          Delightful private tour of Kagoshima
This was one of the best guided tours we have ever taken. Shinju did an excellent job preparing a perfect day in Kagoshima. He emailed questions to us weeks before our arrival, so he could craft the perfect day of sightseeing for our family. We were picked up at the port right next to our cruise ship. He had a sin with our name to make it easy to find him. We had a very clean van and a professional driver plus Shinju our guide. We visited the local Aquarium which features many local varieties of sea life. Highlights include the whale shark, dolphins and seals. We also visited Sengan-En garden and residence. This is a beautiful garden and historical residence originally built in the 17th century. This area has beautiful views of volcano SakuraJima across the bay. We also got an opportunity to dress in traditional Samurai armor and have our portraits taken by a professional photographer. We then enjoyed a wonderful Shabu-Shabu lunch prepared at the garden restaurant while enjoying views of the volcano. This day was only possible because of the preparation of our guide Shinju Ishii. He was very friendly, spoke excellent English and taught us many details about the local history and culture. Highly recommend this private guided tour if your are visiting Kagoshima.

          Our driver Higashi was fabulous
We only really wanted to visit Nagaro the Scarecrow village & we're worried we'd miss the bus. But this whole trip was amazing & well worth the cost. Our driver Higashi was absolutely wonderful. He took us to lots of different places, didn't rush us or hurry us along and made sure we were happy & comfortable the whole time. A lot of the roads are extremely narrow & you really have to know where you're going so driving ourselves would have been nearly impossible. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy the Iya Valley.

          Fantastic experience in Nikko
We had the absolute pleasure of having Mrs. Yoko Nakata as our guide for a six-hour tour in Nikko, Japan, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, she was knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly attentive to our group’s interests and needs. Mrs. Yoko’s deep understanding of Nikko’s history, culture, and landmarks truly brought every site to life. She guided us through the stunning UNESCO World Heritage sites with fascinating stories and insights, making sure we fully appreciated the significance of each place. Her recommendations were spot-on, ensuring we saw the highlights while also experiencing some hidden gems away from the crowds. Beyond her expertise, Mrs. Yoko’s warmth and kindness made our tour even more enjoyable. She was patient, accommodating, and always made sure we were comfortable, making the experience feel like we were exploring with a friend rather than just a guide. Her passion for Nikko was evident, and it made us appreciate the beauty of the region even more. If you’re looking for an exceptional guide in Nikko, Mrs. Yoko Nakata is the one to ask for! We highly recommend her and are truly grateful for the unforgettable memories she helped create. Thank you, Mrs. Yoko!

We got to see, Tsukiji Fish Market , Asakusa, Senso-ji Temple and view Tokyo Skytree, Meiji Jingu Shrine, Harajuku Takeshita Street, Shibuya Scramble Crossing. Worst Tour Ever
Our tour guide had terrible time management skills, no apparent plan and insufficient knowledge of the transportation within the park. The initial cost of the tour( for two people) was $539.88 just for the “tour”. Our transportation round trip from Tokyo as well as the many cab rides within the park were an additional fee. Most of the day was “ hurry up and wait”. Lunch was at an “authentic” Japanese restaurant he found on his phone when we were in a cab looking for something to do. We only visited one lake in the “Five Lakes Tour” and it was disappointing. The water down and we walked around the lake for only a brief time as our guide was anxious to take us to a touristy coffee shop where we spent the last 90 minutes of the tour listening to his history of the Samurai. The highlight of the day was a clear, beautiful view of Mt. Fugi- for which we were most grateful.

Perfect beginning to a great holiday. Best guide ever
This was the best 4 hr experience. Nobby-San, our guide was fantastic and very flexible and attentive to our needs. We took the tour on day 1 in Tokyo. We wanted to see some major sights as well as get oriented to the train system and identify “go back” spots. This turned out to be perfect for what we wanted as our forward itinerary wasn’t planned (on purpose). Highly recommend this and highly recommend Nobuo, our guide.

          Kanazawa City Tour
Yoshi was an utter delight : ) Shared interesting history and context to these key important sites of Kanazawa and how they shaped Kanazawa. It was a super interesting introduction to the city. We had quite a cold rainy day but he taught us how to use/hop on the buses (very easy) to get around. Loved our well balanced choice of garden, Geisha Teahouse district, Castle... then a sublime ending in Kenroku-en Inner Garden Teahouse. He was adorable fella - we didn't want our day with him to end!!

Kenzo-san was an awesome tour guide and was able to show us great highlights of Tokyo. We already expected Tokyo to have amazing urban areas, but he brought us to beautiful pockets of nature we never would've found on our own.

We loved this tour so much! Yoshi was so thoughtful and shared with us the history of Kanazawa. He is an expert and we enjoyed him sharing his expertise on the city, the castle and the Kenrokuen Garden. We had a wonderful time! If you are coming to Kanazawa, this is a great tour to do on the first day you are here to have a better understanding how the city was created, the architecture and places to visit.

Sato was an absolutely wonderful guide to help us make the most of our short time on Naoshima. She was so knowledgeable about the history of the island, the museums, and the art work, and was absolutely delightful to spend time with as well! She was so sweet to document our visit and send us photos, and even helped us take advantage of a very special day when Tadao Ando was visiting the island personally and made sure we had the chance to hear him speak and bought us small cards to have him autograph. I cannot recommend Sato enough if you are visiting Naoshima and would like to have a little extra insight into the place and the artwork. She truly went above and beyond for us!

Thank you so much for your kind review! It is really encouraging me. I am very happy to know you enjoyed the tour. To tell the truth, that was a little special occasion for me too. We happened to meet that busy world-class architectural designer and attend his informal meeting. I was able to do this because of your flexibility in accommodating our schedule change. That was a fun for me as well, thanks to you two lucky girls. I am sure that you bring back many happy memories of Japan, and hope that one of them is the memory of the island. Sato

Our guide Reiko "Ray" was an excellent guide on Naoshima Art Island for our group of 8. Ray met us at Uno station and arranged all of our tickets for the ferry, admission to the many art projects and electric bikes. Ray was very knowledgeable about every aspect at each of the house projects and the museum. She even put up with our sense of Aussie humour and was great company for the whole day taking pictures and finding us a traditional lunch place for Udon noodles. Our group highly recommends Ray and this tour.

We met Ray (Reiko) from JP-A at UNO port for an amazing day on the Naoshima art island. Her expertise allowed seamless movement across the island, with a special focus on the artist that interested us. The art both challenged and delighted us.Ray was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. We booked a USD200+ per person day tour in advance all the way from Mexico only to have been left waiting in our hotel. Nobody answered our messages to the tour operator from the app and Viator couldn’t contact them either. We were eventually refunded but left without a guided tour of Naoshima as all tours were booked.

The full refund is not enough! Horrible experience
