Had a great trip. Our guide Raquel was fun and helpful. I would recommend to anyone. Can be a bit of a work out on the way back.

We did this as a family of 5 - ourselves and our three kids aged 18, 16 and 13. We were a few mins late but that wasn't a problem and we met Joao and a young lady (sorry I didn't properly hear her name) and they were both super helpful and very friendly. We went out in three kayaks and paddled out of the bay into the Tagus and then back out to the Atlantic. Joao gave us the tour highlights as we paddled which was interesting. The tour lasted for 2 hours and we absolutely loved it. You dont need to be super fit to enjoy it. Would thoroughly recommend this for families with teenage kids.

Very kind, good and relaxed people. We had a lot of fun and the cliff, beach and sea are gorgeous! They picked us up near the hotel and dropped us off. Very good service

I went on two surfski trips with two different guides. Expectations had been settled in advance: I wanted waves and padling. No sightseeing. The two different guides on each session were clearly knowledgeable guides that could talk about the local sights. But they could also act as instructors and teach surfski technique. Hands down the highlight of my trip to Portugal. But do settle expectations first so you know what you are getting yourself into

I have been on 2 ten day trips guided by Annabelle with BORK. The first was a hiking trip on the Portugal coastal path. This 2nd one was a hiking and kayaking trip in the Duoro Valley. I went on the second trip just to have Annabelle again as a guide. Annabelle is, hands-down, one of the very best guides I have ever had on trips. She is kind, smart, funny, well prepared, safety first, and super knowledgeable and informative about Portugal, hiking and kayaking. Annabelle adapted the trips as we went along to the participants’ requests, needs and to changing weather conditions. The BORK kayaking equipment was in excellent condition. Her employees, the assistant guides, are also outstanding. I would go on any trip offered by her and her company.

Great experience and tour by Raquel. We were fortunate to have the tour just the two of us. Great sites, great equipment and interesting notes about local history. Would recommend to anyone coming to Lisbon.

I booked 5 surfski training sessions. I was short in time so they let me do two in a day (if you’re not fit, this might be a bit too much). Great boats, really great instructors and an absolutely incredible location. I’ll come back to them again!

We discussed why this excellent experience did not deserve a 5-star review, as we had a really good time. After thorough instructions by our two guides (we were four in the family), we set out in the impeccable equipment along the coast towards Lisbon. Even if it was fairly windy, we all felt safe and in capable hands and our guides - Raquel and Duarte - told knowledgeably about the sights and scenery along the way. They even took pictures, which were shared with us over mail afterwards. Everything on the sea and in relation to the actual event was up to the nines!! Room for improvement can be found in communication around how to prepare (e.g. we should have brought own towels) and the facilities for changing were rough around the edges… If you have tried kayaking before, which we hadn’t, you will have a great time with Bork!!

Four of us had a kayak tour with Lucas. We all had a fantastic time! The kayaking (in two 2-person boats) was a lot of fun and was pretty straightforward given that none of us had very much experience. Lucas is a top guy! Made us all feel really safe in the boats at the beginning but after that he was just a lot of fun, and all five of us were chatting and laughing constantly throughout the afternoon! I haven't done a lot of these watersport / activity sessions on holidays before (always think they look a bit expensive for what they are) but this was 100% worth it - one of the best afternoons of our week in portugal! If I come back I'd love to do a SCUBA course, sounds incredible!

Worst company ever. Horrible management, bad atmosphere between guides, please look for other options.

Booked for the morning, got an email that morning telling us to meet at 1pm. We'd pre-booked for 10am. We couldn't go as we had another tour pm. I've always used Trip adviser but very disappointed as my sons were really looking forward to this. I request a refund.

Had a great trip with Bork! Beautiful location and a great time out on the water. We also had some transport issues that Anabelle was really helpful in sorting out, as well as arranging a lunch for us! She went above and beyond to keep the day on track after some problems that were no fault of her own. We're really grateful for that. Great people involved in Bork, really helpful and friendly. I'd fully recommend them!

We hired 2 kayaks for a self-guided tour around the coast. We had a great time and it all worked smoothly. The only downside was that four of our party decided they didn’t want to come after we had paid, as it was very foggy. Many thanks to Raquel for arranging a refund for the 2 kayaks we didn’t use! Highly recommend if you are experienced kayakers - much cheaper than the guided tours.
