with banana boat, jet ski and inflatable mattress options, even tho they are not included in the fare and dont exactly come cheap. The crew was amazing, very helpful, kind and available; if it wasn't for them I would have given a lower score to this review. Among the letdowns, there was no actual DJ (but there was a music playlist), unlike how it was promised in the description and this perhaps contributed to a slightly too mild atmosphere, thus nobody really danced or let it all out. Another possible reason for the lack of sparks was the large number of Korean tourists joining the tour. When we first saw them, we were wondering if they would have had BlackPink-like vibes or BTS-like energy but despite our high expectations we have never seen any single one of them smiling or laughing in 7 hours, all we could see them doing was sleeping. Definitely not the tour-operator's fault, just a party-crushing bad luck of us. The bar accepts only cash and I wish we were informed about this in advance. Luckily we had some cash with us and we managed to make more than one order but we also refrained from spending like we would have liked to, to be sure we didn't ran out of money. The food was ok, not much choice and a bit surprisingly: no seafood. Somehow this tour leaves us with the day-dreaming illusion that such a marvelous ocean sailing vessel was destined to much more than this.

        Please think twice before booking!
We had specifically booked this tour because of the dolphins. After a brief search, the captain of the boat quickly gave up and moved on to the next activity, which was a simple Thai buffet on a coarse pebble beach. After the meal, we went to the snorkeling spot, but there was absolutely nothing to see in the very murky water, and there was mold on the diving mask and snorkel. Finally, at the last stop, Pig Beach, there were 10 pigs roaming around with 40 tourists crowding them, which wasn’t very well-managed in terms of the crowd.

A comfortable way to see Khoa Lak attractions
Great guide and driver. Plenty of time to see the attractions. All admission fees paid as well as some tastings and coffee. An enjoyable way to spend an afternoon and find out a little bit more about the local life.

        Not worth it
Terrible. Was a big storm i asked if its okay to go on a boat with 2 year old in this weather, they said its ok. It was the worst trip that i experienced, the way on the boat in the storm was like from horor movie. My toddler was terrified. Pigs were nice but not worth the money.

Come for the piggies not the snorkelling!
This was a fun tour! Don’t come for the snorkelling as the reef isn’t that great, it’s quite cloudy. However the piggies and dogs on the island were so sweet! Be careful feeding the pigs, but other than that we really enjoyed our trip! The kayaks were nice, but you can’t go very far on them- however after the kayaking the dogs came and swam with us which was very sweet! You don’t do a lot, but it’s a fun affordable trip and worth it!(:

        Very nice daytrip :)
Overall the trip was very nice & I’d recommend it. The only 2 minor cons are 1.) they rushed us in the morning (7:30 pickup) and then let us wait for more than an hour for the boat that leaves at 9:10 (the drive was only 5 mins). 2.) the lunch was chicken with rice, vegetarian option was only rice and veggies, so had to buy more food separatly.

The trip was well organized, we got picked up on time and were driven to the location of the event. The team assisting us during our Zipline adventure was skillful and super fun, they took care of taking photos and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves and were feeling fine. At the end we got a free drink at the Tree Café with an amazing view on "never-ending" forest and beautiful sky. We were absolutely delighted with the whole experience and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

What a great experience, from an easy pickup from our Air BnB we were whisked into the central part of Koh Samui in great time.

The staff are so helpful and very very entertaining through out the entire experience, some of the lines are huge and offer amazing views if you are brave enough to just sit back and chill.

Although there is no safety briefing etc at the start (i found this quite refreshing to be honest) we felt very Safe and in good hands at all times. There is a high level of attention to detail even getting people to wear hairnets and thin rubber gloves under the protective gloves to encourage good hygiene etc, the scenery is breathtaking and the cafe itself is beautiful. We unfortunately did not get a chance to see the waterfall as it was to dry.

The trip is not long, and the only small gripe I would have is that you get very limited time after the wires to relax and enjoy the surrounding area (20 min max), you do get a complimentary drink at the end (I believe the coffee is grown locally!) loads of choice and beers etc are avail at normal Thai prices.

Pro tip..Wear Trainers, there is a little walk up a hill at the last line that is not suitable for flip flops really.

The staff videoed us as we rode and shared the pictures and videos for free afterwards, I cannot stress how funny these guys are, they make the difference.

All in all a truly brilliant trip and one that I would be happy to repeat.

