Overview
Eliminate the hassle of traveling to Mt. Fuji on this stress-free day trip from Tokyo. Keep boredom at bay with onboard Wi-Fi during a scenic bus journey to Mt. Fuji 5th Station and Komagatake Ropeway, for which all entrance fees are included. Plus you’ll enjoy a sightseeing cruise of Lake Ashi, part of Hakone National Park. Unlike many other Mt. Fuji tours, hotel pickup and a Japanese lunch are included.
What to Expect

Start your tour with a morning pickup from select Tokyo hotels. You’ll board an air-conditioned bus equipped with Wi-Fi for the drive to Mt. Fuji. During the journey, your guide provides interesting commentary that details the culture, history, and geology of the mountain.

Ascend to Mt. Fuji 5th Station to wander around Shinto shrines and take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. After a break for a traditional Japanese lunch, you’ll take a sightseeing cruise on Lake Ashi, part of Hakone National Park.

Your tour culminates with a visit to Komagatake Ropeway, one of Japan’s highest aerial tramways. On arrival at Mt. Komagatake’s scenic summit, you’ll have free time to explore.

The full-day tour concludes with drop-off at a central Tokyo location.

Beautiful even without a view of Mt. Fuji

So, we got this tour with the intent of catching several views of Mt. Fuji, including the 5th station, and do a cruise at Lake Ashi. Well, Mother Nature had other plans.... It was snowing and we couldn't see anything, no sight of Mr. Fuji...More

It's doubtful. This tour picks up from various hotels in Tokyo (to the east), not where you are (1 1/4 hrs northwest). Ask the concierge or tourist info where you will be staying for tours you can book from where you are... More
