Visibility at the scheduled site sucked, so they motored on to one further away. The boat ride was rough, but the dive was great. Visually rich, saw some rays and morays, and the biggest nudibranches I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend Dion, my dive master. Highly!

Our large group of family and friends had a great trip, lots of coral and fish. Guides were great pointing out he different fish. Few other people as also a dive site. Excellent day.

This was my third diving experience and I had a wonderful time. The staff were all friendly. I was lucky to have Mann as my instructor who looked after me and two less experienced divers. I wish that I had been told about the option to hire a water proof camera though and then I would have some photos to add!!

We had a really great experience with the Discovery Dive Centre. My husband and I are certified but hadn't dived for 4 years so we booked a refresher, which involved some basic skills as part of the first dive (easy to book online). Our instructor Dion was so great and made me feel really confident and capable. Sail rock had an amazing coral reef and lots of fish. The day we went had a strong current and was pretty wavey on the boat, so be sure to take sea sickness meds if you need them! I would 100% recommend!

We had a great time and saw a lot of amazing corals. Ben our instructor was great he showed as a lot of marine life and was super helpful.

Took a 4-day/8-dive package and visited different sites around Koh Tao. Excellent service provided by this dive centre from pick-up at hotel through transfer to the dive sites and actual diving all the way to back to base and hotel. Super guys; fun to dive with but ensuring safety at all times. They even managed to ensure that whale sharks made an appearance!!! Would recommend.

Me and my wife absolutely loved the dive trip with Discovery team. Phillip made the whole experience absolutely seamless for the both of us. Highly recommend Discovery divers! I'm a new / nervous diver and took a refresher / Koh Tao trip on day 1 followed by Chumphon Pinnacle on Day 2. The instructors were extremely patient in teaching me the ropes again and were fantastic in their approach. Facilities / boat are nice, food is good and the diving, out of the world. Had the loveliest time and will return for more.

I recently completed my PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course with Cyril at Discovery Dive Center in Koh Samui. It was an amazing experience! Cyril is a fantastic instructor, patient, knowledgeable, and always focused on safety. The entire team was professional and welcoming. I felt well-supported throughout the course and left feeling more confident in my diving skills. Armand B.

This dive trip was super well organised and the crew and guides were great. I signed up online for the dive the night before the trip and the team emailed me to arrange pick-up. The driver showed up at the precise time indicated and the ride to the jetty was smooth despite the dreary weather. The ride to the site was rough but the dives were amazing - huge schools of fish, great guides, totally worth it.

Our diving experience in Koh Samui unfortunately left a lot to be desired. The whole trip felt rushed, and there was a noticeable tension between the dive masters, which translated into a lack of clear communication. It was uncomfortable to see that the dive team didn’t seem to be on the same page, and as a result, we didn’t feel like we were given proper safety instructions or guidance. This lack of coordination left us uncertain at times, and certainly didn’t inspire confidence, especially when it came to safety protocols. On top of that, the equipment was in poor condition. The masks were moldy, and one of the tanks wasn’t properly secured, which made us feel uneasy while diving. We also had to hold onto a rope during the dive, which resulted in painful rashes on our hands that lasted for a week. While we understand the weather conditions were beyond anyone’s control, it seemed like the dive masters weren’t particularly mindful of the discomfort some guests were feeling. There was little consideration given to the fact that some of us might have been nervous or uneasy due to the weather, and that lack of empathy didn’t help ease our anxiety. To top it off, the refreshments were sparse—just coke on board—and there wasn’t enough food for everyone, which further added to the sense that the trip was poorly organized. It’s disappointing, as we were really looking forward to the experience, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet our expectations. The highlight of the trip, however, was spotting a green turtle despite the poor visibility underwater. It was a special moment, but it wasn’t enough to make up for the overall lack of organization.

I had two amazing dives at Sail Rock, much better than I expected since we had cloudy skies and there was heavy rain the previous day. Multiple very large schools of fish everywhere I looked for both dives. Our dive guide Otillio was great. Very enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. A very good boat with a sun shade covering the whole boat. There were three other groups in the boat but it never felt crowded. And the crew were great helping us get in and out of the water. Definitely recommend Discovery Divers!!

My two daughters and I just completed the PADI open water course in Koh Samui. We booked with discovery divers via email while still in Australia. We then were emailed the link to do the theory component of the course while still at home so we didn’t waste any holiday time. On day 1 we had Zoe lead us in the pool skills. She was patient but also kept us moving at a good pace. On days 2 and 3 we were led by Filip. He was excellent, and filled us with confidence but also made sure we were across all of the safety processes. We were very grateful for his calm manner. Day 2 we visited Koh Tao and day 3 we visited Sail Rock which was stunning. I would highly recommend discovery divers, and particularly Filip and Zoe, especially if you are a beginner.

We are beginner divers who were well taken care of by discovery team. We were given clear instructions. I told them about my claustrophobia and anxiety disorder ahead of the dive and the team took utmost care of me and my partner. I was given constant support and motivational talk whenever the anxiety kicked in. My partner was given extra attention on breathing technique until he got it right. We chose to photographed and they did a pretty good job. We were provided with a beautiful video that we would cherish forever. Thank you Discovery team!
