My husband & I loved our private class with Emi! We learned to make yuzu daikon, miso soup, and gyoza for lunch, and had lots of fun pleating the gyozas together. Emi made us feel very comfortable and even took us to a grocery store later to shop. If you’re visiting Tokyo & looking for a unique getaway from the busy city, go spend a quiet afternoon with Emi learning something new! We can’t wait to go home & keep making gyoza together. Thank you Emi!

Emi picked us up from the station and walked us to her apartment, en route telling us about the area and life in Tokyo. She welcomed us into her cozy home and shared with us her knowledge about local Japanese cuisine and produce. We learned how to make hand rolled udon noodles with beef and yuzu daikon. The class was fun and informal, and the final result yum! The best way to truly immerse yourself into home style Japanese cooking. En route home she also gave us a tour of a Japanese supermarket.

Emi was very sweet, and the food was so good! We really enjoyed making the gyoza with pork- we will definetly make these at home in Denmark. It was really interesting to talk with Emi about the differences between japanese and Danish cooking-culture and we learned lots of new things about Japan

We had a great cooking class with Emi! It was nice and personal as it was just the two of us. She was thorough and explained all the steps to us, as well as gave us cooking tips for when we try to re-create the menu at home. Would have appreciated learning a little but more about Japanese cuisine as a culture.
