Mr Takemura is a really nice person and a true professional. The photographer is also really great. If you want to expérience wearing a Samurai Armor this is the right place.

The dresser is a real hype-man, his English is great, this is a must if it is your first time in Japan. You get to learn a little bit about the Samurai that wore the armour. There are a few different sets of armour you get the pick from. There is a bit of time when copying the photos so you are able to take a few selfies of yourself in the armour. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Try the 30kg real metal armor wearing experience, know each part of armor and weapons, took many photos in studio and very lucky to have a chance for TV Asahi interviewing

Great experience. I booked it for my son’s Birthday. Mr. Takemura was great. Very helpful and was extremely detailed when he explained the armors and the history behind them. As well as the details behind every piece of equipment he put on you. Make the experience great. Very positive person. A super terrific operation. We were shooting a concept book cover for a Samurai based romance novel in progress and needed both studio space, costumes and talent. Their expertise on everything Samurai cannot be equaled. Photographers in their own right, my shot list allowed them to get things quickly organized. Everything except our own Sony A1 was on hand there and the quantity and selection of costumes was simply terrific. I can’t recommend their services highly enough.

I want to thank Takemura with his wonderful positive attitude. I also had a wonderful time wearing the Samurai of Sanada. It was my dream to go to Tokyo to wear a Samurai outfit because of the influence in video games, anime and tv series like Shogun, Disney + also Tokyo, Japan was my number one holiday dream and it came true :) If you are a Tourist in Tokyo I fully recommend this place just on the right side of the building were Lawson Convenience store, Shibuya is located.

It was a wonderful experience all around with several poses and props used with a pick of your colour of armour, the manager Shimpei Takemura is both knowledgeable and friendly/passionate any I couldn’t rate it any better an experience, would highly recommend

Booked a slot on the 21-May-2024 at around 11am, and probably is the first group to arrive for the day. We were instantly welcomed by the Manager - Shimpei Takemura and his team. He gave a brief rundown on the background of the Samurai who once donned the familiar armours and allowed us to touch and take photos before the actual fun began. The armour itself weighs about 30 kilograms (66 pounds) and trying to walk really makes you wonder how the warriors of the past can charge at their enemies with ease. All in all, I truly enjoyed my time there and look forward to another visit in the near future.

My husband booked this for both of us, and I will admit I was skeptical, especially because it was not inexpensive. However, I am so glad he did, it was absolutely worth every penny. The experience for the two of us lasted about 90 minutes. It takes time to have all that armor put on properly and they took tons of photos. They provided us with an SD card of approximately 300 photos and he also airdropped them to my iphone while we were there. I was expecting the "nickel-and-diming" that happens in the US for an event like this, but it never occurred. Of all the things we did throughout Japan, this was my husband's hands down favorite. And I admit it was fantastic.
