          Best tour guide
My wife and I just finished our incredible tour of Seven Sister falls with Densil. In all our years travelling we’ve never had a guide go above and beyond like Densil. Highly recommend using him for anyone sightseeing in Grenada

          Wonderful Experience
Densil was a great tour guide. He picked us up directly from the resort and gave us lots of information about Grenada. My husband and I had no problem getting up or down the hillside, and we were stupid enough to do it in sandals and loafers, but others may find it challenging even with proper footwear. The views are simply breathtaking. Be brave and get in the water! You'll also get to visit Grand Etang lake, and if you're lucky, Ben the ambassador monkey might hit you up for a treat. Lastly, you'll visit Annandale Falls. It's definitely more touristy, so we opted to drink Stag at the bar, but it's still beautiful.

Densil was my guide and he was excellent! He's very knowledgeable of Grenada and provides good information on the way to waterfalls and throughout the hikes. He's an excellent photographer too! The hikes are easy to moderate.

          Amazing Tour with Denzel!
Amazing Tour with Denzel! Our Grand Etang and Fort Frederick tour with Denzel was unforgettable! He even found the “monkey whisperer,” letting us hold a monkey—a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Denzel’s knowledge and passion for Grenada’s history and beauty made the experience incredible. Highly recommend!

7 sisters is such a beautiful waterfall. the hike is pretty difficult, so keep that in mind. but the payoff is worth it. you'll definitely want to take a dip in the water after the hike. bring some trail mix and WATER.

Lovely tour of sights and smells. Great for cruise passengers
This was a wonderful little tour that lasted half of the day whilst we got off a cruise ship. We saw Laura spice Garden and a beautiful local chocolate shop that is owned by a British man whose passion for local chocolate whilst incredible and oozing out of him. We got to see a lot of the local area and I highly recommend this tour

A great, if muddy, hike through extraordinary scenery
This is an exciting hike with remarkable view. Densil was a fantastic guide. Unless you have a machete and know how to use it you definitely want to have a guide as it’s a very overgrown and lush trail. It’s very muddy so don’t wear white shoes. Hiking boots are probably worth it if you have them. They provide water and walking canes (which are essential). It’s extremely exciting to walk through rain forest and the views of the entire island are extraordinary. Be warned a) that it’s really muddy and b) that you walk along a ridge. It’s not at all dangerous but it’s not great for those with vertigo. If you’re unfit you might not enjoy this and want to start with a waterfall trail instead. But definitely do this if you like the hike in the Caribbean. It’s amazing and very very well led and organized.

          Spice & sweet
I had a wonderful tour with Stephanie to the spice market, chocolate making and Fort Fredrick. It was really good fun and Stephanie was very knowledgeable of the Islands history. The spice market had lots of choice & one lady right at the back explained all of the spices and would allow you to touch and smell them. Chocolate tasting was really good. Then demonstration was just the right amount of time and information. My favourite part was the views from the Fort Fredrick of the bay & to the mountains & jungle. This is a good tour for solo people as you get to choose how long you do each item and it gives you a nice intro to Grenada & its history. Stephanie made me feel very comfortable, we were able to laugh and joke which was nice being a woman traveller on my own to let my guard down, relax and enjoy.

Great trip with waterfalls, swimming and great impressions of the landscape of grenada
The excursion is highly recommended, especially if you want to get a nice insight into the wonderful beauty of Grenada. It goes to the east coast as well as through the interior. The breathtaking waterfalls Seven Sisters, the very beautiful and quiet Mt. Carmel and also the Annadale waterfall are visited. we were able to enjoy our baths in the pools of the waterfalls very much. It should be emphasized that we had a great guide who gave us a lot of information, made spontaneous stops possible and took many great photos and videos for us. THANKS AGAIN TO DENSIL!

