We had an amazing day with Diana from Ride for You Portugal! She was fantastic with our kids and made the entire experience unforgettable. We started our day at 8:30 AM and visited incredible spots like Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Cabo da Roca, Cascais, and Sintra. Diana even took us to one of the oldest bakeries in Sintra to try their famous pastries, which was a delightful treat. Throughout the trip, she shared fascinating stories about the history of Lisbon, Sintra, the Moorish Castle, and the Portuguese kings.Cabo da Roca was stunning. Diana was very easy to work with and reasonably priced. She asked all the right questions about our itinerary during the planning stage to make sure everything was perfect. She also provided car seats for both of our kids, which was really helpful. My son had plenty of questions, and she patiently answered every single one. Her driving skills were impressive, especially on the narrow roads of Sintra, which isn’t an easy task. We loved our day trip with her and would highly recommend her to anyone visiting Portugal!

Had two amazing days touring around with Diana Dias as our guide. We covered a lot of ground in Lisbon and the second day in Sintra ending in Caiscais. Diana has tons of knowledge and was very organized with her itinerary of events. A ver comfortable ride in her van set up so those in the far back could also hear her clearly. We could have never figured all this out on our own! Reasonably priced and she is delightful. Fit right in with our group of 6. We really missed her the next day when on our own.

What a wonderful full day we spent with Diana! She picked us up directly from our accommodation around 8:30 in her very comfortable minivan and showed us around Sintra, Quinta de Regaleiro, Peña Palace and Cascais. We also sampled some of the local delicacies. Thanks to her vast knowledge, we learned lots of interesting and historical facts as we visited. We could never have had the same experience without her. Our teenagers, aged 13 and 16, really enjoyed it too. I was afraid that spending a whole day with a guide would be too long, but on the contrary, the day went by very quickly. Having a private guide to yourself is truly incomparable. Her patience and good humor made the day an unforgettable experience. I recommend her without any hesitation.

I was in Lisbon for work and had limited time for sightseeing. Diana crafted tours around my schedule so I could show my family so much of Portugal in the available time. We used her for a total of four days. On the day we visited Sintra Diana covered so much information while deftly navigating the narrow streets of Sintra. She also took us to Cascais and also we visited other amazing places such as the westernmost point in Continental Europe. Don't limit yourself to just the named tours. Contact Diana and she will do a custom tour for you. When I arrived in Lisbon we asked Diana to change the plans for our final day of touring to a completely different city (Evora). I was originally concerned that maybe Diana would not be as knowledgable about something which she didn't advertise. I was completely wrong. Her depth of knowledge was impressive, and with just a couple of days notice she convinced the owner of a cork factory to open up on a Sunday and explain to us the entire process from harvesting cork from trees to all of the amazing products you can produce. We felt very special for this personal treatment. It illustrates the attention to detail and flexibility of Diana.

Diana was fantastic. We used her for a total of four days. She was so knowledgeable about Portugal. For this tour of Fatima, the Batalha monastery, Nazare and Obidos Diana was able to balance the important to us of spending time at the religious sites with the other activities such as seeing the big waves at Obidos. We never felt rushed. In fact, there were times when Diana would have liked to add more to the day but we couldn't keep up! She was full of energy and and my daughters 16 and 14 absorbed so much on this tour.

Diana was fantastic. We were very impressed with her deep knowledge of Portuguese history. The car was clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend Diana and plan on returning to Portugal and taking other tours with her.

We did several tours while we were in Portugal with Diana (and her husband, Ricardo), and all were fantastic. The first was an all-day Sintra tour, including the Pena Palace and the town of Sintra. It was a bit rainy, so we did not spend as much time around Sintra after the Palace tour, but instead went to Cabo da Roca and the Estoril Coast, stopping for lunch at a great restaurant that Diana picked out for us. Our last stop was in Cascais where we had some time to wander around the town before heading back to Lisbon. There were 3 couples, and we rode in an 8-seater van which was comfortable and spacious. In addition to the tour of Sintra which we did with Diana, we also hired them for transfers from Lisbon to Porto, Lisbon to Lagos, and back to Lisbon, all with stops along the way. Ricardo drove us for these transfers and was extremely personable and helpful. I can't say enough about Diana and Ricardo! They were pleasant, professional, courteous, and excellent drivers, and we enjoyed many conversations with both of them about their family, Portuguese traditions and history, the passing scenery, and current events. If we get back to Portugal again, we will definitely ask them to drive us as they are conscientious and very dependable.

My husband, 25 year old daughter and I had a fabulous day with Diana. She is knowledgeable, personable, knows all the back roads to avoid traffic and a lot of fun. Communication was easy and Diana was on time for pickup at our Airbnb. If you are considering a day in Sintra/Cascais chose Diana Dias and you won’t be sorry! Abrigada!
