Don’t know why it took me so long to leave a review but thought it was about time - my trip didn’t start as we planned as my friend decided to pull out very late and I was very close to doing the same as didn’t want to travel so far alone with strangers but after speaking to some of the INTRO people they helped me make the best decision I have made in my life. Where do I start. I arrived quiet and a bit nervous but by the end of the first night in Tokyo I had made a whole new group of friends from all over the world. When I seen the itinerary I thought that we would be getting rushed from place to place but I was wrong without INTRO sorting all this I would have seen half of the stuff I seen or done. Where do I start sushi making, sleeping in a Buddhist temple, singing karaoke (first time ever), samurai experience and my favourite thing which I think was most peoples was the snow monkeys.

I can’t thank enough Sammy who was amazing throughout my time there making everyone of us feel so welcome and her knowledge of every thing we done. I also have discussed with some of my new friends about going on another INTRO together.

Japan was absolutely mind-blowing and easily became one of my favorite countries ever since the trip with Intro. Everyday was a new experience and travelling to not only the big cities, but also local spots helped me appreciate the beauty of this country even more. Nagano was one of my favorite spots during the trip, as we got to see the snow monkeys and try different types of sake. The samurai experience at the end was also a perfect way to cap off the trip as where else in the world can you actually wield a samurai sword and be trained by an actual one? Furthermore, the food is simply unforgettable. It feels as if each meal just gets better and better every time you eat! On another note, all the accommodations were well picked by Intro and they were all pretty comfortable and clean. My personal favorite was when we slept in a 1000 year old Buddhist temple in Koyasan. It was a different experience and one I won't be forgetting. Nathan did a great and thorough job helping us navigate through the country. He was very knowledgeable about Japan and was fantastic keeping us safe and on track. He often went above and beyond his duty when it came to helping us fulfill our own goals during free time. I would absolutely recommend this trip to everyone!s

Great tour in Japan! Adam showed us some real highlights of Japan, felt like we saw so much in just over 2 weeks. Kyoto was a beautiful city, definitely my favourite with all the temples and culture. The food is incredible everywhere, and we went to so many different types of restaurants that we got to try all of the best Japanese food – you can’t beat the sushi, but the Ramen was so good as well! Watching the monkeys play in the snow up in Nagano was also a special moment that I won’t forget. Thanks for the great tour, would definitely recommend!

I was recently on my third trip with Intro Travel (I've been to Bali and Vietnam before) out in Japan and I convinced my sister to come along with me as well this time. As I knew it would be, the tour was incredible and I feel we really got to see and experience so much in a 13 day tour.

I’ve been to a lot of different cities, but none of them really compare to the Japanese cities of Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, where one minute we would be looking at a beautiful ancient temple, castle or bamboo forest, and the next we would be in these crazy and super busy shopping districts or games arcades.

When most people go to Japan I think those three cities are at the top of the list, but what I liked most about the Intro tour was that between them we visited the rural and mountainous parts of Japan that a lot of people might skip. A highlight was definitely going to Nagano where the snow monkeys live. Going in February, although it was freezinggggg and snowing, watching the monkeys play in the snow and bathe in the hot springs is something I’ll never forget. And we also visited a small town called Koyasan which was pretty magical, where we got to stay in a Buddhist temple and do meditation and watch the monks’ prayer ceremonies.

Like my other Intro tours, the tour in Japan ran really smoothly from start to finish and you can see Intro have put a lot of effort into providing a good range of activities that I might not have done on my own, especially the sushi making class and samurai lesson, where we got to practice using a real samurai sword! The accommodation was really good throughout as well, staying in some pretty cool hostels and hotels, but also traditional Japanese style hotels. They were all very clean and the staff were always very friendly.

And lastly a big shout out to Adam, who was our group leader. He made sure we all had a great time and got everyone involved, and his knowledge of Japan and the places we visited was really good. Definitely needs to improve his Karaoke skills though, haha!

Thanks for another great trip!

I had the best time ever on the Intro Japan tour and got to experience Japan with the best group. I got to tick everything off my Japan bucket list in seeing some epic nature, tasting the many Japanese cuisines, arcades and my most favourite was the samurai class where I wielded a 400 year old sword.

The accommodation was exceptional and great value for money. We stay at many different types from a capsule hostel, hotels and a Ryokan which is traditional Japanese inn and has its own Onsen!

The difference places we go to on the tour make you feel you've seen all the different sides of Japan from the futuristic cities to the natural parts.

Our guide Nathan welcomed me at our first accommodation, making me feel comfortable instantly. He also navigated us throughout Japan without fault and safely as well as showing us a great time!

5* from me!

I had an amazing experience! Japan Adventure was my third tour and fourth country I’ve visited with Intro. I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The food and drink we tasted were amazing, all the activities and experiences were so much fun! We stayed in some amazing places, it was worth every penny. Sammy was the best, she has an incredible knowledge on the country and you can tell she is passionate, this country now has a special place in my heart. I’m so happy I got to experience Japan with some amazing people! I’m already planning my next trip with intro!:)

Japan intro was amazing, we had the best time up in the mountains sleeping in a traditional Japanese inn and spending the day seeing the snow monkeys in the hot springs. I loved the samurai class it was a great way to end the trip and so much fun. We ate some great food and got the chance to see some amazing areas in Japan, the trip was so well organised and completely stress free with great daily activities and we always had lovely accommodation to come back to at the end of the day. Thank you intro travel and thank you Adam for all your hard work and making Japan an amazing trip.

This is my third Intro tour, and it just never disappoints. Always have the best time! Adam and Nathan were amazing tour leaders, making everything run smoothly, as well as being very knowledgable and keeping the group together. I loved every part of it, we visited the best of Japan’s cities, including Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto, but my favorite was definitely being up in the mountains seeing the monkeys in Nagano! The sushi making class was also a lot of fun! This trip was amazing, and definitely my fav Intro tour so far. Can’t wait for my next.

Big thanks to Adam for being such a fantastic group leader, and making sure none of us got lost around Japan! (His enthusiasm and knowledge of all the ins-and-outs of Japan definitely made up for his lack of dance skills). Loved seeing the snow monkeys in Nagano, exploring all the big cities and the food was 11/10. Would highly recommend Intro! :)

I didn't know what to expect when joining the tour as it was my first tour. Now I've done it, it was definitely the right decision and a great introduction to Japan. INTRO have done a super job getting a balance between culture, activities, food, meeting locals and FREE TIME! Free time was very important for me as there were things I wanted to see on my own in certain cities and this tour allows that as well as doing group activities.

We also done things which I would of never done myself if I travelled Japan such as seeing the Snow Monkeys and Sushi Making class which ended up being my highlights!

I will definitely be travelling with INTRO again and thank you for giving me a holiday of lifetime!j