The ziplining was really a special experience:
The organization was great - we were picked up from our accommodation on time and brought back after the tour as announced.

When we arrived, we went straight into the equipment and a little too quickly for our taste. We were basically equipped with everything we needed by several guides at the same time and without any comment. We would have liked a few words of welcome and a small explanation of the process.

There were three of us on our tour as booked and we were accompanied by two guides who were really very friendly and had routine and fun. We also had the impression that we were safe and in good hands at all times.

After the tour, we had a drink “on the house” in the Tree Bridge Café with a wonderful view and had the opportunity to take a few souvenir photos. However, the schedule here is also very tight - we were picked up for the return journey relatively early - we had to take the drinks with us because there was no time to finish them.
We didn't see a waterfall (they probably didn't have any water at the moment, as we were told), but that would have just been an extra, so it wasn't really a drawback for us.

All in all, we can recommend the tour and would have loved to glide through the jungle for longer. :)

The only point of criticism and therefore one point deducted: the announced duration of the tour of 4 hours is not nearly true. We were back at the hotel after 1 1/2 hours and had the feeling that the entire program was rushed through (not at the expense of safety), which was a shame.

This could have been an amazing experience, but it just wasn't. The whole thing felt totally rushed, the staff was not at all welcoming, they did not give us so much as a bottle of water despite stating that soft drinks were included, there was no safety briefing or instructions of any kind despite that also being promised in the description, and there was barely any time to enjoy the tree cafe after ziplining as we were herded back into the trucks within about 15 minutes. We were back inside our hotel room exactly 2 hours after we left it, and at least 25% of that was just driving time.

Additionally, the operator was very difficult to work with. At first I was told that my hotel was outside the pickup area and I would have to pay extra for transportation, then the night before I got an email saying they didn't know where my hotel was at all, then in the morning I got another email saying that the hotel actually is inside the pickup area and therefore I wouldn't have to pay extra after all. It was extremely confusing and the chaos definitely raised some alarm bells.

Lastly, my son unfortunately got sick the morning we were scheduled for this trip so my husband stayed back with him, meaning that we paid for 4 people and only 2 actually went. I informed the operator and asked if even a fraction of the cost might be refunded and was told that all cancellations required 24 hours notice -- like, my son was supposed to plan ahead before puking his guts out? Interesting that when it has to do with providing the promised services (water, introductions, safety briefing, time to relax afterwards) they are under no obligation to actually do those things, but I am required to follow all cancellation policies to the letter despite extenuating circumstances.

The whole thing left a bad impression overall and I wish I had just saved my money in the first place. Unless you REALLY want to do a zipline in Koh Samui, don't bother.

We didn't even get to experience this activity due to poor communication and planning from their side.
We had recieved 2 emails prior to participating in the activity stating/confirming our pickup location and time.
Upon arrival to the pickup location, we received a message 20 minutes late, stating that our meeting point had changed. We then contacted them saying that we were already at the orginal meeting point, they then said that it wasnt possible to pick us up from that stated location.
They then told us we had to walk to a new pickup location, which was a 30 minute walk away from the original pickup point.
They would not arrange any other pickup or means of getting to our activity, therefore we weren't able to attend the ziplining.

After we got back to our Villa, we contacted them for a full refund, as we didn't have time left on our vacation to rebook for another time. We then recieved a very blunt response simply saying "no", with absolutely no justification as of why. When we persisted and asked why we wouldn't be receiving a full refund and asked to speak to someone higher, we were then completely ignored.

If you do decided to book here, be sure to check that the meeting point is actually in a location they are able to get to. And be prepared to do the work, if anything does goes wrong, as they seem to not be bothered.

Dear 660reannew Your hotel is situated atop a towering mountain, inaccessible by car due to safety concerns. This holds true even for vehicles like vans or pickup trucks. This information was conveyed to you, and we established a secure location to transport you. We have continuously communicated with you regarding the challenges associated with picking you up directly from the mountainous hotel, and you had been responsive to all our discussions. Furthermore, you agreed to assemble at the predetermined meeting point. However, on the scheduled day of departure, we dispatched a vehicle to the agreed-upon meeting point, but unfortunately, you were not present. We extend our sincere apologies if our service did not meet your anticipations. Best regards

The trip was well organized. Pickup was exacrly the time the organizer told us. Way up to the Hill was by bus and then changing to pickup, because the second half of road is more adventurous. Tree house cafe is a very nice place. Stunning view and cafe itself is build partly in trees. After ziplining we got a free drink (iced matcha/Green Tea in my case...highly recommend!)

