Amazing! We booked our tour forgetting that there was an hour difference between Singapore and Indonesia. We arrived very early (8:30am for a 10:30am booking), and our driver Ari arrived for our ferry arrival without being asked at 8:30am. He noted that there was only one ferry before 10:30am, and picked us up. So kind! He made our trip go so smoothly! We took a small boat over to a floating house, where we were provided kayaks, snorkeling gear, coffee, tea, and water. They helped us find Nemo, feed zebra fish, and jump off of a platform, all while staying close and keeping a watchful eye. The experience was freeing and so much fun, highly recommend this. What a blast!

Went for the day - fished, snokelled and kayaked to the White Sands Island. The guys were friendly and welcoming and took good care of me and my wife. You could snorkel as long as you wanted, chill as long as you wanted, kayak as long as you wanted...you get the idea!!! Now I've travelled a lot and done many tours and snorkelling trips but this was truly epic. They also threw in videos and pics of the snorkelling adventure. I recommend highly.

Definitely an adventure...! From getting in a tiny boat heading in the pitch dark to see the fireflies at night. I'm glad I did this excursion.

Amazing snorkelling experience. Guides were very professional, helpful and kind. Pickup from ferry at 8am and back to hotel at 3pm. Kelong was good and clean. We werr given a room to change and rest. Great food and drinks. Snorkeling was safe for all including my 6yo and we were all doing it for the first time. Beautiful fish and corals. Guides gave us bread to feed and attract the fish and took amazing photos and videos of us. Unfortunately, due to monsoon, it rained heavily for the next 4hours so we fished on the kelong in the rain. Crazy fun. But due to safety and choppy seas and heavy rain, we could not kayak. Will be back next time in the summer months to enjoy again. Really enjoyable outdoor water adventure, rustic fun for city folks.

It was very fun, I especially enjoyed the Kayaking but the water was not very clear and most of the corals were dead except for one for pictures.

We were collected from our hotel 4 Points and driven an hour to boat. Good way to see island. Driver couldn’t speak much English but that’s ok . He was pleasant. Got handed to a colleague at beach who was with another couple and told he would look after us. He didn’t . He talked to other couple and we had no idea what was going on. Trip on dingy was rough but ok. Arrived at man made structure in water about 20 min out. Snorkelling was good but water not clear so hard to see fish. Many tiny fish but mostly sane type. Guys in water with you were great. Really helpful. Everyone on structure was very helpful . Not rushed at all. Knew no food provided and can’t buy anything so bring your own. This was not an issue. Places to change and sit. Driver met us back on land and drove us back. All up a low budget snorkelling outing of 6-7 hours. Would recommend for the price.

When did I last see Fireflies (jugnus) - must have been in my younger days until last week when we did experience one at Bintan. we got late for Mangrove trip hence changed that to Fireflies tour. it was worth the delay. totally dark was the area and once you approach fireflies sitting on the natural plants, they move and one can see their dance. Worth the scare as well. Enjoyed the hour long tour. Must visit place at Bintan.

I found out about Bintan Trans Pertama on Tripadvisor when planning for a family trip with my husband and my parents. Mr Wang or Rio corresponded with me over Whatsapp and it was an excellent choice. Rio was flexible and accomodating and we went to the Blue Lake, Sand Dune, kelong lunch and sleeping Buddha temple. Also brought us to buy some local souvenirs. We ended our day with a dinner at the Asun food court which was a change from the more expensive resort restaurant food. Very reasonable rate and would recommend Rio if you need a driver in Bintan.

We had the most incredible snorkeling experience in Bintan, thanks to Mr. Rio and his exceptional team! From the moment they picked us up from our hotel to the moment they dropped us off, we felt like royalty. Mr. Rio went above and beyond to ensure our family had an unforgettable experience. He personally drove us to the speed boat and arranged everything with precision and care. His kindness, patience, and attention to detail made us feel so comfortable and at ease. The snorkelling trip itself was breathtaking! While the water was not that crystal-clear waters, we were still able to experience the vibrant marine life, and stunning coral reefs. Mr. Rio and his team were always nearby, ensuring our safety and also helped us to take a lot of underwater photos and videos. My wife could not swim well but yet his team has helped her to gain confidence and went into the water to experience the fun herself. Our kids had an absolute blast, and we couldn't be more grateful to Mr. Rio and his team for creating such an enjoyable and educational experience for them. If you're looking for an affordable snorkelling adventure in Bintan, look no further! Mr. Rio and his team are the best in the business. We got an excellent driver named Mr. Henri. Very punctual driver and a good photographer as well. Took us to a nice cafe for lunch . Henri is very flexible and accomodating guy. Thank you very much for a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

This snorkelling tour was very fun, affordable, and well-organised by Rio, our tour organiser and Yurnalis, our tour guide and driver! Yurnalis picked us up from our hotel (Cassia Bintan) and drove us to the snorkelling site which was about an hour. Then we sat on a speedboat to the man-made house above the sea for the snorkelling. We snorkelled for a good 1h30m, then went kayaking, and spent an hour there just chilling and playing with hermit crabs. Afterwards, we fished and washed up! 1. Unlimited time for all activities!! We spent a good 3-4 hours just snorkelling, kayaking, fishing. 2. You can rinse yourself with water which they provided! They provide towels as well (was not the cleanest but it is okay), and you can bring soap too. 3. All staff were very friendly and provided us with videos and photos of our snorkelling~ 4. We were warned that the water was not very clear as it is monsoon season, but we decided to still go ahead with it! 5. I would say it is a low-budget snorkelling experience. It was still enjoyable though! Do bring your own equipment if you are afraid of using used equipment. *Although it is monsoon season in December in Bintan, we still went ahead with the tour! Thank god the weather was on our side and it didn't rain haha. I got sunburnt instead LOL

The tour was overall really nice. They were super friendly and made sure we had a great time snorkeling in the beautiful ocean. Just keep in mind that there isn't much space to change or relax on the tour boat. They took awesome videos while we were snorkeling, and the best part is they shared all the videos with us at no extra cost, so we could have those precious memories on video. They even kindly picked us up right in front of our hotel, which made the whole transportation super convenient. If you're thinking about snorkeling, I definitely recommend it!

the firefly tour was ok, not particularly spectacular but friendly and low stress. do not use insect repellant you won't need it and I doubt the flies like it !

Very basic tour but straightforward - drive to dock, jump on noise motor boat, drive around the mangrove looking for fireflies for a while, return. Don't expect too much but good for a quick getaway from a bog-standard Bintan Resort.

Magical experience, to see the fire flies lighting up the trees Iike a Christmas tree, and catching them with the cup of your hand and watching them fly off again. The boat ride in the dark was also quite fun and the stars were also amazing! Guide was very friendly and provided helpful info about the mangrove and fireflies. To be honest it wasn’t swarms of them but still enough to wow you. Apparently it’s better right after the rain and on moonless nights. In case you’re wondering, this is the same place for the mangrove tour, but a shorter ride because it is it safe to go into the mangrove at night when the snakes come out. :)
