My guide was so friendly and knowledgeable! He took me to all the best sights and I got some amazing photos for family, friends and socials. I left the tour feeling I had a very good knowledge of Lisbon and its history.

Pedro. Our driver picked us up promptly and gave us a wonderful tour of places he thought would be of interest to us. He was very helpful with handling my husband who has site issues and made sure we were seated in our restaurant for the best view of the evenings entertainment. The meal was OK, but the entertainment was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed listening to the singing. After finishing our meal, we contacted Pedro, who picked us up promptly and returned us to our hotel, after having a delightful evening of conversation with him and his insight into Lisbon. We hope his thesis paper goes well.

The castles were beautiful, and Carlos was very knowledgeable of the history. We really enjoyed seeing the beaches and coastline of Cascais. The town was very cute too!

Excellent half day tour of Sintra and Cascade. Luis our guide and driver was very knowledgeable and accommodating of us with a 2 year old in tow. Sintra and the surrounding area are worthy of some more time, but we were short on it and this provided us a great overview. I would highly recommend this tour company and Luis.

Boris, of Seconds and Minutes was waiting for us at the Lisbon airport and waited and waited until we finally exited the plane, about 45-50 minutes after landing. International flights deboard on the tarmac using a stairway. A person in a wheelchair must wait until the ground crew provides a scissor-lift truck to offload handicapped passengers. Our travel companions met-up with Boris and the three patiently waited for us to clear customs and finally arrive at the Seconds and Minutes van. Boris delivered us directly to the H10 Duque de Louie Boutique Hotel. Minutes and Seconds also provided us transport to the Cruise Dock to meet the Celebrity Infinity. Our driver, Fabiola was charming and explained much of the city we were traveling through to the port. Seconds and Minutes provided a large van capable of managing six suitcases, a couple of backpacks and our collapsed wheelchair. The ride was comfortable and roomy.

Traveling through the country to Sintra and Cascais was filled with spring color and bright skies. Carlos was our driver/tour director who had an impressive command of the sites we visited. Our first stop was to visit the National Palace of Queluz. The opulence and excess were demonstrated in lavish gardens, an extensive array of rooms for every imaginable activity. The Park and Palace of Pena was seen from a distance along with other castles and villas. We enjoyed views of the Atlantic Ocean as we made our way to Cascais from the north. What we discovered was a picturesque seaside village, perfect for vacationing. Carlos provided us time to lunch and relax. The day was a wonderful day of discovery.

Luis was a great travel guide. He is very knowledgeable about the city he loves. He told us a great deal about Lisbon and its rich history, much of which we were not aware of. It was obvious that he had done his homework. His attention to detail was superb. I would highly recommend Louis and Seconds and Minutes LDA.

The main attraction was well worth it. Ricky was extremely knowledgeable. He knows all the particular details. We were able to get to the understanding of what we wanted to to and Ricky understood. He got us a good place to eat for lunch

So happy I got to see an enjoyable fado show and see Lisbon at night. My tour started with a drive through Lisbon hills and neiborhoods with tiny streets. My driver had interesting stories about the area and local celebrations. We went to the top of a hill enjoyed as a meeting, conversation place of locals to have a great night view of the city. I really loved the restaurant tucked in a alley and the Fado show. The food was good and the music beautiful and fun. I was lucky to have an audience that enjoyed singing along. It was a fun experience I would highly recommend.

Our day with Carlos was fantastic! I would highly recommend this full day trip to see three very different and amazing sites. Carlos thought of everything like having waters and umbrellas available for us on this warm summer day. He was informative, kind, helpful and courteous.

Our group of six friends are traveling on a tour. We realized, too late, that we hadn’t signed up for the optional excursion to Sinatra and Cascáis. So, we sought an alternative. Wow, was that a fortuitous turn of events! Luis picked us up at our hotel and provided a fun and informative afternoon tour. He is a great driver as well as knowledgeable about the area and gave us local insights into the “Portuguese Rivera.” Our hours with him flew by and we were so grateful to have found this gem of a local guide! We have agreed, from now on, when offered optional excursions, we’ll look at Trip Advisor first. Hopefully, we’ll meet more guides like Luis, he was awesome!