A one in a million Tour Company - first class experience!
One of the best days ever! From the moment we contacted Grenada Explorer Tours we had exceptional customer service. Nathalie communicated with us whilst we were still in the UK to make sure we got the most from our day. We were picked up from our hotel by Stephanie. She is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Immediately putting us at ease and a mine of information about Granada. We visited three waterfalls, and I swam in all three. My husband just swam at Seven Sisters which was looking particularly dramatic after a tree had come loose in Hurricane Beryl and then recent heavy rains had positioned it right in the waterfall. Randy was our guide for this waterfall. He was very caring and so knowledgeable. We came across a couple who were struggling to get down to by themselves and he took time to ensure they were safe and enjoyed their visit even though they weren’t part of our group. It was so touching to see that. Stephanie took us down to Carmel Falls and Annadale - she was so kind and full of fun. Really encouraging when I wanted to swim and she took some beautiful photos and videos of us, which she took time to send us later. I so hoped to see a Mona Monkey and Stephanie helped us to make that happen - it was wonderful. She felt like a friend by the end of the day and offered to get me some soursop leaves to help my health. To sum up - a fabulous tour company with the most happy, smiling and knowledgeable guide showing us the magic of Grenada. Thank you to all the team for a wonderful day!

          Rainforest Adventures!
From start to finish on every level this was an incredible experience!! Densil was our driver and guide...Randy was the hike guide...both of these cool dudes made sure we had the most amazing day! Make sure you bring decent shoes for the hike...flip flops or sandals will make you start to regret your life decisions. The hike to Seven Sisters waterfall will drop you down into the rain forest to river level over about a mile long trail (one way). And be prepared...you are in an actual rain forest...like no joke, Jurassic Park vibes the whole way! Super cool. Annadale Falls is much easier and more commercial. Paved trail...bar and restaurant...a few local vendors...but also really scenic. There are monkeys and the bird from the Toucan Sam commercial on-site as well. Special shout out again to Densil and Randy for making the trip 5 stars!! You guys rock!

          Wonderful experience but be prepared!
This was an incredible experience but make sure you wear tennis shoes, hiking shoes, etc. this hike is not a stroll. There are rocks and steps that are not easy to maneuver. The water feels amazing after being hot and sweaty. It’s surreal hiking through a rainforest and seeing such a beautiful site.

While we had a car and had driven across the island, we decided we needed a break from the twisty, challenging Grenadian roads and went with the tour to get to the Balthazar River tubing. The tour guide is the owner-operator--very friendly and with great stories. Denzel McIntosh (though he introduces himself as Denzel Washington). No problem picking us up at our resort at the far southwestern end of the island; a stop then to pick up some passengers at the cruise ship terminal. On our way to the tubing, we stopped at Grand Etang National Park--we saw the lake, but the monkeys weren't out. The tubing was very enjoyable--combination of a lazy river and some mild rapids; wonderful scenery. Pretty much the right duration. The river, though was fairly low, so you frequently got hung up on rocks. There were five "pushers" from the tubing company who worked hard to make sure everyone one kept going. Not sure if the river would be more free-flowing during the rainy season. Still, it was a very enjoyable experience. (The only issue is that we weren't expecting to be accompanied by the pushers and luckily we had enough cash on us for tips.) Went back to Grand Etang and our guide--despite his best efforts and those of the other guides there--weren't able to call out the monkeys. Then stopped at Annandale Falls. It's one of the "must-sees" in Grenada, though it is fairly touristy. The falls themselves are nice and you can swim there (though the water is cold). Again, our guide was very genial and even bought us all treats from a local roadside bakery.
FYI, you don't need a change of clothes--just a bathing suit with a top or cover-up and water shoes, along with a towel. You'll be in the water for the tubing and, if you want, for the Falls. He'll have towels in the van as well.

This half-day adventure was an absolute blast! The river tubing was exhilarating, with just the right amount of rapids to keep things interesting. Kimo, our guide, worked extremely hard to keep us from being stuck in the river rocks and ensured our experience was fun and, most importantly, safe. Kimo deserves an award, really and truly! I went with my best friend and we'll definitely recommend this activity to our friends and family visiting Grenada. Mikey, our driver, was knowledgeable and so accommodating and ensured our safety throughout the journey. We visited Grand Etang Lake and Annadale Falls afterward and got some good local food. It was a great day!