After ziplining you have time for a drink in the trees OR you can Tage the drink to go and Visit one of the two waterfalls (we recommend Number 1 - bring good shoes). For a longer stay there is no time because the transfer Back is coming maybe 30 mins after wnd of ziplining. We would have liked to get more time there since it is a very cool location.

Zipling itswlf is very fun and gives you very beatyfull views. The guides sre very Kind and funny, even if they are very careful and always watching for your safety. Security is always 100%.

Why only 3 of 5 stars: the ziplining itself is max. 15-30 min (Depends on Group size). After 2 hours from pickup we were Back at the hotel. When you compare this Trip (with this price) to a
Other Trips like a full day of speedboat you dont get that much for your money even it is a lot of fun.

The activity itself is superb. The staff, the facilitators and the places are really great!!!! On the other hand, trip advisor sold me an activity that was supposed to last 4 hours, it only lasted 1h30 (taking the travel time). The activity itself lasts 30-40min. I paid 15 euros more than if I had made my reservation directly on the website of the agency that offers this activity (you learn this by talking to other participants). So I loved the experience. She's really great. But my first experience with Trip Advisor will be my last.

I feel totally scammed by this excursion unfortunately :/ Firstly, The experience in total only lasts 1.5 hour including pick up and drop off. You really don't have much time at the zip line at all when it's marked that it's 4 hours. Once the zipline is finished I was hurried back to the car when I wanted to explore the waterfalls and café. There also were NO snacks or water bottles provided like described in the "what's included"(no toast and jam or fruit). They give you one drink and that's it. I will say the tour operators were funny but I really can't stand that they lied in the description about what's included.

We were picked up on time by someone who was busy blabbing on his phone to talk to us. It was raining and windy and we are in a ute with wind and rain coming at us. We managed to get the cover down. The road up was very steep and the vehicle wasn’t in four wheel drive so traction seemed to be an issue as we ascended.

We arrive, the person directing us barely acknowledged us as she was also busy on her phone. We get up to the right place. No safety briefing, twine holding the way too big gloves on and helmet was not secure as I found out once on the line.

The actual zip line was fine but moving through you have to be careful as the steps are not evenly placed and some of the walk way was muddy.

On our first zip line down the young guy shook the line. He didn’t check in or ask. This didn’t make me feel very trusting. The guys on the whole were fine and took videos and photos.

The end of some of the lines had wooden blocks at the end to slow you. It would have been better to have used tyres as it was very jarring.

The cafe was good but only serves drinks and ice cream. The space is great with views etc over the mountains and also some bridges to walk over. There were quite a few people smoking which is fine but better if they were designated areas.

We were supposed to have twenty minutes afterwards at the cafe but it was more like an hour and the same person who didn’t acknowledge us had to be asked more than once where our ride was.

Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced during your visit. It’s clear that we fell short in several areas, from the initial pick-up to the safety measures and overall communication. Your comments regarding the lack of acknowledgment from our staff and the need for better safety briefings are especially concerning, and we will address these with our team immediately. We want every guest to feel welcomed and secure, and your experience does not reflect our standards. We appreciate your observations about the zip line experience and the café, as they help us identify areas for improvement. We will certainly review the feedback regarding the landing systems and smoking policies to enhance our guests’ comfort. Thank you for highlighting the positives, and we’re glad you enjoyed the café and views. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we hope to provide a better experience in the future. Best regards, Oh Hoo Travel

We were picked up at the hotel by a minivan with AC and changed to a jeep halfway there. The transfer can also be done on your own, but it is difficult due to the extreme incline. Once there, we were able to lock away our backpacks and the gear was put on us. The zip line lasted about 45 minutes, although it felt like less. One member of staff was always ahead and waited on the next platform, the other member of staff went last. Cell phones are allowed (own responsibility) and the staff will also take videos on request. Everything felt safe at all times and the staff were incredibly friendly and used jokes to ease any possible tension. After the total of 8 lines, you were allowed to choose a drink in the restaurant and take another look at the jungle from above. After about 30 minutes we went back down and to the hotel. The whole experience is highly recommended.
