We only stayed one night but everything was great. The room was clean and with everything we needed. The area is quiet and perfect to relax. The host family is soooo friendly, they want to make sure you have the best stay possible. In the end they offered us water, mangos and coconuts. Thank you so much for you kindness!!! I would recommend La safari inn 100%.

We stayed at La Safari Inn for one day and our room was very clean and comfortable. The accommodation was located in a quiet environment. We went to Kirinda and Kataragama in our car and these places are only half an hour away. We did a morning safari with them and their jeep was comfortable and the driver was very efficient and showed us all the animals. It is very nice safari. The staff treated us very well and kindly. A very good place. We hope to return.

We highly highly (!) recommend this place - as a hotel & safari tour. It’s a family owned hotel from the boss (the lady), her husband and son - they are always around and super supportive. I had regular contact with them before through WhatsApp. They organized for us the private whole day Yala safari tour (5am-6pm) for a great price (a MUST do which was fantastic with the Jeep driver Prisana - only do the tour with them see also below), and also taxi drivers for a great price). We had the big double room with A/C and warm water. It can be easily 4stars from a SouthEast-Asia standpoint. Rooms are a great size, bed is very comfy, bathroom is also great size. It’s very clean. The overall hotel looks really nice, in the middle of the jungle, with lots of birds etc around, nice veranda on the ground & second floor. Restaurant is also running by the family. Awesome food (best Kottu in Sri Lanka) and it was also cheap. You can spend there easily 2-3 days when you do 1-2 safari tours down there. Payment only in cash. I wouldn’t look for another hotel & safari tour! :) La Safari Inn Hotel organized for us the whole day safari tour with the Jeep driver Prisala (hope I write the name correct :)) which was fantastic. We had really the feeling that he tried to provide us the best experience we can get. We saw many many elephants incl groups of elephants, 2 leopards, many crocodiles, birds etc.) price was also good. Food was fantastic which was prepared by the hotel La Safari Inn. I would only book the tour with La Safari Inn if you are down there. You can also do half day tours. But we had the feeling that after lunch (there is a break from 12-2pm and nobody can drive through the park in that time) that you see many more animals incl elephants in the afternoon.

We slept here 2 nights and we really loved this place. It is a nice atmosphere, the staff is really friendly and helpful and the rooms are perfect. Also the breakfast and dinner was really nice (the curry was delicious) We can really recommend it.

Very clean and quite accommodation . Located in a quite and beautiful environment . A very hospitable staff. Kataragama, Kirinda and Yala national park are a short drive away. They had a generator when the electricity went out. It was a great relief for us . It is the great place in Tissamaharama . Highly recommended ..

Very good place. but safari was disappointing our driver menaka. he always had the phone to his ear and he stayed for a long time in some places we visited more traffice areas. we are disappointed because of that

The hosts were very lovely, and made the visit so easy. I had several safari's set up at good prices to both Yala and nearby Bundala National Parks. I had been provided quotes from other sources as well, so am glad to report they were fairly priced here. The food was fantastic as well - loved the Sri Lankan breakfast! My room was super large and comfortable - one of the best deals I had on my trip.

The owners are really nice and helpful, they arranged everything for Yala safari, even though we arrived late at night. They arranged us with a very beautiful Safari tour, with a great guide, in a reasonable price. They were caring and helped us with every question and need, The food was very tasty and the garden is beautiful, there is a nice big balcony to hangout. Highly recommend ❤️

It was amazing. The people from the hotel are really friendly and helped us out figuring everything needed for a safari. They even helped me out to get a king coconut tree that I wanted to take back to my home country.

Best place in Tissamaharama. A very quiet environment and beautiful garden. Great hospitality . Staff was very kind . They provided everything we needed. It is very close to Tissamaharama town. Kataragama and kirinda beach can be reached in just 25 Minutes . The rooms were very clean and comfortable . They have big restaurant. The food was delicious and refreshing . Nice place. Highly recommended ..

One of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka. Not only is the room very comfortable but the family who run the guesthouse are so nice, going above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing stay. We only stayed 1 night and they did so much for us. Arranged for us to get to and from the bus station, provided us with juice on arrival and departure, cooked us a delicious dinner and a packed breakfast for our safari. We booked our Yala safari with them and it was amazing, our guide was excellent at spotting animals and we were extremely satisfied, plus at a very good price. 100% recommend!

Great place for safari. Because the hotel staff organized it well. We saw lot of animals. Our jeep driver was very good and well experienced driver. He explain everything to us. the hotel has a quiet environment. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff is very kind and helpful. The food is delicious. this is a great place to stay and to do safari. We highly recommended.

Truly amazing place! The beds are comfy, the food is delicious and Chandi and her family go above and beyond to make you have the best experience. I highly recommend the safari they offer as well. Everyone is super lovely and I wish them only the best for their future!

Perfect hotel for Yala Safari. A large number of animals were seen. Lucky to be able to see the leopard. Our guide was very knowledgeable and said that every day his tourists could see leopards. I felt that my trip was complete because of that super safari. There is no problem with electricity as the hotel has a generator. The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. Highly recommend.