We had an amazing experience! Right from the start Explorer Grenada Tours was on time and our guide/driver Denzel was absolutely fabulous. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. He went out of his way to make sure we had a good time and showed us some great local spots. Also offered to take so many pictures for me which is something I loved.

Our guide for the tubing, Prince, was a champ! He was so fun and made it his priority to make sure we were enjoying ourselves while staying safe in the river. With the water being a bit low during their dry season, Prince got quite the workout helping us along. We can’t thank him enough for the experience.

After the tubing we went to a fresh water lake in the rainforest where we got to meet some monkeys and take in the beauty of our surroundings before heading to annadale falls. We jumped in and swam around for a bit . It was beautiful. we got to have lunch at the local restaurant. Food was delicious.

This experience is a most do if going to Grenada!! Book the Explorer Grenada and you won’t be disappointed.

The only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is because the river was so low & rocky because it is not the rainy season. The price for this tour should be cheaper during this time or at least inform the visitors before booking because you can definitely get hurt on those rocks.
Our tour guide Densil was absolutely the BEST, very friendly & knowledgeable about Grenada.
Our tour guide on the river was excellent too, he had to do a lot of work for us because the river was so low.
The river definitely didn’t look like the picture advertised. Please let me know if compensation is an option.

We were picked up in an open top vehicle which is a fun way of seeing the island (instead of through the windows of a bus) Our driver Ivan was excellent as was Beetle (aka Badger!) our guide. The waterfall was beautiful and lovely to swim in. The river tubing was good fun- not white water rafting but any stretch, but a few baby rapids which made it interesting. Beautiful river to go down and Beetle showed us lots of natural sights on the way and gave us fruits and spices to taste. Really recommend this trip as a way of seeing the island and having some fun in the refreshing water.

Our guide was personable, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile! The company owner also joined us for a while, and we felt like we were among friends.

The tubing adventure was fun, although lack of rainfall left a few spots in the river a challenge to pass. The highlight of the trip was a beautiful rainforest park and lake where the caretaker called down some monkeys out of the trees and they climbed around on us in search of bananas.

We also went wading in the pool at the base of a gorgeous waterfall, pleasantly cool from it's trip down the mountain.

Of course, the island's famous spices were available for purchase as well. While billed as a half-day adventure, the tour operator was in no hurry to get rid of us, and we ended by enjoying coconut water from a freshly cut coconut.

Our guide Stephanie made sure that we had the best day in Grenada! She is knowledgeable, caring and fun! Despite longish drives we were thoroughly entertained throughout the trip with stories and anecdotes from local life and had the best experiences river-tubing and diving in the falls! We were also lucky to be able to see and interact with monkeys and learn about local history and culture. Stephanie, we will never forget you - one of the best tour-guides ever!

Amazing from pickup to drop off! Our entire family loves the tour of the island, starting with driving through St. George’s winding up the hills to the rain forest to the Falls. Our guide answered every question and his pride in living in Grenada shone through. We couldn’t pick our favorite part of the tour - but we all agreed that this was one of the best ways we could have spent a day in Grenada!

My wife and I thought we were signing up for just some river tubing and visiting the waterfall. However, the day ended up being so much more than that.

River tubing was a blast. Our guides in the river with us were very helpful in navigating the rapids that were along the route. Visiting the waterfall afterwards was very nice as well. The water was refreshing and the falls were beautiful to see.

The main highlight of the day, however, was our tour guide/driver Marcus. He was not only very professional but extremely knowledgeable about the area. Throughout the day he helped us take multiple photos of everything we saw. As we were driving around the island, he took us along the scenic routes to explain all there is to know about Grenada. He even made stops for us in St. George’s market and the mall so we could buy some spices and other souvenirs to bring home. He absolutely made the day so much more fun for us. Ask for him as your guide and you won’t be disappointed.
