- 811martenp0 contributionsMasada Dead sea relaxI really enjoyed the trip! The guide Eyal was very provident and professional! I Learned a lot about the places we passed by. We went through the sites without any hurry. The things were explained in an very eupeptic manner. Although we passed through the Westbank in summer 2024, there was no impression of any danger on the way. Local people we found where very kind at all places. The stay at the beach was about 1.5h, enough to enjoy this extraordinary place. Thanks for a very nice trip!Written June 26, 2024
- 811martenp0 contributionsJerusalem in a rushIt was a really nice trip! The guide Abu Shai was very professional, a history professor giving courses in US universities, as he stated. And indeed a lot of historical background was given beyond the facts about the sites we visited. Furthermore information was always intended to be in a consistent (not always religious) context. I really enjoyed the discussions. Unfortunately, we went through Jerusalem with a great portion of hurry, not really giving us time to rest and contemplate as I would have preferred for such a magic place on earth. People were also told to don't stop at any stall or photographic site except the ones we were told by the guide. The excuse was that we had to pass by so many places in the given time frame. Finally we finished the tour in around 6 hours. Anyway I learned a lot and enjoyed what I found. ThanksWritten June 26, 2024
- esimisrael0 contributionsUnforgettable Masada and Dead Sea Adventure! This "Masada and the Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv" was incredible! The convenience of hotel pickup and drop-off, combined with comfortable air-conditioned travel, made the journey stress-free. Our guide's detailed explanations at Masada were enlightening, enhancing our appreciation of this historic site. Floating in the Dead Sea was a surreal experience, with optional therapeutic treatments available. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Israel!Written June 26, 2024
- K3739KIangelar0 contributionsExcellentSimply the best! The guide was very knowledgeable and informative about all the historical details. Transitions from each site were spot on!Written June 22, 2024
- francotheexplorer0 contributionsJerusalem &Betlehem TourGreat experience. Our tour guide is Itamar, and he is so knowledgeable about the whole place and adding some trivias. He is a great tour guide he truly connects with people and can communicate with different languages like english and spanish.Written June 18, 2024
- U5755YDadrianam0 contributionsAmazingThe help they gave us for the process at the border is very supportive, they make it easier in Procedure and all the travel was amazing, or course we’ll return 😊Written June 4, 2024
- F6783QFjimt0 contributionsTrip of a lifetime!Avi was our driver and tour guide. Easy efficient pick up and drop off. This was a 'return' trip for me after 53 years. Avi made the trip live up to all my expectations and more. We covered the Sea Level pit stop on the way down to the rift valley from Jerusalem. The cable car ascent of Masada and Avi gave us just the right depth of insight without any stress or rush. Then our time at Kalil Beach for our float in the Dead Sea and our self-pasting with Dead Sea mud was the best! A once in a lifetime experience not to be missed. It was a humbling honour to be blazing the trail for the return of tourism to Israel after the devastation wrought on 7 October 2023.Written May 31, 2024
- RLFCYCLE0 contributionsUnreliableThe operator cancelled the tour 12 hours beforehand and all the others were booked. Unacceptable and unprofessional. The guide then did not return text messages. Stay away from this.Written May 26, 2024
- katlinw20240 contributionsGreat tour and amazing tour guideThis trip was the highlight of my time in Israel. Itamer was an amazing tour guide- his knowledge of history, Israel, and the Bible all fused to make this trip really memorable. All the sites we visited were amazing, there was ample time at each one but it didn’t feel like we were there for too long, and Itamer did a great job conducting the tour in multiple languages for different people. He truly cared about each person having a great experience. Visiting Jesus place where he grew up and did most of his ministry was truly incredible and the price for the tour was great. If you go, download what’s app because they will communicate with you that way for the pick up and drop off.Written May 21, 2024
- shacharg20240 contributionsI'm an Israeli, love to travel different places in our beautiful little country. Masada is important from me historicallAmazing place! I will visit again for sure! - blancahavila0 contributionsHorrible experience with ViatorHorrible tour to Valle de Guadalupe We bought a tour to Valle de Guadalupe, from a supposed “Tour company.” They sent us 4 people plus the driver in a 4 persons sedan car, my daughter had to go in the middle for 6 hours. The driver was talking on the phone back and forth, when I told him that I thought it was dangerous for us to do it, he said that he had a lot of experience driving 8 wheelers, so he didn't stop. I don't think it's allowed to take tourists this way. So unprofessional, didn't know anything about the area, he just transported us to the destination in the most uncomfortable and dangerous way. At the last point, the vineyard where they gave us a cheese board, he sat at our table and loudly talked on her cell phone, taking away the only pleasant experience of the entire day. What he did share with us, was all the dangerous places in the area. Although the driver tried, this company is not a professional tour company. We brought a bigger and safer truck, if we had known how bad it would be, we would have left on our own.Written January 1, 2024
- _saroshv0 contributionsBad experience! This tour was badly organized .First we waited outside the hotel for an hour before we were picked up .No one knew where to go .We thought we were finally starting the trip .But we were taken to this hilly top where we waited another hour in a dingy cafe . The tour was rushed as it was getting late .For lunch everyone is taken to this awful resturant with chaos ,substandard food and fighting crowds . Before going into the resturant you have to go thru a shop and they push coupons to you to buy super expensive products . Guide did not have much knowledge or rather one sided knowledge .We were rushed thru Masada which was the main attraction .I asked him a couple of questions breaking his monologue. He did not like it and was very rude . Do not take this tour .If you do bring your own food . It was a waste of money .Written December 23, 2023

Jerusalem and Dead Sea is a lot of ground to cover from Ashdod. But we only had 2 days in Ashdod and wanted to cover Jerusalem and Dead Sea day 1, Tel Aviv day 2. So this worked out well.
Our driver / guide picked us up at the dock in front of our ship. Meeting up was very convenient. Yael was a great guide. Very friendly and attentive.
Old City Jerusalem is a lot of walking up and down hills, stairs, and narrow streets. In the heat, this was quite tiring. We ran into a major Jewish holiday, which made it super crowded. We covered the Jewish and Arab quarters. Walked the trail for Jesus' crucifixion.
Dead Sea is a 45 min drive from Jerusalem through the Jordanian desert. It's fun to float around for 30 min. A surreal experience. But the super saline water stung my eyes and hurt my skin a bit. I left the water after about 30 min.
We asked to be dropped off in Jerusalem around 6:30. We walked around the city for an hour. Then the tour company arranged for a taxi to take us back to Ashdod.
It ended up being about an 11-12 hour day, but very memorable and worth it!
