- J1409QNellenj0 contributionsBEST day tour with fantastic guide! This half day tour to the Canelobre caves and Busot was the highlight of my friends and i holiday. We really enjoyed the fact that we were in a small group and were able to interact with the guide and ask lots of questions in the cave. Guide showed us Busot town, lovely and got us a drink a fantastic way to end tour. 100% recommend!Written March 21, 2025
- ATMehta0 contributionsFantastic day tour to caves! My family and I had a wonderful time visiting the Canelobre caves and Busot town with Ali-Olí Tours. Our guide, Alberto was incredible so knowledgeable about the caves and everything Alicante. We entered the cave with only our small group of 7 people of which was private and exclusive as you see other tour groups enter in with the standard cave guide and with groups of 20+ so we felt very special! After we then visited the Busot town and our guide showed us around the town and then invited us to a drink at a local cafe which was a fantastic way to end the tour. My whole family really enjoyed this trip, memories that have made our visit to Alicante so special. The trip was worth every penny!Written March 14, 2025
- chriswagner5200 contributionsExcellent day tour!A really nice day trip to see the beautiful coastal towns of Villajoyosa and Altea with top guide! Guide was very knowledgeable, entertaining and had us laughing a lot of the trip! Loved visiting the small family run chocolate factory and trying all different types of chocolate. These towns are a must see when visiting Alicante. I recommend the Ali-Oli Tours team as they organized a few different tours for us that were excellent and really made some memorable experiences for myself and family while visiting Alicante. Thank you!Written March 2, 2025
- chriswagner5200 contributionsFantastic exclusive experience at the caves!A fantastic half day tour and well worth it! Our local guide was great very knowledgeable and funny, kept us entertained all morning! Learned a lot about Alicante and local culture. We were the first people to enter the Canelobre cave as our guide had access even before the cave officially begun their normal tours. We were a small group of 7 people which was exclusive compared to the big groups of 20 + people that are on the standard cave tours. After we visited the town of Busot which was lovely and our guide told us a lot of stories and we met some of his friends in the town. Overall recommend 100%!Written March 2, 2025
- Jade L0 contributionsA great eveningWow, what a fantastic way to meet such friendly local people and other travellers alike. Great way to explore the city in the evening and with such a knowledgeable guide, not only about local cuisine but also the city’s rich culture and history too. We ended our evening sat around a table with a group of strangers whom we otherwise would not have had the pleasure to meet, drinking vine and eating arroz. We sat for ages after the tour talking and sharing stories. A fantastic evening, it is well worth doing. We had such a great time, thank you Alicante Food Club. The guides were also incredibly helpful afterwards too in recommending places to eat via email and sharing tips on where to get the best steak in town. It didn’t disappointWritten February 8, 2025
- edrwinf0 contributionsExcellent. 100% RecommendedExcellent choice, my family and I always want to take a tour of a winery. This option exceeded our expectations, Alberto (our tour guide) was very kind and always explained to us, not only the history of the winery, the grape plantation and harvesting, and the process of producing the wine there but also he was explaining other facts about Alicante province and its agricultural products. The winery was excellent small but very nice, well-curated and maintained. The grapes plantation was good. And the wines offered were very delicious, as well as the snacks. Also, the attention of the staff at the winery and restaurant was excellent.Written January 19, 2025
- 502wilfg0 contributionsThanks Alberto! This brilliant tour was made extra special thanks to our guide Alberto. A fantastic tour of two very different but equally lovely villages and the time just flew. The chocolate factory tour was a great stop off! Would recommend highly!!!Written January 18, 2025
- thisbyrdcanfly0 contributionsAuthentic and delicious!Loved the fact that they support small locally owned and operated tapa bars and restaurants. The food selection was generous and delicious and loved all the wine that came with It! I learned a lot about the local food and the guide you could tell was really well connected she knew everyone and we had a lot of laughs with the locals. It felt like a night out with friends. Wonderful experience and they gave us a lot of tips and recommendations of where to eat locally! The value of the tour was totally worth every cent! Recommend 100%Written December 9, 2024
- Stephanie R0 contributionsA Wonderful Place; VillajoyosaWhat a fantastic area to visit with its colourful quirky homes and beautiful beach. The weather was in early 20’s / late teens throughout our trip and suited us perfectly. We will definitely be returningWritten December 9, 2024
- marcjL451TM0 contributionsLots of great food!Rebecca was very knowledgeable and super easy to get on with. Introduced us to some fab new foods. My partner is pescartarian, and was very happy with the choice. There's plenty of food, don't worry about being left hungry. Generous portions of brilliant local food. We'd both highly recommend!Written December 1, 2024

- Palatir110 contributionsIf you like to sample tasty food you are in best hands hereGreat tour to learn about Alicante food and the small family businesses which are behind the most tasty experiences 😋. We started at the market, the 3rd largest permanent and housed market in Spain, sampled food along bakery, olives, ham, cheese and fruits. Visited 2 tapas bars, not touristic at all but visibly part of everyday live. Thank you Rebecca for the great morning we spent as a family of grown ups.Written November 17, 2024

Took the tour from the Hotel. The tour lasted about 6 hours all told. We had one stop on the way. I took the optional visit to the motor cycle museum which was vey interesting. There is also a shop selling local produce and a Restaurant. Our guide was excellent Charlotte, was very knowledgeable about the area. We were offered a visit to the Three Museums at half price which I did and very much enjoyed. It is beautiful up in the mountains and the drive up there is amazing. Plenty of places to visit and there are several places to have a packed lunch.

We traveled for 18 days in Spain, France and Italy, doing a 10 day cruise and some travel on our own before and after. We did private tours almost every day. Our tour in Alacante was one of the best tours of the entire trip.
Alberto was our driver/guide. He was great in every capacity—good driver, knowledgeable, great English, and very fun to be around. It was like hanging out with one of your friends for the day and them showing you around.
He took us to the streets that had the charm and not the tourist traffic, gave us time to explore on our own and gave us pointers on what to do/see and told us the places to eat for good local food. He even bought us these sweet fruits that just came in season, so we could try them!
The cost was very reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend.
